- In this video, I talk about what to be aware of when seeking out and looking for a Ph.D. program to go into. I also focus on the mental health aspect of graduate studies as well as things you can do to make your experience great! Let me know if you have any questions.
Yesss. U uploaded !
Since the beginning of this year I have been heavily interested in eventually pursuing a P.H.D. program. As of now I am a returning adult in college however, before you know it grad school will be right around the corner.
On a more serious note: You said something I have not noticed anyone else has said about giving advice about P.H.D. programs.
It was when you mentioned that your advisors can really have a serious impact on your higher educational programs.
Another thing I loved about this discussion is bringing up having a life outside of school.
Though I am only at community college as of now.
It was so difficult for me to just live and survive taking 19 credit hours back to back per semester. I always felt so alone that I did not do anything but school. Though I was passioniate, this significantly hindered my writing skills, and processing abilities.
I notice that coming back into college and only being hypered focused on school, but not engaging in other activities. Then I would slip back into older habits.
Your message in this video and several others have resonated with me well, and is very relatable but different in a sense.
Going to school is the easiest thing you will ever do. Someone told me that when I was in college. It was only after I started working full time did, I realize how true that was. Thank you for the video sir.
Im not sure that’s true. I have worked full time at many jobs and have always enjoyed my life more when I am working.
Woups! For a split second i thought i read about "what to respect"...
