Unironically, this would be sick in the base game. Cool concept and some genuinely fun upgrades. I feel like he could fill a decent niche as a cheap, catch-all striker, similar to Ninja and Boomerang but trading damage output for type coverage.

A few seconds before seeing this upgrade, I was thinking, hm technically it's a monkey twisted fate, only the color cards are missing
I mean, this mod is pretty impressive, it has art, cross paths, full upgrades, and pretty interesting concepts. Maybe it could actually make it into the game some day.

The mud 5th tier upgrade for the card monkey looks like a glaive lord with the spade shape logo on top of its cloak. It's looks pretty cool ngl since most of the modded towers appearance just have their color changed instead of add something new on their avatars.

When not attacking, monkey stacks cards overtime for powerful blows and it has a card addition limit

Stacking the deck is a term which means cheating by putting certain cards sticking out in order to find them in the deck when you shouldn't have any knowledge of where they are, so literally stacking cards wouldn't be fitting

I think the robot voice he used to use was more tonal. ISAB has two tones: "I just big-brained a solution" and "every word spoken that is just flat commentary on what is going on"

nah I think it is actually inspired in the champion "Fiddlesticks" from the popular MOBA PC and mobile game League of Legends.

i think a tarot card path would be hella cool, like a random ability that activates a different effect depending on what you draw (ex: Strength buffs the three nearest monkeys, The Moon slows all bloons down partially)

Honestly an uno path would work. Starting at teir three 3: UNO: throws cards that can deal between 1-7 damage 2: ACTION: now has a chance to throw a reverse (Bloons go backwards) a block (bloons get stunned) a +2 (double damage against bloons this hits) or a +4 (x4 damage aga8nst bloons this hits) and teir 5: Stacking: higher chance to throw +cards and if a plus hits a bloons the damage multipliers can stack, effectively making it a BAD destroyer. It’d be a large game if chance but that’s what to expect from cards. Honestly would be a really cool upgrade path
a pretty cool concept but I wish it had more luck-stuff involved like Twist of Fate to fit the card theme more, something like pulling different cards for different effects seems super cool and I wish it was available earlier

Beat my first game of CHIMPS yesterday. Thanks to village discounts, I was able to save up enough to almost straight up buy a 300 Super, but round 63 was a little too strong for my current defense, and I was ~1000 short, so I has to settle for the 220 part way through that round before getting 320 a few rounds later. That Super, being buffed by a 420 Alchemist and 032 and 500 villages, along with a 520 Wizard carried that run in the later rounds.

Btw I am kinda new to UA-cam to be completely honest, my brother suggested it and I do play bloons in my spare time, so I searched bloons td 6, and found ISAB, and have been watching ever since like 4 months ago

I think with just one or two tweaks it could be really strong mainly card explodes on contact with balloons instead of when pierce runs out
the card monkey is meant to be a template for making custom towers, the fact that it’s so fleshed out is just awesome
I just thought of something i think would be really cool! So basically people could make challenges and put in money or prizes from their own inventory like monkey money for the first person to complete the challenge or there could be like 3 winners with higher ranking better prizes. UA-camrs could create these challenges, i think it would really unite the community even more with people like sharing strategies and so on ;)
I'm an idiot, this would just be a way for people to give away infinite monkey money, hackers could create super easy challenges with 10k+ monkey money as prize. But i still think it would be awesome if youtubers could do this, with verified accounts or something.
The creator put a lot of effort in with the custom projectile, giving each T5 an unique look and having a consistent theme for the upgrades, which do make sense for what they do
Twist of Fate really needs a big buff, though. The damage is really low for the cost and the RTG effect really doesn't do nearly as much that late into the game. Stunning bloons is nice, but that's not worth that much money. It basically just combines a Bloon Impact with a RTG Alch, but that's only like 12k cash's worth of tower.
It really either needs to deal more damage, have stronger utility (Like stunning blimps or slowing them like a bottom path Super Monkey) or cost like 20k less.
I also don't think that the cards exploding at the end of its lifespan works out too well. Exploding on impact would certainly be preferrable.
Tower mods are just getting better and better,this one has to be the best one I've seen so far.

I love how all the top path upgrades are all named after hands in poker and actually correlate, Ace High (while Aces are the most powerful card in poker and are often a 14, they can function as a 1 in the lowest Straight), the default shot I assume, does 1 damage with 1 card, Pair/Ace Pair has two cards deal 1 damage each, Three Of A Kind has 3 cards do 1 damage each, Straight Flush has 5 cards that increase in damage by one, making it more than a Flush and a Straight, and the Royal Flush is similar to a Straight Flush, but with the highest value cards, being 10, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace, which are ranked 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14

It is like that probably, i think is a reference to Twisted Fate (League of Legends character) that also uses cards (Gold/Yellow, Red/Sword and Blue/Mana card)
Gold one stuns an enemy
Red one does Area of Damage and slows
Blue one gives [Mana wasted] + Some mana

