One thing you should know about Appolousa in this deck is that because lost world is on the field it’ll have 1 less negate than how many ever counters it has because it’s attack will be decreased by 500. It needs to lose 800 attack to be able to negate.
The thing about this deck that makes it so good is that if they hit your scrap cards you still end on your traditional dino end board. Also because you don’t really need your extra deck, you can play so many different things in the extra deck and have so many different builds.
Okay so the Misc + Baby combo can be done a lot safer. Firstly when you pop the baby off Scrap, just immediately summon Rex. The reason is you want to LV 4s on board before making Wyvern. That way you play around Nibiru since if they Nibiru they will only clear the Wyvern and you can end on a rank 4 plus UCT afterwards. There was a point in your route where if they Nibirud on summon of Wyvern you would have Ovie and Baby on board which doesn't do much. So it would be UCT pass. They key place to change the combo is you pop Rex with Wyvern's second effect and then summon Golem, revive Scrap and make Apo. Then you can drop Chimera if I remember correctly. You end on the same board so you may as well be as safe as possible. Another thing I was doing was making Link Kuriboh before going in to Scrap Wyvern. This allows for your Pill to be live if they Imperm Wyvern. I may sound nitpicky but it's always best to play around as much as possible. Oh you did the Link Kuriboh play in the second combo.
This combo ends with UCT, Apo, a rank 4 and a random level 4 dino if you don't run Golem and just run another Scrap Raptor, no? Like if you summon the Raptor in place of the Golem, I mean.
Used this to help with my Dino deck in Master Duel - thanks! Deck is insane, yet I never see anyone else playing it. Super underrated. Guess because TCG players aren't used to 3 misc yet.
no, its because 3/4 of the decks are SR and UR, so very expensive deck, and many seeks to play a more lower rarity/budget competitive decks, so you got the adventage
I don't think it's underated. To maximize your combo plays you need to run a shit load of bricks. And all the combo pieces are weak to ash/max c. You gotta hope you draw into called by or you're dead in the water. Most tier 1 decks have multiple starters and searchers. One ash blossom and they still have a good board. That's why the deck isn't tier 1. If it could get some more consistency in the form of 3 oviraptor and a nerf to some handtraps then we can talk about competing better but until then it's just a worse alternative to a tier 1 combo deck

At 5:43 ... you could've made Reprodocus in the same zone as Wyvern. You make Golem winged beast, then Simorgh with them. You synchro Savage with Raptor + Rex. Then Pill, banish Rex and Chimera to ss UCT. Summon Rex and you have a Rank4 Xyz with Oviraptor.
I personally am running Nemeses Keystone, as it both recycles Misc. and enables Naturia Beast. All you have to do is follow the first combo, but overlay the Giant Rex and Oviraptor into Gallant Granite, then use Granite to search Keystone. Keystone has an inherent special summon by shuffling back a banished monster, then you can pill the Rex and Keystone into UCT, and Rex comes back, then in end phase Keystone adds itself back to your hand. And yes, that's a run-on sentence.

The combo that starts at 14:18 you messed up if you activate souk eating oviraptors 2nd effect then you would have to special summon the dino out of the grave yard which would have been misc so you would have gotten its effect bc he would have then been on the field
In the second combo if you pop your raptor first and search chimera then summon chimera and make raptor + ovi into dolkka you can completely play around nibiru by making it so they can never sac more than 1 under misc and at the one point wheren you only have 1 non dino scrap left you already got dolkka

I believe you messed up a little bit in combo 1, you could’ve made both Borreload Savage dragon and xyz monster. For the Apollousa you should’ve used wyvern, golem and archosaur, then make Borreload Savage with giant rex and scrap raptor then pill banishing giant rex and chimera to bring conductor then you have an xyz option like Laggia or dweller or tornado dragon, or to make things interesting and free knowledge time thief redoer or you can make psy frame lord lambda and make a gamma in hand live

