Amazing, very touching and distinctive interpretation. Prohaska knows how to convey the "right" emotions in each word and note. I found this rendition of Schubert's song almost heartbreaking (and vocally angelical, but also very humane).

It's such a shame that this album is only available in a few German-speaking countries and for a quite high price. Recently I saw there's a release on Spotify from this album of the song "In des Sees Wogenspiele" which is just as beautiful as this Lied is. Please DG, don't do this to us!

das video ist kitschtig, dient wohl Promotionzwecken - aber diese Stimme !! Seit der Callas nichts vergleichbares gehört und dass bei der Konkurrenz die es zur Zeit gibt.

Wenn ich geile Musik hoeren willl, klicke ich Stevie Nicks an, mit ''Talk to me'', verstehe auch fast nichts, ich weiss nur worum es geht, irgendwas mit love. Frau Prohaska liefert gut ab, Bein ist auch fein, aber wer will dass wirklich hoeren, und wer nur sehen(?) will, geht auf einen anderen Beinkanal..
Das Video hat mit dem Text (und eigentlich auch mit der Musik) ungefähr so viel zu tun, wie wenn man zu Rammsteins "Mutter" eine entspannte Frau sehen würde, die mit einem Kind spielt. Da sagt der Marketingmensch vielleicht: "Na, geht doch irgendwie um 'ne Mutter." Und hier hat er gesagt: "Na, geht doch irgendwie um so'n Paar und klingt so traurig. Die sterben bestimmt dann und die Frau ist bestimmt eine Sirene..." Ja, sehr schöne Stimme, aber ich bin wohl nicht die Zielgruppe... *facepalm*
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. There is no absolute 'ugliness' and absolute 'beauty' - clearly many people disagree with you, as do I. If you haven't grasped this fundamental concept of personal taste and beauty/ugliness, you may not be very intelligent, but I can only hope you can, some day, preferably before your very own exterior decay sets in, see the light and escape this superficiality.

I like the concept very much, I mean the persons behind this video know their work, the soprano is a great interpreter, but not a great voice... She IS a good singer, unfortunately after the third minute her voice is just nuisance, unfair nature! I would like to know instead who is the pianist, fantastic!
