- In episode 1 we make a new start in Minecraft 1.20 single player survival let’s play, we get started in a brand new world, explore some of the new update and find a cherry blossom biome to build our starter house in!

This series is a vanilla Minecraft 1.20 let’s play in the Trails and Tales update where we play at a chill, cosy pace and build up this cherry blossom grove valley.
I didnt realise this until now, but white terracotta FINALLY has a pallet that works with it now LOL!

I'm loving this start, the cherry Grove grass tone is so unique I am certain you could pull off some cool teraforming and things like that, I'll make sure to keep up with this series

I’ve just started a new world with my brother, like we used to do when we were younger. I found it funny how my main focus was building my home, landscaping and Animal/crop farms, my brother’s main focus was building automated iron farms, mob farms and just automated stuff in general. I started to build a village of my own in my own style, my brother found a premade village, stole it and made it a automated farm😂
Gorgeous area to start in. ❤ building an enchantment tower would fit in nicely, I think. Using the skulk block as a ceiling in the tower would make it feel magical and the illusion of stars. Luv ur videos.😊

Ahhh I'm so excited to see what you do with this new world! The cherry grove is so gorgeous! Next time you adventure you'll have to build a chest boat! So handy for all the loot. The house came out so well, such a perfect build for the biome! So impressed with the dedication to get and use the inside mushroom texture in the starter build.

I thought about a chest boat but the water by the base doesn't join up to the ocean so it's a bit too far from the base!

A friend on our server pranked me early in server history by dyeing a sheep pink in the area where I settled. She didn't tell me for 6 months. I thought I had a natural pink sheep for all that time.

Finally someone who didn't build a ridiculously top to bottom pink house as soon as they found the cherry biome! 😍 It's a miracle! 😱 I'm not a fan of pink in the first place, though cherry trees are pretty, but the overboard on pink going on lately almost has me giving up watching MC let's plays. It's getting insane! Love the starter house.
BTW, yes, I can deal with a pink roof since I'm aware that not everyone dislikes the color. It's people overdosing me on my least favorite color that drives me crazy and not just because of the color. 😅 Honestly, when do you ever see a house that's just one color all over? 🙈 It's extremely rare for a reason. 😫

When you showed off the cherry grove on the mountain in the distance, I was starting to wonder if we had picked the same seed LMAO. Unfortunately we didn't- mine is a large, almost heart-shaped ravine that has cherry trees all along the hill/mountain tops. I'm building my base in the middle of it all 🥰 Although it is a little bit of a pain to get in and out of it to explore but so worth it for the view and the over-abundance of cherry trees
That sounds awesome! Yeah having just one entrance to the valley definitely makes it a little awkward to get in and out but so worth it!
If you didnt know this- Instead of killing mobs go in the water and kill fish they leave bones but the only thing is you will only get a bone every 2-3 fish
Pink sheep!! What a great find! I stumbled across a random seed years ago while playing that spawned me in a field filled with at least ten pink sheep at once. I wonder if it'd still work in 1.20.

ooh! I think you're using the same seed that brookella (a Minecraft UA-camr I watch) is using currently for her series "ruby hollow" I recognised it instantly because of the massive cave hole in the corner and the icy mountains, I can't wait to watch more of this series!
Wonder why almost every yt get extremely lucky with structures when doing these Minecraft let’s play,hardcore, 100 days

PS:ik they did say they picked it out for the biome and nothing else buts that’s hard to believe
You're welcome to believe or not but that is genuinely all I looked for while randomising seeds on chunk base.
I can't speak for everyone but I think it just feels lucky because we cut so much of the boring stuff out so it's more enjoyable to watch!

One day I found a "natural" pink sheep, so I took him to my base together with the other sheep's and renamed him "I am pink". Then I accidentally killed him. That was heartbreaking 😢

Thank you! I do play with some other performance mods for zoom and lighting etc. I made this first episode when 1.20 had just released so none of the mods had been updated yet!

Wonder if I am only person who is not a fan of the pink wood? I love the logs though. Interesting use of mushroom in the build. Subbed.
I think it's a tough colour to work with other things, the white terracotta was all I could come up with for a roof gradient but I looove the unstripped log colour!

terracotta is made from clay, if ya didn't know, just make a clay block and fire it up, then boom, terracotta...and dying it is a 1 - 1 ratio...you just surround 1 bit of dye with 8 terracotta and you will get 8 dyed terracotta :)
