পৃথিবী জুড়ে ঘুরে বেড়িয়েছি কখনও গালওয়ের মেয়ের মতো কালো চুল এবং নীল চোখ দেখিনি..❤❤ Lyrics: Well, I took a stroll on the old long walk Of a day -I-ay-I-ay I met a little girl and we stopped to talk Of a fine soft day -I-ay-I-ay And I ask you, friend, what's a fella to do 'Cause her hair was black and her eyes were blue And I knew right then I'd be takin' a whirl 'Round the Salthill Prom with a Galway girl We were halfway there when the rain came down Of a day -I-ay-I-ay And she asked me up to her flat downtown Of a fine soft day -I-ay-I-ay And I ask you, friend, what's a fella to do 'Cause her hair was black and her eyes were blue So I took her hand and I gave her a twirl And I lost my heart to a Galway girl When I woke up I was all alone With a broken heart and a ticket home And I ask you now, tell me what would you do If her hair was black and her eyes were blue I've traveled around I've been all over this world Boys, I ain't never seen nothin' like a Galway girl
These songs join one another seamlessly. Such talent💥
He has done more for irish music than he'll ever know! God bless you Steve and your talent!
A lovely man with his lovely music.
One of the coolest songs ever I just live about 25 miles from there it's a legend up there
😂😂
This man was born in the wrong century, and we get to enjoy that anachronism.
Absolute Legend
I find it impossible to quit you.... (bloody feck'in brilliant)
this is pretty freaking awesome
A national treasure.
I remember him playing with the ol Dukes in Toronto...Played his Mandoblaster....wall to wall bikers...Hup!!!!!
Ŕaw and mesmerizing beautiful sounds.
Steve Earle looks like a walking mountain due to his lack of a neck and its very much awesome and fits his music.
Good version, enjoyed it, great guitar playing...

Lyrics:
Well, I took a stroll on the old long walk
Of a day -I-ay-I-ay
I met a little girl and we stopped to talk
Of a fine soft day -I-ay-I-ay
And I ask you, friend, what's a fella to do
'Cause her hair was black and her eyes were blue
And I knew right then I'd be takin' a whirl
'Round the Salthill Prom with a Galway girl
We were halfway there when the rain came down
Of a day -I-ay-I-ay
And she asked me up to her flat downtown
Of a fine soft day -I-ay-I-ay
And I ask you, friend, what's a fella to do
'Cause her hair was black and her eyes were blue
So I took her hand and I gave her a twirl
And I lost my heart to a Galway girl
When I woke up I was all alone
With a broken heart and a ticket home
And I ask you now, tell me what would you do
If her hair was black and her eyes were blue
I've traveled around I've been all over this world
Boys, I ain't never seen nothin' like a Galway girl
Is he in standard mandolin tuning?
yes, it only sounds strange because he is to lazy to play the first string and there is always the E ringing - in G major...
It sounds wretched. This would’ve been so much better on an acoustic guitar.
If you didnt know the lyrics to Copperhead Road...you would struggle to understand much of what Steve is singing here.
Some boy ald Steve, think he minds his grand daddy ?
