Thanks again. As with last week some very familiar places. I have followed 30 (goes through Rock River) from Laramie to Wallcot. The road is quiet and plenty of places to see trains. Where is county road 43?
Head north on 59 out of Douglas and you'll run across County Road 43/Walker Creek Road on your right. It's way before you hit Bill and it's south of County Road 55 (Google Maps).
@@Atsf1976 Thanks. Yes it looked more like the Powder River than around Cheyenne but being in your Hermosa to Cheyenne video I wanted to make sure. Have been off to the right of 59 in that area but don’t remember the road, or it was more of a track and gravel, I remember that.
@@richardk5849 That article about the Powder River Coal Basin was really a bummer. I can only imagine being in that area to watch trains like 10-15 years ago. I bet it was a constant stream of trains. Lots of meets and races. Oh well. I still want to go back there someday.
@@Atsf1976 Yes, back when I first saw the Powder River Basin it was just that-a procession of coal trains. It was still very busy the second time around but the weather was making it hard to get to good places and take video. But it was between Christmas and New Year’s so it was to be expected. Anyway, got to see it in the snow.
Fantastic videos and I enjoy the view
Thank you very much. More to come.
Enjoyed another compilation video of your catches trackside. Have a wonderful rest of your weekend.(Steve)
Thanks Steve. You do the same.
