If the groom's side don't find the shoes,they have to pay some amount of money demanded by the bride's side and then get the shoes back . In this film, Madhuri's sister and Salman's brother are getting married...so these fun games are being played by them. Also, at the end of the song, Salman could have had the shoes back,but he let Madhuri have them.. because he fell for her..
