42 is the answer to the ultimate question about life, the universe, and everything. 😁
Ehh how about 69 😂
incorrect. its the answer, but the question was a different one
Yep - for reference is from the famous book "A hitchhikers guide to the galaxy"
Thanks for all the fish
@@jannisan Yeah, it was basically "what's nine times six" which they said explained why the world was so messed up.
42 is a reference to Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
The meaning of life, as determined by the supercomputer Deep Thought, was 42.
Never read the book or watched the movie and even i knew that...
The joke is we don't know what 42 is the answer to.
It was the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything that a race of superintelligent pan-dimensional beings had programmed the supercomputer to answer. But when the answer came back millions of years later back, as 42, they realised they never knew what the actual question was. So they built another supercomputer to find the ultimate question. And that supercomputer is Earth.

Ok but... why?
~Maybe why isn't the right question I wanted to ask, what I want to ask is why is the card like that, like yeah 42 but other than the number(and maybe the flavor text) there's nothing on that card that makes the reference, and just to be clear, I'm not doubting this is the reference, I'm just saying that the art of the card should've been something else idk...
@@Cuestrupaster Actually its a programmer joke. 42 in ASCII is the asterisk, which is used as a representation of everything. In databases, it refers to every entity.
Likely this is what Hitchhiker was referencing, and most people reference Hitchhikers. Granted... the opposite could be true.
Turn 1: 1 mana 3/3 into two 0 mana Orbital halo for a 7/5 divine shield.
Isn't it will just silence itself after the 1st buff?
@@Skrek-qw1jz coin. 🤯
😈
Coin into double orbital halo for a 9/6 @@just-yellow
Sounds broken for old Hearthstone standards, but honestly not that absurd for us now
That card is mainly here for the flavor/theme. I mean, how can you have a space themed expansion and not have a Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy reference?
Its up there with Star Wars, Star Trek , Doctor Who and Spaceballs
In the hitchiker's guide to the galaxy the answer to life death and everything is 42
i think it's life, the universe and everything
Ok, but whats the question?
@qwerty11111122 what's the meaning of life, the universe and everything
@@fankrys you're right
wrong
*Hitchhikers Guide book spoiler* (hilarious book btw)
In the book, It took a super computer that was the size of a city 7 1/2 million years to come up with the answer to "To Everything? To the great Question of Life, the Universe and Everything?"
The answer was 42.
Earth was then created as a super computer to figure out the questing to the answer, something like that
42 is usually a Hitchhiker’s guide to the Galaxy reference.
Who is the genius that decided to print Lightspeed when Radiant elemental still exists 😂
Oh my god anchorite is exactly what i wanted from overheal, also crazy in inner fire otk priest
theres no way theyd ban a card from wild on release. i think radiant is going to not less than 1, cause it really has to anyway
42?
This is an answer to all our prayers.
HS finally fixed! ;)
It doesn't say set your Hero's *max* health to 42, so presumably you instantly go to 42 health and that also becomes your total? Meaning that if your opponent has 30 health and you have 12, you can instantly go from 12 to 42. Correct?
Yes. It will simply put you to 42 health. Just like the old Priest Quest Reward that put you at 40.
I think to’cha is going to be a lot less of a meme than people think it will be. I don’t think it’s unrealistic at all to be near 12 health vs a 30 health aggro deck and then get a huge 4 mana healing turn.
@@imaforceanature7297 The issue with it is consistency.
Being "Near" 12 health vs a 30 health aggro deck isn't good enough. You HAVE to have specific health totals for it to work.
Not to mention, what if your opponent is a Warlock and has damaged themselves? What about Handbuff pally simply killing you while you're at 20 health? What about decks that have weapons they use to remove your stuff?
There's a lot of scenarios that can simply make the card literally not work. If it works it can be powerful, it's just a big IF.
Lightspeed effectively has echo, pretty much guaranteed to be atleast 1 mana when it's the repeatable version
"Repeatable this turn" is explicitly exempt from the nerf to Echo where copies cost minimum of 1.
Which they've continued to have be the case, to the point where they had to change Unstable Evolution into being Echo simply because of this rather than just apply the same rule to "Repeatable this turn" cards.
Hopefully, the fix to this wild problem will be the nerf of radiant elemental. Not from 2 to 4, as they did with sorcerer's apprentice, but give it the same treatment of "your spells cost 1 less, but not less than 1."
With Lightspeed, Radiant Elemental is going to be just like Sorcerer's Apprentice, as it should be.
