Take me back to this time where people go to listen to the music and not worry getting their phones out. Real music, real musicians and real atmosphere
lol. There weren’t cell phones in 1985.
I WAS AT THAT CONCERT THAT NIGHT. LEFT CENTER STAGE. 2nd ROW SEATS. LELAND SKLAR WAS RIGHT IN FONT OF US. I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS VIDEO HAS/HAD EVER BEEN RELEASED. THIS WAS HIS SECOND PERFORMANCE IN DALLAS. THE CONCERT WAS SOLD OUT IN HIS FIRST PERFORMANCE AND SO DID HIS SECOND ONE. PLUS THE FACT HBO WAS THERE THAT NIGHT RECORDING THE SHOW. AND THEN RELEASLED WHAT THEY HAD TAPED. WHAT AN AMAZING SHOW AND NIGHT IT WAS. THE TICKET PRICE I PAID WAS $ 100.00 AH TICKET. 200 BUCS WAS WORTH IT. I FELL IN LOVE WITH DALLAS AND ENDED UP MOVING BACK THERE ONCE I GOT HOME TO THE U.P. OF MICHIGAN. AMAZING!
¡¡¡ que linda cancion de phil colin!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
1994, I was 15 years old. My first (and only) time I went to a Phil Collins concert. Both Sides Tour in Utrecht, Netherlands. Great concert and I deeply regret it not going to more concerts. Two years ago I went to the Genesis concert in Amsterdam. I guess it will be the last time I'd see Phil perform. What a great performer and musician. So dedicated. Still a fan.
It makes me so happy to see all the love for Phil in these comments . He's definitely earned it . What a performer
How beautiful everybody is singing and playing music together. How beautiful. No bad words, no violence. No one is insulting.. making fun of anybody. No women, no men talking nasty. Just beautiful music. Such a blessing
Phil Collins is the most important singer in the whole world. You should have to him some respects.
I miss the 80's and early 90's really effin bad and am not kidding either. Something is very wrong with the world and I don't know what it is. There are many bands and solo artists whose music never get old and Phil is definitely one of them. This song of his especially pulls me instantaneous back 38 years.
If it wasn’t for Phil Collins I wouldn’t have met my children’s father!
In the 1980’s I swear every single song PHIL came out with literally was something I could relate to or I was going through!
Between Face Value and So, those guys *had* to have been spying on my life! (Or whichever album this originally came out on... I can't even remember! All I *do* remember was being on vacation in London, and there just so happened to be a rare-cuts record show going on in one of the hotel's conference rooms. I picked up a *very* lightly-used copy of 12-inchers for, I think, £11? Close to that, anyway!)
Hello dear, how’re you doing today?
it’s nice meeting you on here
One of my favorite songs, that I truly take to heart, from one of my favorite albums by this legend of an artist, whom nobody will ever reach his legacy. Always inspiring, they'll never be anyone like you Phil. Legend. Long live, and wishing you all the best like always. As day by day goes by, your legacy keeps getting greater and greater. The song has so many meanings to all. Hope everyone has had a great start to the year 💙👑
Phil at his very peak, it's sad to see how such an energetic guy who didn't stop all night has been reduced to a chair, your a legend Phil, always will be, grew up on these tunes, wish you the best with your health, love this guy
I smell a bot
Pity though 😂