@@NephilPereyra its probably like that because - Red card - Explodes dealing area damage, it makes sense for AOE in BTD6, Yellow card just stuns like in LoL, and Blue Card gives money, a resource in BTD6, while it gives mana in LoL, a resource there, and there is no Mana in this game and money makes more sense as Twisted Fate-s passive in LoL is that he gains 1 to 6 bonus gold from killing things, so that was the next closest thing
Out of all the tower mods you’ve show cased I feel like this one should be in the game more than any other one
This gives "Card Battles" a whole new meaning.
Edit: The tower I expected to have the worst mod is now my favorite mod tower.
I could easily see the card monkey being a magic type monkey, since card magic is so well-known
I feel like this tower is a missed opportunity for some more interesting magician-y upgrades instead of just being about how powerful the cards are, its a bit bland for the amount of potential it has.
The fact that it’s not fully released yet is impressive, excited for the future of this mod
I was actually thinking about this a few days ago that’s so wowzers lols.
To clarify for anyone else who didn't understand what ISAB said for bottom path tier 5, Twisted Fate is a pirate-ish character whose main gimmick revolves around his cards and their magical properties. Able to draw red explosive cards, yellow stun cards and blue mana-regen cards; the translation to an explosion, stun and money is a pretty good translation for the effect and I personally love the tier five upgrade.
Paragon: Expert Shuffler: Shoots EXTREMELY fast, with insane damage and extra money from bloons, as well as stun.
I’d love this in the main game. All paths are really neat and with some tweaking could be a really cool tower. I’d say straight aways are it’s strong suit and it is an all around attacker. Having the rtg on the bottom path tier 5 as a money method is cool too. With a bottom path buff and having camo on all cards with bottom path upgrade would make this a very usable tower. 10/10, love the showcase too!
imo needs to be more random for example your cards can roll a 2 dmg card or a king (13) dmg card. also i was thinking of a rock paper scissors system where certain types of cards do better to different bloons then others like a 4 of hearts will do 4/3 dmg to a regrow bloons and de regrow them but will to 2/3 dmg to everything else, something like that. in general i just love this tower concept
I have no evidence of this, and I'm perfectly accepting that someone came up with this before me, but I came up with this tower. (with the exception of the first 2 tiers and minor changes here and there) and I guess somebody did something with it.
(The original concept is in the last btdb livestream on the ninjakiwi channel, probably hidden under thousands of comments.)
I don't mind that this was created, and I'm not even gonna try to take it down in any way. Mostly because it's a mod and not official. But also because it's not like I was ever gonna make it. I barely even have any coding experience!
I honestly think that this is a really cool tower, and glad to see one of my concepts make it into a mod, even if through someone else who barely even knows me if at all.
I should also mention that this was only one of the paths, and can be very different from this tower.
I'm not saying that they just stole this thing from me, but they hopefully got this idea from me.

Would be even cooler of a mod if one path went towards blackjack/card dealer themes, one towards a yugioh/pokemon vibe, and the last one a magician with his card tricks. One being about dealing quick and thus a speedier tower with a lot of cards, the second being more about powerful cards and even throwing in some elemental damage or fantasy effects due to the cards' nature, and the last being more of a utility path, perhaps with the ability to reveal camo and stun bloons.
All jokes aside, I like the look of Twist of fate. The black Kiley hat, green suit and the watch’s or wristbands on his wrists look nice to me.

This mod seems really good and it may be nerfed or buffed but when it comes out it seems like it will be a really cool mod
The last upgrade on tier 3 is a refrence to leauge of legends cinematic tiwst of fate, and champion twisted fate which thorws cards, really cool. Btw twisted fates yellow card stunes, blue gives him mana, and red aoe damage, so its the same in here.

I have a mod idea:
Monkey Cook.
Top Path. The load.
Upgrade 1. Large plates. Monkey Cooks range increases.
Upgrade 2. Load Of Bananas! Monkey Cook throws bananas at monkeys in its range giving a 2% damage buff and a 5% pierce buff.
Upgrade 3. The Platter. The range increases. The bananas give 4% damage buff and 7% pierce buff.
Upgrade 4. Banana & Berries. Speed of giving food is increased. The berries give 2% speed buff.
Upgrade 5. The feast. All monkeys in range get a 5% pierce buff 10% damage buff and 7% speed buff.
Middle Path. The peels.
Upgrade 1. Oh Peels! Monkey Cook throws peels on the track stopping bloons.
Upgrade 2. Peel me up. Monkey cook throws out another peel now making the bloons sticky (glued) from the condensation on the peels.
Upgrade 3. Fast peeling. Monkey cook throws out peels faster and another peel is added.
Upgrade 4. Mega peels. Monkey Cook can drop peels that can stick MOAB class bloons. (Expect DDT’s)
Upgrade 5. Sun Gods banana offering. Monkey Cook throws 3 peels now. Can hit DDT’s now.
Bottom path. The Deals.
Upgrade 1. Farmers helper. Monkey Cooks near a Farmer Monkey and that is farming banana farms gain a 5 money bonus.
Upgrade 2. The Marketplace. Monkey Cook now gives 5 extra money to Central and normal Marketplaces. Range increases dramatically.
Upgrade 3. Friendly Farms. Farms now gain a extra 2 money bonus. Range increases a bit.
Upgrade 4. Banana mine. Banana research facility now has a 10 money bonus.
Upgrade 5. Bloonana. Monkey cooks in range of bloons turn the bloons into banana filled bloons giving 1 money per pop.
It’s pretty a support or magic monkey.

When you showcase tower mods, my greatest hope is to see a tower like this.
Card Monkey is quality work & he fits in so well, exciting to see three paths like other BTD6 towers!
The crosspath called "Twist of fate" was a reference to league of legends character called Twisted Fate and one of his abilities :)
So this is where he went after Graves joined the sentinels

i feel like he should be considered magic, there is not to much magic towers (can't imagine it being support) and it could bring more spice to the upgrades, like a card that makes a randon magic effect (small fireball, aoe glue, ice exploion etc)
Other tower mods that add tower that make sense: Lol its trash unbalanced, either no tiers, one path, or no crosspaths.
this mod: Balancing involved, crosspaths, different skins for different tiers, good art, etc.
I hope this makes it into the game it is well balanced and is a good idea

If this was to be added I would want the model to be something along the lines of a monkey with a curly black moustache, suit, and a to hat with a red ribbon with a few cards stuck in it.
People need to find out how to mod in custom paragons for their custom towers.