9:00 - actually "repeatable this turn" was also tweaked and has the same limitation as "Echo"
Mark my words the Deck will be called To'cha Priest and it will be bonkers!
42 is a hitchhikers guide to the galaxy reference.
It's gonna be hard to pull of but if you do it's better than the priest Quest reward
Sound the bells crying at light speed
42 I KNEW IT......but, what was the question again?
skip Yapper Zeddy button: 0:57
thank god 🙏🙏🙏
Skipperino Zedderino right here
Halo art is sick
9:10 I kinda hope they actually nerf Radiant… it’s not fun to play against it. I don’t mind “infinite combos”, but radiant priest dies it waaay too early.
Askara, double Anchorite, double Circle of Healing...
I can believe they might actually see the issue that last card could cause, but I wouldn't be surprised if the fix somehow gets forgotten (or just doesn't work) when it goes live.
it also introduces a "I must avoid our collective health stacking to 42" for the opponent
The art on all the cards so far has been so good
There will be problems if Echo does not become an evergreen keyword (repeatable this turn is not good)
The main usage case for To'cha is probably to get below the 42 total, then have some amount of a Heal package to get back up to that point, like if it's at 40, you can Hero Power and there you go. In that sense it's an excellent aggro counter, because you're probably losing health quickly there, and if you get this thing to trigger, the opponent's probably just Conceding.
I think Anchorite has potential in Wild, maybe Inner Fire Priest doesn't need it, and they'd have to run heals, but they COULD do it. I'd say it's a 2/5 at least, for that potential.
42 is the answer to the question hitchhikers guide in the Galaxy
Anchorite is my favorite card here. Hidden gems effectively give all your minions +2 health.
while 42 is the answer, the question certainly isn't "What's the meaning of life?" - take it from someone who actually read the book
I like the giveaway videos specially to hear the ‘make me go BROKE’ ngl it’s always funny
Isn't Repeatable this turn just echo though? So it can't cost less then 1 anyway.
Didn't they make it so echo cards couldn't be reduced to 0 back when Snip-Snap was destroying wild?
The art of this expansion so far doesnt disapoint
I think Mystified Tocha should be a Legendary. With two copies in the deck, I think they'll reliably be able to activate the effect except against the fastest aggro decks.
the "if you played an adjacent card..." could turned in to a named mechanic like outcast and finale.
Orbital Halo make Naga Priest good again in wild?
mystified to cha might become my favourite card ever, this set is setting up to be one of the best ever for me at least.
7:33 why doesnt this card have the keyword echo?
So they tell us that Priest as class is meaning of Hearthstone? Makes sense, when you remember that priest steals from opponent.
Mystified seems SO hard to pull off, but it would be so funny to achieve.
Everyone answering the question about 42, you got baited by Zeddy really well for comments XD
what's up with Blizzard forgetting their own keywords? why repeatable this turn instead of Echo ?
There's a huge difference between that and echo. Echo will not let you have a cards cost go to 0
@@jorgecabrera3694 since when ? it used to be like that when it came out. but no one really plays echo anymore so idk
There are amount of keywords that are “evergreen” like Tradable, battlecry, deathrattle.. Bliz said they wont use non-evergreen ones so new players dont have to “learn” keywords from previous expansions
@@Billusion7Since sn1p sn4p warlock
@Billusion7 it was because of Snip Snap. A magnetic legendary with echo that had didn't have that effect locked in stone yet. You would play two mechwarpers to get it to 0 mana and boom. Infinite attack potential. That's when Echo got nerfed to where anything with Echo had a 1 mana hard cap limit. Same thing happened with unstable evolution. It didn't have that cap until it was given the Echo nerf
so this is basically buffed reno with some complicated way of being reno on steroids
30hp x 30hp played Mystifiled To'cha your hero 42 enemy hero 18 ? This is????
anchorite seems good with geode for early tempo package
Love the Hitchhiker's reference :)
Two radiant elementals + boar into infinite lightspeed is basically a gg. I hope they make the repeatable spell make it cost not less than 1 mana
Why avoid the real problem, broken cards like elemental limits card creations.
@@IIIABDJIII There's 2 real problems.
1) Is the arbitrary decision to continually avoid putting the Echo nerf onto "Repeatable this turn" cards causing scenarios where they can be infinitely played for 0 mana to keep cropping up (Paladin has some OTK's with Holy Maki Roll for example)
2) Is Radiant Elemental having such a powerful mana cheat aura which can be amplified by Priest's access to many sources of copying minions.