Lyrics to this truly iconic track; 💙
Take that look of worry, I'm an ordinary man
They don't tell me nothin', so I find out all I can
There's a fire that's been burnin' right outside my door
I can't see, but I feel it, and it helps to keep me warm
So I, I don't mind
No I, I don't mind
Seems so long I've been waitin', still don't know what for
There's no point escaping, I don't worry anymore
I can't come out to find you, I don't like to go outside
They can't turn off my feelings like they're turnin' off the light
But I, I don't mind
No I, I don't mind
Oh I, I don't mind
No I, I don't mind
So take, take me home
'Cause I don't remember, take, take me home
'Cause I don't remember, take, take me home, oh Lord
'Cause I've been a prisoner all my life
And I can say to you
Take that look of worry, mine's an ordinary life
Working when it's daylight, and sleeping when it's night
I've got no far horizons, I don't wish upon a star
They don't think that I listen, oh but I know who they are
And I, I don't mind
No I, I don't mind
Oh I, I don't mind
No I, I don't mind
So take, take me home
'Cause I don't remember, take, take me home
'Cause I don't remember, take, take me home
'Cause I don't remember, take, take me home, oh Lord
Well, I've been a prisoner all my life
And I can say to you
But I don't remember
Take, take me home
'Cause I don't remember, take, take me home
'Cause I don't remember, take, take me home
'Cause I don't remember, take, take me home
'Cause I don't remember, take, take me home
'Cause I don't remember, take, take me home
'Cause I don't remember, take, take me home
'Cause I don't remember, take, take me home
'Cause I don't remember, take, take me home
🙏
I wish we had sound mixes like that today.... real instruments make real sounds... so great!!
Home is where the heart is ♥️
That's a Hexagon Storm
Best concert I have ever gone too in 1985. Denver baby! He was and is awesome and beloved.
Unforgettable beyond explanation.
Definitely technology has benefits but if ur a music fan of some amazing artists then let me go back to times like these. Big $$$ ruins vital experiences for darn near everyone ❤
I always thought the marimba would be a sequenced synth but Chester plays it live.👍
Good live
Great.
He even drums in his singing. His sense of rhythm and percussion drives his vocals.❤ Love it!
love of my life, I will love you forever😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
With pleasure 😁.
Too bad I wasn't there to see this in '85. I was only knee high to a grasshopper, a whopping 5 years old. Your songs give me strength.💕
June 2, 1985 Irvine Meadows Amphitheater was the first time I saw Phil in concert. It was GREAT!
Take Me Home!! Yes please! Back to a time when the world made sense. Something evil has taken hold of this world.

The Best of The Best ____________________ !!!
Another Time. Another world. Another Dimension. We are in the Twilight Zone now.
I still remember the first time I heard this song. Since that time, almost 40 years ago, it’s always popped up at the most important moments. Thank you, Phil, for one of those magical tunes.
Damn this song sounds so amazing and even better live. My goodness Mr. Collins #DOPE
I love take me home, thanky @oficialphilcollins.
Wanted to hear this song when I was getting out of jail
Since I was ten years old I liked him I never understood why because I didn't understand English. it was the melodies, his voice and over time (when I learned English) his lyrics. songs that have marked my life like that of so many people. dozens of songs that have made us laugh, cry, suffer and be the happiest people in the world. Thank you Phil Collins for each of your notes, your songs, your choruses and in short, thank you for each of those moments that you have shared with us. I will always be forever grateful. You have been the soundtrack of many lives, one of your legacies.
Thanks so, so much.
He is the master

Epic live...the last one of every his playlist
Love this song so much ✨🍀✨🍀 thank you
Great song brings back memories
I love the real concerts people post on YT back when musicians were all real-all their voices, the musicians etc. If I don't hear imperfection then you KNOW you're not hearing live musicians. Which makes Phil Collins vocals even MORE amazing to listen to listen to, it's all him LIVE. Lucky us who got to see him in the 90s/200s - mine was in genesis
Me too....loved Genesis also..... NJ
es un genio super tristemente ya esta a punto de morir viva phil collins
I have loved and danced to your songs all my life but never really appreciated the lyrics until now. Now I have a newfound love for your songs all over again....💖PRICELESS💖.

Best concert ever.Genesis and Phil Collins at Roundhay park Leeds. Unforgettable:)
❤️🌹❤️
Phil what a journey! Thanks!
Amazing.
Beautiful song heartfelt
Meu amor tão lindo..❤❤ suas músicas é o alimento do meu coração ❤
Voce meravigliosa canzone bellissima tanta simpatia Grande Phil. Unico❤️
Thank you Phil for the wonderful music of the 80s and 90s. I still enjoy your old albums, and many artists I grew up with were very talented and deserved the fame they got. Today, I can't say as much. Between the autotune and predictable tunes, it's nauseating. Before anyone gives me a hard time, I have looked into indie music. Many indies think they can self-produce forever without ever needing a co-producer and sound engineer. A good team can give you that final push that makes your song epic.
This is achingly beautiful. Thank you.
Love this song 🔥💝❤️🔥💖
This would be his best performance of TMH if the xylophone player didn't keep hitting the wrong high note.
