Oh my goodness... This tutorial helped me make my first chibi drawing 4 years ago! Coming back to find this video makes me very happy, reminding me if I never watched this I would be stuck drawing basic flowers for the rest of my life. Thank you so much!

I am a kid in sixth grade. I'm not much, but, watching your videos and drawing these characters, I feel awesome! soon after watching as you progressed all the way to comics inspired me to do my very best to become a comic writer too. I don't have much friends, but I draw to pass time during break. I draw manga, chibi, dragons, and horses. thank you mark, because you have help me become a better person.

Thanks Mark! I totally couldn't find my Mastering Manga book, for what I wanted to do was a chibi with a peace sign, which was on the cover I believe, and I found this! I drew this on a card for my cousin's birthday and I bet she'll love it

It's a good book. It gives you lots of info, like references for hands, feet and poses. It also shows you the different styles of manga and all of that. It's awesome

Which is more difficult draw chibi or draw manga???????
+Eunike Lawa If you are drawing simple, they are both basically the same. If you draw more advanced, manga style is often way harder because it has more details.

Mark! I NEED HELP. Can you please do a how to do a homestuck troll chibi video because I don't know where I should place the horns or anything because I can be a dumb butt and also if you haven't already done one do one about how to draw the body along with the head with guidelines cause I suck without them.
P.S I love the pigtail style.
Well, I think the horns would be a little around the middle of the top of the head, or Nijinsky the ears a little bit on the top of the head.

I find that if your looking for starting manga or art in general Chi-bi is great for getting your proportions right for the future. :)

My manga drawings have gotten so much better since I started watching your videos and got your books, so thank you! My husband has noticed a difference.
