DUDE I FELL YOU... I lived in india till 8 and i had a very strong indian accent to my english.. so now when i talk with my mom my indian accent comes out and with my friends its different..
Accent code-switching is super normal, I've only been in Ireland a year and I already use a different accent here than with my English family at home. I've always been an accent sponge so it happened quickly and naturally. It's even more pronounced in people who are bilingual or have lived between cultures/countries since they were young.
I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one with two accents. I'm Indian but grew up watching a heck lot of British shows, and my dad works here in London but he still has the Indian accent. Anyway, I ended up having a British+Indian accent and a purely British accent. I love to confuse my relatives and friends in India lol
i relate to the accent situation on a personal level. i grew up speaking indian english with my parents so i just revert to that accent every time i speak with them now 😭
I really like that you have two accents and own them. 🤩😍❤️👍 I grew up talking with different accents as an immigrant, but I didn’t had have the courage to speak differently from what was/is expected from me. You really inspired me, thank you. ❤️😘
Love BOTH accents and the perm, but I've always watched ur videos and wished you would talk in just the indian accent 😭😭😭😭 it's so beautiful and like and ear massage 💖 love you gurls 🎉
As someone with a Desi father and American mother I can tell you I have 2 accents as well. Here in the states it's one way and then when I'm visiting my other side of the family it totally shifts. Or when I'm talking to a sign from back home. Also sometimes it's just a weird merge between the 2 simultaneously
I randomly came across this short and when you changed accents at the end I laughed because I got so used to Indian peeps with British accents when I lived in the UK it would never occur to me that it wasn't your natural accent 😂

Its nuts.
Yesssssss i love the sound of Indian-accented English ❤ that perm looks cute asf on you though!! Did it smell absolutely god awful? That’s one of the things I’ve been told about perms in peoples’ quest to talk me out of wanting one
People are just Debbie downers, get the oerm if you want to. I got one like 15 20 years ago and hated it, but I think it was the too small rollers and too short of hair that made me hate it.
I am trying to bring back my country (Appalachian) accent, it’s crazy how our accents are like hidden layers we don’t realize we cover up, and that we can also highlight
I have 2 accents too. I have the one I use with my mum's side of the family which is just a Doncaster accent, but super thick and hard to understand. And then a mix of my dad's accent and other ones that I've picked up from an online group I've grown with. There's Spanish, other English, Swedish Dutch, German. And it took me to talk to my mum on call to realise that it's just so I'm understood and people aren't constantly asking me to repete myself and speak up T-T
if your hair is damaged it won’t take to the perm as well.. i know from experience.. my blonde pieces were pin straight while the rest of my hair was curly😭
My husband and I have the same story. We both speak English, French, and Mandarin. We both have developed different accents and attitude depending which language we speak. And for English we both have our Canadian accent and our international accent. They just happened because the languages and situations were so compartmentalized.

DUDE I FELL YOU... I lived in india till 8 and i had a very strong indian accent to my english.. so now when i talk with my mom my indian accent comes out and with my friends its different..
Your Indian accent is so cute, I can’t wait to see more of it ❤
your indian accent is literally so beautiful, your so pretty and i’m so happy us indians have positive representation because of you so thank you ❤️
YOU LOOK SO GOOD
Accent code-switching is super normal, I've only been in Ireland a year and I already use a different accent here than with my English family at home. I've always been an accent sponge so it happened quickly and naturally. It's even more pronounced in people who are bilingual or have lived between cultures/countries since they were young.
the accent is so cute!!!!!😭
I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one with two accents. I'm Indian but grew up watching a heck lot of British shows, and my dad works here in London but he still has the Indian accent. Anyway, I ended up having a British+Indian accent and a purely British accent. I love to confuse my relatives and friends in India lol
the accent sounds so cute❤️
i relate to the accent situation on a personal level. i grew up speaking indian english with my parents so i just revert to that accent every time i speak with them now 😭
NOOO YOUR HAIRRRR. It looks so dead and dry. 😕 how did the stylist let you leave like that?? Get your money back because this is practically a SCAM. 😭
I love you Indian accent 🙌 Om Hiranya 🌺
If you can switch between the 2 accents then you don’t have two accents. Girl, just stop already. Coming from someone who is multilingual.
as someone with two accents who sometimes wonders whether i'm faking or not, this representation was needed
love seeing more marathi influencers 🫶🏽
FIRST!! U SLAY!!
