He said at the time he thought she was seriously gone but was glad nothing bad happened. There is another sequence in the movie where Kajol fell off a bicycle and literally suffered amnesia for 24hours. SRK even in that situation got everyone to prank her. She literally even forgot Ajay Devgn( her husband) I think they told her she was a background dancer, not a famous actress.
