“My job is my job” is more than just a mindset; it is backed up by scripture. So we’ve put together additional scriptures that will challenge you to shift your perspective on joy.
In order to guard your heart, you have to own your emotions.
Proverbs 4, verse 23: “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”
There are some decisions you can make in dry places that will lead you into a place of supernatural happiness.
Psalm 126: “When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dreamed. Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy. Restore our fortunes, Lord, like streams in the Negev. Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.”
God gave you a promise, but it’s your choice how you respond.
Psalm 118, verse 24: “This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.”
When you want to be more joyful, what do you need to believe to be it? Abraham believed and so became. If you want to be more joyful, maybe you need to believe joy doesn't come from circumstances.
Romans 4, verse 18: “Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, ‘So shall your offspring be.’”
You cannot choose joy; you can only choose your priorities, and your priorities control your joy.
Psalm 16, verse 5: “The Lord is my chosen portion and my cup; you hold my lot.”

It was my husband’s responsibility to not sexually abuse me for years an then leave me an our children an give NO money so we can’t eat well an lost our home!! My heart is not happy right now!! I’m severely traumatized an my children suffer from it! I was a happy healthy RN working an taking care of people an children an now I can’t stop the fear anxiety and depression 🙏🏻🥺👧🏼💔I’m not going to beat myself because I couldn’t protect my joy!!!!

Father God, you are the almighty God who can calm the storm. Father God, fear is not our future your word says to cast all of our anxiety onto you. Depression and anxiety will flee. Take it Father God, restore Theresa bless her children. Comfort them, they are in your hands. You are a way maker, miracle worker, promise keeper, you are the light in the darkness. In Jesus name we pray amen. 🤍🙏 keep on seeking God, and he will respond.

I have always kept faith and trust in you Lord Jesus. Even as I constantly struggle to provide groceries and basic necessities for my children both of my sons are autistic. Like most single parents things are hard on me. I’m constantly struggling to pay my rent struggling to buy groceries. I’m overwhelmed and now that I’m home schooling my sons, my hours to work are very limited. My health is also failing. I suffered a heart attack two years ago and battling lupus. Heavenly and merciful Father, I come in humble adoration please help me overcome my struggles. With Jesus everything is possible.
Holy Spirit finds me even when I'm trying to hide. God is so good. Undeserving yet grateful 🥲 the best mash up ever!!!

I need prayers please. My boyfriend has been battling mental issues for years but didn't think he needed help. Long story short, he ended up stealing a police car at 3am and doesn't remember much about that night. He was sober. He is now looking at prison time after 17 years of us being constantly together everyday and I feel lost.
