Some Yellow-rumps spend the winter here in Birmingham, Alabama, in my wax myrtles, which shield my front yard from the street. They also come to the suet feeder, but it's mainly the attraction of my wax myrtles that brings them every year. Love those Yellow-rumped Warblers!

Yes makes sense for sure why they love your front yard! I do love to see them each winter

Love love you video - gives me a much needed "Bird Fix" and education, cool tips. I'm in North Central FL ( Ocala) but live normally near Newark NJ and see Warblers only in heavy migration when they get stuck/confused in the hazards of city. I really need to get familiar with ebird as what you did showing when they should be expected in other states, did not know could do that , This week from my window in Ocala (have bird bath and meal worm feeder) I saw a Catbird, Palm warbler, Carolina Wren, Eastern Phoebe, American Crows, and many Robins but that is it. A FIG tree - too cool, I'm really a Jersey girl so that sounds super exotic, and Gumbo !.

thank you!! ebird has a lot of cool resources, maybe I need to make a video on how to access them! That tool is my absolute favorite….and yes the gumbo limbo trees have a funny name😂😂😂 they are a big tropical hardwood that birds seem to love their berries! The strangler fig is the biggest hit though! Those are definitely some great bird you found! A lot of people are seeing robins right now too!
