Saban only beat Ryan day and the buckeyes because they had a wr devonte smith that was way to fast for the OSU defenders to keep up nobody could stop him he did it all!!! It wasn't a coach battle it was just a simple battle for bama that year. Now OSU has the wr that is hard to stop so no matter what Saban tells him ain't going to work!! It will be all about how Texas decides to play because they also have a team that can do damage at any moment. But Saban was lucky when he played vs day he had one player nobody could stop, those wins had nothing to do with coaching it was the talent.
Was there a memo sent out by Sanke that said all the coaches were required to spew the “SEC is the premier conference” bs? There isn’t a single coach in that conference that passes up an opportunity to run their mouths about it.
I don't know why they hold these pressers. The questions are pretty much the same as during the season. The coach speak is to be expected. Rinse and repeat.
i think it’s more so for just for updates such as injuries and player availability. But yeah majority of times it’s the same copy and paste answers. Also think they try their best to get a coach to slip up and give bulletin board material
The Cotton Bowl is over 200 miles away from Austin. That’s like driving from Columbus OH to Dearborn MI. The DFW metroplex hosts SMU and TCU, and they pass Baylor University halfway. Also OU plays in Dallas every year. So, first, it’s not exactly the home game you’re imagining. Also if you can’t understand how Texas has won the requisite games to be in the Final 4 then I can’t help you much further.
What do you mean you can’t understand. They know years ahead where the playoffs outside the first rd are played lol. We already know where they are next year. As for the first home game, Texas earned that being second in the sec. Just like Penn st for example did as well
@@drew318 I think its the dumb questions that say "How will you ever defend those receivers, why haven't you forfeited already." You'd think the media that covers the other team would ask questions centered on the Texas team. A lot of these media types (probably fan blogs) seemed to want confirmation that OSU is some kind of unbeatable juggernaut. Sark has snark for that.
I love how dude said “WAS NOT” targeting.. Buddy that's clearly a bias comment or he don't watch literally any other football games with said targeting.. If ASU was the ones who gave the hit refs would've not reversed the call or if they did all of Texas would be crying
Like Kirby did in 2022. Texas was favored in every game this year. This is his first chance to play that card. If you watched Sark's pressers regularly you'd know he was pissed at some of these questions that basically inferred "your team has no chance."
@@travisshuttleworth630 he sounded snarky and sarcastic to me. I'm obviously a Texas fan, don't watch Day except on gamedays. Against Oregon in the regular season. Against Nebraska. Against Penn State. Didn't see confidence in that face and body language. Read into it what you want.
@@HarpKen84 yeah I think you're right. We, as fans, perceive body language and coach speak the way we want it to be. The game did not need to go to OT. If referee called the targeting whn ASU CB hit the Bond's chin at the INT, the game was over much earlier. ASU fans, get over and focus on getting next Cam.
@@HarpKen84 yeah ok. Nobody knows what you're talking about about, but the hit on ASU defenseless receiver is a blown call for the ages. Just bring more money to the next game bc refs are gonna bid up the bribes.
I hope Ohio state wins it all!!! Show the SEC that they are not the dominant conference anymore DO IT FOR THE B1G BUCKEYES from a Oregon fan 💚🦆💛
We won't let the B1G down! We got this 💪
Buckeye fan here, love this the Ducks have a stand-up fan base! I look forward to this rivalry every year going forward! B1G ❤🔥

Your right, another home game
lolol he had a question from Jeremiah Smith lol thats hilarious
Timestamp?
I think that was actually someone who just happened to share the same name
Was there really a reporter whose name is Jeremiah Smith? 🤣wtf? 6:25
Yeah lol
you just know Saban is feeding Sark info/tips/suggestions on how to beat Ohio State.

The South sucks so bad that they have to make themselves feel good somehow
Most likely
It's true. Look at draft picks, teams that have won the national championship, the size and speed of the players. SEC is clear #1.
Where exactly does it hurt?
@jamesjj-gb5tm notice how quick you are to bring up the past ain’t a damn thing about the SEC “premier” hell of a bowl season yall are having

There were a few of those.
What coach would do this kind of questioning?
Did Sark lighten his hair, or is it just the lights?

I bet youd see what I’m saying if the game was at Paycor stadium in Cincinnati.
Obviously Penn St-ND should be in the Cotton Bowl and OSU Texas should be in the Orange Bowl. Then both games would be at a truly neutral sight.
