First Baptist Fort Lauderdale has a rich and inspiring story built around the “Jesus First life.” The story began in 1907 when a handful of people had a dream to help their friends know God and discover their purpose in life. They believed the church was more than a building you come to, it was designed to be a community that you belong to.

I have been struggling with giants in my marriage. Before getting out of bed this morning, in tears, I called out to the Holy Spirit to give me a verse, a message, anything to focus my thoughts and energy on today. I didn’t want to mindlessly go through my Bible searching so I went online and this was it. This is what the Holy Spirit gave me. I cried singing the worship songs and the message gave me a new view and outlook. Not easy, but I need to run towards the giants that are standing in my way. Help me, King Jesus, to see my calling and humbly and fervently move forward with what you have put in my bag to defeat the giant in front of me. You are faithful. You are great. You will never give me a life that will not need You in it. Thank You for loving me first. Thank You for bringing me to this message. Continue to bless these Pastors and the good works coming out of their churches, in Jesus name I pray.
I don't go to Elevation, but I enjoy sermons by Pastor Steven on UA-cam! Even better when it starts with one of my most favorite songs! Can't get enough!
