- A new year and a new season!
Last years videos got me off to a great start. I learned a lot about editing and I'm still learning. I've also spent a lot of time getting my VGA capture up and running, which hasn't been as easy as you'd think!
I've decided to start Season 2 of Rich's Random Retro Reviews. Season 2 will focus on technology I had or had access to while growing up. This is episode 01 - which shows me unboxing and setting up a HP 320LX Handheld PC, which is what really kicked off my fascination with technology.
Next episode, I'll be looking at some mobile phones I had 'back in the day'. Stay tuned for this upcoming episode.
Foi um dos meus sonhos impossíveis dos anos 2000. Ficava emocionado só de ver uma propagando nas revistas da época. Fico imaginando qual teria sido a minha sensação se tivesse tido a oportunidade de ter um desses na época. Infelizmente, nem se eu comprasse um hoje, poderei ter a a mais vaga ideia do que seria.

I had this device in the Mid-late 90's, whist I was at University, to be honest it was a nightmare, no spell check on Word. I had Windows CE V1,0, Sometime later I sort of recall HP/Microsoft sent me a chip to upgrade to CE 2.0 (I think). Still didn't make a difference. Great Video by the way.

I have one of those I bought in 2018. I have a few CE devices I keep waiting to get the time to mess with. Back in the day, I used a Dell Axim X3 and then an X5 as my main device... gosh, I still have my HP 95LX and 200LX I used before the internet :)
I've been looking for places to download CE software. I'm pretty good at Freecell!!!
Hpcfactor.com is about the only place to get CE software now. I have a stupidly large collection. eBay keeps tempting me!!

Hello.my friend very nice video iv just bought one 320 lx may ask is it possible to connect to router via ethernet ...for telnet and is it possible to run ms dos programs; thanks
Hi - you can get ethernet adapters to connect to a network, but I've never been successful in doing it. Unfortunately,. this device won't run MS DOS programs as they are written for x86 CPUs and this has an SH3 which is a completely different architecture. You may find some telnet clients on hpcfactor.com
