Do you guys have a mock scenario where someone is using this in a sales call? Where they are using video conferencing + the white board in a collaborative session? I'm trying to sell this internally and seeing it in action would be helpful in that endeavor. Thanks.
Ian: You mentioned that Microsoft will be adding the ability to invite persons outside of an organization to an interactive Whiteboard. This would be SOOOO helpful to our grant projects that tutor children with dyslexia who are from many different schools. Any idea when this functionality might be added? And thanks for an excellent intro to Whiteboard for Education.
Great webinar, thanks so much...but I think the link to the MS Whiteboard UA-cam channel might need amending in the PPT deck - it’s not the right Whiteboard :-)
If you are using the Windows 10 Whiteboard app, try updating it from the Microsoft Store app on the device. Once updated, you may see the same functions.
When you import pdf or ppt, can you make them as one column instead of two columns? Since I am using the slide and write, I like to have them in one column.
What am I missing? I have access to Microsoft Whiteboard through my organization's login (.edu). It seems my version of Whiteboard is about as basic as it gets (and lame might I add). I have 4 colored pens and an eraser. I REALLY want my program to embrace Microsoft for Distance Learning, so I am watching these webinars (Thank you!), but we seem to not have what you are showing... how can I get more assistance on this matter?
If you download the app to your laptop / tablet, you'll have way more options. The desktop app seems to have the most features. The web version is *super* lame, you're right.
Is there a download for MAC's? I was able to download the app to my school laptop, but I have a MAC that I use at home. The version for MAC is too basic. This version doesn't do all the cool stuff you are showing in the video. How and where do I get that version for MAC computers?
Hi Michele. Sorry for the issue. Could you please contact our support team so we can take a look into this for you? Thanks for your patience! aka.ms/edusupport
Hey lurchHa3! You need to make sure you installed the Whiteboard application locally first. You can do so by opening the Microsoft Store, and look for "Microsoft Whiteboard".
@@GillesPeron I am using this on my Mac computer, when I go online to down load app, it says it is only able to be downloaded on iPhone or iPad? Can I download this on my computer to use? thank you.
Totally agree with invited teacher that MSWB is very easy to use, no pre-learning is required.
You sit with it for 10 mins, you're good to go.
