I have a clear ION dyed red. I turned out great, but the red does scuff the Mint / Pearl balls with red marks. So far the red dye is holding its color very nicely after five months.
The red ones are so sick!

My ion didn’t change color at all with rit dye so I copped some of this laxdye I’ll see how it works

Is it a safe assumption thar the dna2 will turn off-white/yellowish like the dna and weaponX over time?
Yes that yellow color is nasty
We did do some work to improve that in this model by adding more UV blockers. We are still trying to figure out why that happens seems to be a very unique property of this specific plastic.
two questions, dying a head will not void the warranty is what you said? and how do you remove the medallion when dying the ion

Is this dye better than Rit Dye for the Ion?
I used rit's dye for the ion and it turned out good I just had to leave the head in for about 15 mins to get the color I wanted
This is definitely better. Some RIT colors work okay, but most don't
My rit dye didn’t work at all so I bought some of this dye I’ll let you know how it worked as soon as it gets shipped

Question- has anyone used that new LAXdip in the “warm colors”? Only asking because I’d love something that doesn’t have to be built up like Rit Dyemore does. If I can get a red right off the bat, that would be awesome.

I meant to add - for the DNA. Ive been dying them for years and anytime I need to get a warm color it is not easy

Does the pro series dye still work well on non flex form and diamond heads? Or should I get the original lax dip dye not the pro version for those heads?

How long does it take to design a head
Does the medallion and/or ball stop on the DNA 2.0 need to be removed before dying if the whole head will be dyed?
you can get the ballstop off with a hair dryer and you shouldn’t have to worry about the medallion
Where did you get that tub for dyeing. I couldn’t find one big enough

Do you mean normal dye as in rit dye?
Always wanted to see how heads are dyed with patterns, like the Maryland flag, Stars and Stripes, etc.
We used to do a ton of Maryland flags!
Pro tip, wash you head with dish soap to remove any grease that may be on it. You get a much more consistent color

@@Airsoft_Ninja you sound like you’ve done this before but do you need to take off the ball stop or not? Also if it’s a new head do you need to wipe it with wipes or soap
@@AJ-jn8sy no ive never done it before. i just know from general knowledge that alcohol wipes remove grease and oils very effectively. so i would therefore assume it would remove grease and oils from a head as well. althought it may be slow, you could theoretically dunk the whole head in alcohol but i dont know if it would take the oils off as well as you would if you wiped it
