I've listened to the several times now and I have just tell you a few things my name is Bonnie Foerster and I live in South Jordan Utah and I am 75 years old I had a life partner her name was Bev we were living together from January of 1968 until May 27th at 5:45 p.m. of 2018 until God took her home to become an angel we were the second couple in the state of Utah to get legally married after someone passed away I even made the local newspaper 50 years together was the banner of the paper even the local news the BBC News even the Washington Post online paper and it even went to Europe, she was the love of my life I have had two partners in my entire life I was married to a man shortly and then I found my soulmate. We both love your music Bev loved your music as much as I do I only wish you could have met you in person what an honor that would have been for her you're still in my bucket list I don't know if it'll ever happen. 3 years ago I became a double amputee above the knees, I am 4 time breast cancer survivor, and I am legally blind nothing has stopped me dead in my tracks but losing Bev. Now I hang out with bikers they accept me for who I am with no questions asked. I'm so glad that you are happy I have loved you ever since I heard your voice in the bar for I grew up in New York City and went to all the gay bars in the village I think you're absolutely phenomenal I can't find enough words to tell you how much I love you you're in my bucket list I know you've been to Salt Lake a few times but I have never been able to afford to go maybe one time maybe for my 76 birthday if you ever come back I can save my money and go you'll see me in the front row I'll be the cute one with no legs by the way I'm the old one two. I love you sweetheart good luck Melissa with your Korea and your beautiful amazing family I love you and those words come from my Bev to God bless you and God bless what you stand for. Bonnie Foerster, Hi there, Bonnie. I wanted to offer my condolences to you for the Loss of your life-long Love 💕 and Wife, Bev. I am so sorry for your Loss, hon. I do hope that you’ve taken enough time to grieve.
I’ve never lost a Lover, or a Domestic Partner to death before, that I know of. As a young, baby butch (😊), I was pretty wild. Had many, many serial monogamy girlfriends. Growing older and getting sober, settled me down, a little. I’ve had 4 great Loves in my life. Two were the kind that I managed to surrender and get lost in. Neither of those 2, were LTR.
The other 2 were both LTR. The first, we were together for 16 years. At the end, I consciously decided to take a full year away from the dating scene to sort out my life, going forward, and feeling my feelings about not having my DP anymore. Melissa Etheridge got me through that period of Loneliness and Loss.
My next LTR, was about Half the length of time I was with the first. She asked me to marry her, driving by the SF Courthouse, where there were crowds of same sex couples getting married, right there on the steps of that building. I thought, at the time, that she wasn’t serious. Now, I think that I may have declined her jokingly put offer, because she sounded derisive. I think she said it that way,...she was protecting her heart, iow.
Oh yeah,... I was also married to a man, before all the above. 2 years,...give or take.
I think that there might be a huge number of Older Women with similar stories to ours. Right. I’ll be turning 60, in a couple/few months.
Again, Bonnie, I’m so sorry for your Loss. And I hope that you’re doing okay, now. You’re probably still hurting, and I would be, too, if I were you. Thanks for reading this far, B.

Finally I hear from one of the greatest voices I have ever heard in my life and I am a music freak I love music of all kinds but Melissa came along in 1987 the first time I ever heard her we didn't have social media and the radio station I was listening to was almost hesitant to play her but they did and thank you for that Jesus and Melissa because I have been one of your biggest fans since then "Similar Features" and I fell in love with the song and rushed to the store immediately and bought the cassette tape yes I said cassette LOL this is one heck of a comeback song I've listened to the whole album I must say you are a treasure to the art of Music in all aspects your guitar strumming is flawless I absolutely love it even when the strings break alive and alone DVD you did had me on my feet in my living room the whole time weeping with joy!