In combo #3, why did you dump Misc instead of searching it off Oviraptor Effect? If you searched it, you could give yourself protection by discarding it, then banish it for it’s grave effect, worst case scenario, your opponent negates it and you can still use the grave effect.
tbh i think in late games like round 3 it would be nice to do that. while they alrdy took nib out of the deck vs dinos. and it lets you dodge droll. because once you get pill you wont care for droll anymore
You kinda can’t but the thing is is that misc protects your Dinos so you can still end on the traditional dino end board if they hit your scrap cards. Also that token you get from nibiru is a normal monster, so you can protect it with lost world during their turn if they try to destroy it by battle or card effect and set up resources for follow up next turn.
I am a main Dino player and I've been testing Scraptor since yesterday and its a lot of fun. I'm still wondering if it is worth playing compared to the standard build (sometimes the board feels a little been unecessarily overextended, and maybe a bit weaker to Nib) but it has some great perks (especially the access to Savage, the possibility to play more around Lancea, and the access to another two card combo in Scraptor+Lost World) Watching your video, I must admit I didn't thought of Scrap Golem as an additionnal extender. It seems nice, but I wonder if it is worth playing the brick just for one more body on the field ? idk, if you already have Chimera, the Statue, and even Driver it can start getting a bit bricky Oh and btw, in your 3rd combo, why on earth would you send misc to the GY instead of adding it to your hand and use its discard effect ? Don't you like your board being protected ? :P

Game 2 or 3 its probably better to play around Droll than Nib in the format, I agree. LW & Ovi combo: Why would you send Misc directly to the GY when you can just pitch it from hand to get that insane protection effect and then it will also be in the GY? He says it would be “pointless” I am assuming b/c of Lost World, but the LW token only makes it so your opponent can only target tokens by monster effects. Am I missing something? This combo video hurts my eyes as a Dino player.
Only thing I can think of is that it plays around droll and allows you to get to your pill. If you add misc just to dump it and you get drolled, no pill. Idk if it's worth it though.
You can summon dolka before you go into any non Dino monsters. Do your scrap plays, then summon needle fiber. Summon out orcust brass bombard. Link into Galatea. Banish bombard with evo pill. Boom now u have or ust crescendo to stop dark ruler. Edit: two raptor and one chimera are the only scrap monsters you need.
10:07 Savage Dragon doesn’t seem optimal here. I personally would have just made a Dolka and a Laggia. That’s 5 monster negates plus a Solemn Judgement on legs. Just my opinion, though
calls the Scrap Raptor + Lost World combo the "bad" combo, but still ends on 7 to 8 negates... yeah it totally showcases how dumb Scrap Raptor is in dino, especially giving Lost World another starter to go with it if we don't open Oviraptor.
@@kingpin6173 than people will just use 3petiteradon. Hitting babycerasaurus does nothing. The only one card hit that will truly effect the deck is limiting misc. Two card hit would be limiting ovi and dig.
No problably not. It was buffed to bring it into the current meta , it is a powerful starting point for a lot of returning players and yeah you can make it consistant. But other harder to assemble decks can interrupt it in multiple ways. So I think will need to stay where it is. Keep growing off scrap dino build. For example the True king dino got hit right away basically. And cards like ovi or misellaneousaurus are great but not broken. They are just responses to other broken cards like Ash
I dont think Barrier Statue is better in this deck; you're already playing tons of bricks and want to draw as many going 2nd cards as possible in addition to engine cards. Barrier statue just makes that harder, and Simorgh takes up a space in a tight extra deck.
Extra Deck isn't that tight in dinos., Wait.. I actually don't care to go 2nd as much. But barrier statue isn't necessary, I rather cut golem. But Truth be told cut statue + golem + 1 more for 3 pot of prosperity. Extra Deck Add back phoenix.
Try 2 diva, 001, qoat, and 1 warbluran instead of scrap. Turn 1, diva is double arc light, going second she is kitedrake, not to mention the rest of the cards you have that do more. There are many intricacies to this build, just try it out. Just do a misc/baby walkthrough combo, you'll see it.

