- This is the final part of unboxing and pricing that super colorful fun ShopGoodwill 20+ pound Box that had the BIG earrings and Austria Crystal Brooch.
I’m also doing some pricing and some re-dos for some of the ShopGoodwill Metallic box video jewelry that I had sound issues with.

Old disabled house bound dusty rusty rockhound here: Citrine and amethyst in the same crystal is called Ametrine. That's a nice big piece!

The pin from Scotland is a Kilt pin, for fastening the scottish kilt.I have one with scottish thistle with a yellow stone. Its about 55 yrs old.

The general consensus about what qualifies as vintage jewelry depends on what you read. Some sources say 20yrs, others 30 or even 50.
Antique is 100 yrs, so items from 1923 or before.
Personally, I think at least 30 yrs is a good number for vintage jewelry. 😉
I have the names of a few others should watch on UA-cam princess casserole and Kristen D. Another chance resale and ALemode by Adrienne I have learned so much by watching the ladies. The pin that says Scotland is a Scottish kilt pin it goes in the skirt!

@@BlessedBaubles I have been quite ill since December, and I was getting a bit bored with the channels I had been watching on You Tube, so I started looking at the channels recommended for me. I was watching a channel that showed a lady who would go to the thrift shops and take us with her. I don't get out too much, so it felt like old times. Lol. By watching those channels, they recommend others like it, and there you were. 😊 I was esp. excited when I heard you were from the Cape. I spent 1-2 weeks yearly on the Cape for a large part of my life. Plus, you have a nice soft voice, which is ASMR, I love that. Like Bob Ross. They would list you as an "Unintentional ASMR" here on YT. Now I have watched all of your videos, and you are a natural. You have no problem chatting. 🙂 When you untangle, it is not loud at all. Do not talk louder or stronger, it is perfect just the way you began. You are already quite informative about the items, and you do a very nice job, plus being so personable and easy to listen to makes it feel like I have known you all my life. Do not add music, 🤮 When I get myself better situated, I will certainly be buying, but that will be later. I know nothing about pay pal, I have only used a CC, or sent money orders for the items I have purchased on-line. Well, that is all for now, oh I loved that watch pin you showed timeline was 1:0415, I can't believe I remembered that from yesterday. Lol, those were the type of broach type watches that Nurses wore on their uniforms back in the day when we did vital signs. everything is electronic now. I am an old school nurse. The necklace @40:55 looks like pearl. If you rub two of the pearls together and can feel a gritty texture, they are real pearls. This pearl shape is called coin pearl.

In my short 2 weeks as a new UA-camr, I kept thinking that I can go back and put text on top of my videos where needed but my son just told me that I can’t. Its too late to add text to the video that’s already been launched.
That new laptop I ordered is going to be a game changer because I’ll be able to edit videos with the laptop. And the crown cheered, HURRAY! Lol
I also learned that I can launch the video as “private” at first, allow a few people to view it, then go back and make it public. Would you want to be one of the people that previews a video? I’d be HONORED! No pressure at all. Ever. Just a thought. Thank you ishara.

@@BlessedBaubles They take a while to sell. I have one pair (black lucite) very modernist look for sale on eBay, they have been hanging around with me for a few months. I don't think many people know about this designer. I had to do research on them, I did not know anything about them either. Check Ruby Lane the prices there are wild.
That emerald partial ring I think it's an earring, the hardware came off, when you positioned it like an earring that's what I thought it was but the hardware to make the earring is missing

Yes, there are many places to find out what chains are called, but I'm sure the one you reference is a great one.
When I'm opening the jewelry boxes, I'm just seeing the pieces for the first time, on purpose, to show you all what its like to be right there.
I would stop and look up the chain type, but I'm very new at UA-cam and I'm using the phone I would normally look up the chains on, to record the video.

Just wanted to say, during this video, you came across necklace, black pieces, enamel between chain necklace by "Kate Spade".
You didn't mention, but I will, in her late 40's or so, took her own life by hanging. Her pieces should be worth more, now that she has passed.

@@BlessedBaubles Eco friendly, meaning the brown paper and cardboard box instead of bubble wrapped, and plastic bubble mailers. I have large storage containers full of packing supplies I will reuse. The paper based pkg is recyclable, whereas the plastic based is reusable but not recyclable here locally.

Ok, you were showing string of hand tied pearls, maybe discolored, wondered if they were real?
That's why I commented a good way to tell if cultured or fresh water pearls are real, they will feel gritty if you rub them across your teeth.

Yes, ma'am. Waxed linen is a good, strong, item to restring, even your vintage strand needs restrung.
Waxed linen comes in white, cream, brown and black.
Available at craft stores, Walmart. Comes in a round wound circle. Easy to tie a knot after each pearl, if necessary.

Also, easy to use a cap bead, over tied knot, crimp, when adding closure.
