That was a really fun performance shunanda even though the judge was right. I Don't think you enjoyed it yourself ~ ~ well done though. #teamshunanda

Exactly! She indeed has a powerful vocal strength but the way she sang today putting unnecessary pressure on every note just killed the harmony of this song. :(

প্রতি শুক্রবার এই অনুষ্ঠানটা হয়, আগামী ২৬শে মার্চের আগে আজই ছিলো শেষ শুক্রবার। আজ ব্যান্ডের গান নিয়ে এপিসোড করাটা কি খুবই জরুরি ছিলো? যেহেতু আমরা বাঙালী, আর সামনেই ছিলো স্বাধীনতা দিবস অথচ আমরা ব্যান্ডের, ইংলিশ গানের প্রতি এতই মনযোগী যে আমরা খুব সহজে এই দিবস টার কথা ভুলে গেলাম! তবে আমরা নিজেদের বাঙালী বলে দাবি করি কেন, কেন কেন? আমরাই কি একমাত্র সেই জাতি যারা কিনা ভাষার জন্য প্রাণ দিয়েছি, নিজেদের ধিক্কার দেয়া উচিত, আমরা কিনা রক্ত দিয়ে পাওয়া ভাষার মর্ম বুঝিনা, ছি!
প্রতি বছর মাতৃভাষা দিবসে আমরা গুণিজনেরা মিডিয়াতে বাংলাকে বাঁচানোর জন্য ঝড় তুলে ফেলি, অথচ আমরাই পরে বাংলাকে হেলা করি, ছি! আমরা বিচারকের বা যারা এর সাথে জড়িত তাদের ভুল ধরছিনা, আমরা সাধারণ মানুষ, তাও আমাদের মনে হয়, সঙ্গীতটা ফুটে উঠে বাংলা গানের মধ্য দিয়ে, সুর কার গলায় কতটা আছে তা বাংলা গানেই ধরা যায় আর আমরা বাঙালিরা তা বুঝলাম না। অথচ আমাদের প্রতিবেশি দেশে বিভিন্ন উৎসব অনুষ্ঠানে আমাদের দেশের গানগুলো খুবই জনপ্রিয়তা পায়, তারা আমাদের গানের মর্ম বুঝে, হায়রে বাঙালি আমরা তা বুঝিনা। আমরা বুঝি আধুনিকতার নামে দেশীয় ঐতিহ্য সংস্কৃতিকে বিলুপ্ত করে ফেলা। আর এখান থেকে নাকি আবার best singer বের হবে?

I actually wanted Samira to sing a GnR song. But what the hell did she do with it 😑 I wish she'd felt the song more and attempted to sing it with less caricature. It almost sounded like she was mocking it. Anyways, I still support her and want her and Antora in the band for sure.
Why does Samira always put so much pressure on every note of any song? I didn't even see her stepping out of her comfort zone in this show. Like her vocal strength but she kinda ruined the smoothness of this song today.