UR ACCENT IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS
AHHHHHHHHH
Bro you're Indian let it go
i love your original accent it’s beautiful!!
I really like that you have two accents and own them. 🤩😍❤️👍
I grew up talking with different accents as an immigrant, but I didn’t had have the courage to speak differently from what was/is expected from me. You really inspired me, thank you. ❤️😘
Love BOTH accents and the perm, but I've always watched ur videos and wished you would talk in just the indian accent 😭😭😭😭 it's so beautiful and like and ear massage 💖 love you gurls 🎉
You're gorgeous! And I love the Indian accent😁
As someone with a Desi father and American mother I can tell you I have 2 accents as well. Here in the states it's one way and then when I'm visiting my other side of the family it totally shifts. Or when I'm talking to a sign from back home. Also sometimes it's just a weird merge between the 2 simultaneously
Girlll....I wasn't even a little confused when you talked in Indian accent....I noticed thoroughly tho....love it....keep em coming❤
I randomly came across this short and when you changed accents at the end I laughed because I got so used to Indian peeps with British accents when I lived in the UK it would never occur to me that it wasn't your natural accent 😂
If feel like your Indian accent makes you voice sound more mature it makes you sound older. Also I don’t care if this perm is the best perm ever or a giant flop you will always be gorgeous ❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing!! Your accents are beautiful!!
Coming full circle with your accent is so cute
That's actually exactly how learning English worked for me! I immigrated to the US from Egypt. Rock that accent girl!👏🏼👏🏼
girll i got a perm too and i gotta say you absolutely rock it 🫶🔥 but don’t worry because over time the curl patter will define itself and the volume will go down 😂
Literally I love your Indian accent for some reason Indian people always sound happy when talking in English with their accent
I’m glad you now feel comfortable with both accents!
IT'S SO CUTE, THE ACCENT AND THE PERM
Gorgeous and love all the accents ❤❤❤
It's so good to see you being confident to speak in Indian accent! Lots of love to you!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
Beautiful accent ❤❤❤ I hope you love your new curls!!
Your Indian accent is so beautiful! 💜
I wish parents wouldn't do that bc its shitty for everyone involved- the student, parents, and the teacher. My friend is learning spanish to help a new student who ONLY speaks spanish, and its horrible bc who the hell as time to learn enough of another language to TEACH a child, while handling a full load of coursework for teaching 26 other kids?? Its nuts.
Both of your accents are beautiful!
The two accents is fascinating but it makes total sense.
❤ both accents sounds gorgeous, fresh and crisp ❤
The Indian accent is so beautiful😊 love it!
It… looks damaged 😭 please be careful and watch out for breakage.
Girl, you are feeling confident enough to speak in your real voice and real accent. That’s growth right there. ♥️
Indian accents are literally my favourite they're so gorgeous
Have to say that the accent is awesome, I love it!!
The accent is beautiful.🌸🌸
My husband and I have the same story. We both speak English, French, and Mandarin. We both have developed different accents and attitude depending which language we speak. And for English we both have our Canadian accent and our international accent. They just happened because the languages and situations were so compartmentalized.
HELP I RELATE TO THIS SO MUCH SINCE IM THE ONLY ONE IN MY FAMILY WITH CURLY HAIR 😭
Ahh that explains the accents, thank you for explaining babes 😊 ps wasn’t being rude when I commented before was just wondering why your accent changed x
I JUST WANNA SAY UR SO BEAUTIFUL I LITERALLY LOVE UR CHANNEL SO MUCH!!! (😨 i think I'm the 100th comment)
As a hairstylist daughter, girl that perm was so poorly done, get your money back
Love your accent, don't change it!❤
perm over any dyed hair is a no go 😢 i’m so sorry they did you like that
You can perm colored hair 🙄
@@tianamarie989 it’s not recommended unless you want it to fry. especially since she’s used bleach on her hair multiple times.
ACV is actually good for you not just your hair! I take it in pill form and soak my locs every 8-12 months with it 10/10 good for you
I need that fitttttt please provide a link, bestie
Love the accent. Your hair is fine girl xx most of the hypocrites in the comments have been through much worse with their hair. Myself included!
It looks FINE you’ll be FINE! 😊
I like straight hair on you better tbh, but your still so beautiful❤
