Thats how i felt playin guitar hero. Evens Flow is my shit. Put me up on some great Rock..Keep up the good work wit the music brohamskis. 1 love from yo brotha from anotha motha. Yo nigga
I really enjoy your posts, and your reactions, I'm sure you're familiar with the group Queen...check out how they were so impressed with Nile Rodgers and his group Chic, These Are All Good Times, where Queen: Another One Bite The Dust...Chic/ Freak Out!
All you need to do to appreciatec it is put it on a good sound system. Like old school amps and speakers like Tekton Poly Cell 15's. Then you'll know. Guaranteed.
I know I'm late to the party, but this song slaps hard! I first heard this song 40 years ago. Whenever I want some hard core funk, this is what I listen to. Keep up the good work brother.
I'm only 25 and I've heard of Fleetwood mac but I've never fully listened to any of their songs because its outdated but listening to their Song "Dream" TODAY has such a chill nostalgic vibe. Like what you said it's stuff you never heard of until when you listen to it you appreciate it
Damn Dirty, you did it once again. To see you reactin to songs ive heard when they fist came out, is somethin real, real nice man. Welcome to the old school funk., i was born and raised on it, glad to have you on board. This is that shit that "RIDES". This vid makes me wanna pull my hog out the garage and go pound the pavement right now! Loud pipes and loud jams, you know how we do it in L.A. Keep poundin.
@@MetalBikerDudeReacts I wont get to ride tonight, once I drink I dont ride . Not like I used to, ive lost too many bruthas from poundin and poundin. Im old enough to know better, might get away tonight, but fucked tomorrow. So , I stay in and wait til im clear headed, you have no idea how bad these muthafuckas drive out here. Lol... To you and the rest of the pounders out there stay safe.
As a kid - I thought music would be of this quality forever....I took it for granted... But man. Music sure has changed (and not necessarily in a good way). But if it is strong, bomb-ass bass lines you are looking for? Oh yeah. 70's, 80's funk and soul - got it for ya.
I'm class of eighty-five, I first heard it at a pizza place, always reminds me of my cousins, and NEVER TIRE OF IT. Sample some Zapp/Roger- Do it Roger, do it. High school days of glory.
Welcome to the land of funk. Keep 'em coming. Midnight Star, "Curious", Dynasty "Here I Am" (especially for the bass line), "I've Just Begun To Love You" and "Love In The Fast Lane", Instant Funk, "Slap, Slap, Lickety Lap", Rick James "You And I", Zapp Band "More Bounce To The Ounce", Parlament/Funkadelic "Knee Deep" and "Flashlight", The Gap Band "Outstanding" (this is one you really need to hear if nothing else).
You're right on with your reaction! This song will never get old...but....the background vocals really "show out" at the end. Find a longer version and you'll be very pleased!
Time for you to experience "Slave", featuring the greatest funk bassist to ever walk the face of the earth! The late great Mark Adams! Got to check out their first hit "Slide"! It's got it all........in abundance!
Hey Dirty! You got cheated! There's a rap that they do that would've started where the video was chopped. I hope you listen to the full version, even off-camera. I'd be interested in what you think. This song is one of my absolute funk favorites, double bass line and all!
Perhaps it is that some pieces of music are so connected with the time they have been created that it becomes difficult to find the connection..what was in vogue, hit the nerve has lost the target. If they are laced with the gimmicks of the day it highlights the gap. It is a different thing if the song takes you to a certain moment in life...it may be dross to someone else while it is a piece of gold to you. Some songs may have caught bit extra that may carry them over the decades and sadly there are also songs that in their anger are as relevant as they were when created years ago. Sorry for the rant. :)
Fuck Yeah!!! Love this fuckin Reaction!!!!