Orbital priest will be crazy in miracle priest which is still a deck without radiant elemental i would argue
orbital halo could work in dragon priest tourist, most of the time you are having an explosive turn with mini dragons
There's an area 42 and that exact alien is from there. It's from destroy all humans
I'm guessing radiant is getting the change that sorcerer has gotten. To me that is the safest option to avoid such shenanigan-izing. Or maybe they fix is by completely removing priest 🙂
Mystified Tocha is unplayable, nobody is gonna run that
Radiant elemental is going to the farm
For the mystified to'cha, the ideal scenario I guess is your aggro opponent is at full hp and you're at 12. or you get yourself to 12 somehow with healing or self damage. It does cost 4 though so its tough
"Repeatable this turn" did devs forgot that they have specific keyword for that exact effect?
Yeah I don't like their policy on that either but apparently they think that it's confusing for new players to have so many keywords so on new cards they don't use keywords on one-offs like that. Of course you can always hover the card to get an explaination of the keyword but apparently they think new players won't bother.
There is a third option, they make Repeatable this turn work like echo
Lightspeed got to adjusted in wild.
Looks like cicigi was released in the wrong expansion
the 42 is the answer for all questions. Its from a movie/book. Aloso 42 is the answer for why exist live (or so)
Hitchiker's guide to the Galaxy
@@LuneDeCuivre yes that. to be fair i only know the german name of the film XD
42 is the atomic number for molybdenum. That’s gotta be the reference, nothing else 🙂
Anchorite is going to be abused if its not ban from wild. Have this minion with a Boar + 0 cost heal spells and funnel cake with the swap health with attack.
It doesn’t even say friendly minion. it just says minion. Nice knowing these cards
Lightspeed 2 mana OTK? Let's gonna get worried about it until they get nerfed or something...
i feel tocha is going to be strong, if u can meet the condition its a better reno and eventually ppl will find a way to consistently meet the condition
Not to mention priest could likely get multiple copies. People thing 12 and 30 but forget renethal and other effects may still be in play.
So the best is being at 2 and going up to 42.
Only legendary cards should be allowed to reduce cards to less than 1 and even then there should be a limit on how many do.
orbital halo seems like itd be a paladin card
42 factorial??
Orbital Halo has insane potenti al for aggro Priest 😂
Something. Something. Dark side
What they ácida love the hitchhikers Guide reference!!
Me healing my opponent to 12 health while I'm at 30 😈
I beat combo priests all day in wild. Shadow priest tho os about 50 50 and they don't run the radianr
1 Mana 3/3 with a negativ that can BE buffed to a 5/4 div shild No downside 🤔 Sounds fair
Anchorite is bad only push your overheal minions out of reach pretty useless when the goal is to trigger the overheal ...
It only pushes them out of reach if they take damage though.
Even then, if they take so much damage that this extra health you gave them starts to be a factor, then without it they would simply be dead.
I wanted to comment the answer to the 42 references but I see a lot of people did it already :))
I am a only priest player and I hate the overhealed mechanic
Turn one 7/5 divine shield 💀
Wow orbital halo is broken asf. +2 attack and divine shield on a minion for free with a super easy conidition? Every priest deck wants this that’s not control
Meta gaming around not hitting 42 is hilarious
It's 'play around Defile' on a whole new level. Gonna get that brain workin'.
Thanks for the update :)
I rarely buy any packs.. I only do it with gold and just play battlegrounds
Anchorite OP as F
the meaning of life
its annoying how priest always gets this weird, niche, useless epic cards each expansion, its like they don’t know what to do and just make the first thing that come in their mind and give it to priest
I love To'cha
i never really won a raffle before but i guess it would be nice to win even for once
42
Priest carda are kinda... Underwhelming
What's the truth/answer of the universe? 42
IDK where this is from, I just remember the quote
Waited for more reveals to form an opinion. This set is lame.
In wild 0 mana buff your cheap pirates. It's broken. Or that other dumb deck that does the same thing with damage spells/damage self spells.
Repeatable this turn... dear god... it's bad enough for just ONCE!
AND PLEASE JUST NERF THAT PRIEST IT'S ANNOYING AND STUPID.

It's statements like "make me go broke" that will cause people to NEVER subscribe to your channel.
I would rather "make you go broke" by bleeding you out, than subscribing to your channel.