This card being common is an excuse to hit dino after the format where they were the best anti-meta deck even though their results are here and there in the current format
I don’t think people understand that all these combos could be accomplished 100% the same way when scrap raptor wasn’t out that’s not going to change anything all you have to do is just negate scrap recycler
I dont think you run recycler, just chimera and you can end on dolkka, simorgh/scythe+tornado, conductor/pankratops and borrrel savage from your normal 2 dino opening
You mainly did dolkka with UCT and maybe Pank, but it's mainly Dolkka and UCT, which is good, but not good against every matchup. Scrap Raptor advances your end boards by giving you more extra deck options it didn't do before besides maybe artifact combo, like Borrelsword, laggia, Apolossa, tornado dragon, etc. If they negate your scrap part, you can still do the standard dino combo and vice versa, and scrap raptor helps you play through lancea like how Gilasaurus does.

Hitting babycerasaurus does nothing when peti is still there and lost world is a good hit I extremely over look. I say Konami Should hit misc or ovi plus dig. Of course with raptor people could use scrapyard and other things if ovi and dig was limited but it will force a small change. Than again with the lost world hit you mentioned I think pairing it with ovi or misc would probably be more effective. I'll definitely discuss hits with you but I'm also trying to not think hey immediately destroy Dino's because mega tin reprint and future ots reprint for raptor.

Outside of droll, 3 am brain = poop brain, but yes droll would end my game... But poop brain makes more sense to me

No alts but my Yu-Gi-Oh senses tell me it will be reprinted like in the next 1 or 2 reprint sets, either battle of legends or ots pack.
Without it you dont have a way to to do Wyvern with 1 card. You would need run like if u were running Orcust. Wich comes with a lot of bricks.
Scrap Recycler + Crystron Rosenix if you're okay with the bricks.

@@kingpin6173 than people will just use 3petiteradon. Hitting babycerasaurus does nothing. The only one card hit that will truly effect the deck is limiting misc. Two card hit would be limiting ovi and dig.
@@WShoup9818 you can't cycle baby into baby if it's at one. I've gone through all 3 babies and 2 Petit in one turn.

Do you need scrap chimera?
Yes, without it you dont have a way to to do Wyvern with 1 card. You would need run like if u were running Orcust. Wich comes with a lot of bricks.

Will Konami hit this deck in future banlists?
No problably not. It was buffed to bring it into the current meta , it is a powerful starting point for a lot of returning players and yeah you can make it consistant. But other harder to assemble decks can interrupt it in multiple ways. So I think will need to stay where it is. Keep growing off scrap dino build. For example the True king dino got hit right away basically. And cards like ovi or misellaneousaurus are great but not broken. They are just responses to other broken cards like Ash
I dont think Barrier Statue is better in this deck; you're already playing tons of bricks and want to draw as many going 2nd cards as possible in addition to engine cards. Barrier statue just makes that harder, and Simorgh takes up a space in a tight extra deck.
Extra Deck isn't that tight in dinos., Wait.. I actually don't care to go 2nd as much.
But barrier statue isn't necessary, I rather cut golem. But
Truth be told cut statue + golem + 1 more for 3 pot of prosperity.

Poor scraps, they get a piece of sick support and it’s used by another deck that is meta.
Try 2 diva, 001, qoat, and 1 warbluran instead of scrap. Turn 1, diva is double arc light, going second she is kitedrake, not to mention the rest of the cards you have that do more. There are many intricacies to this build, just try it out. Just do a misc/baby walkthrough combo, you'll see it.

This card being common is an excuse to hit dino after the format where they were the best anti-meta deck even though their results are here and there in the current format

I don’t think people understand that all these combos could be accomplished 100% the same way when scrap raptor wasn’t out that’s not going to change anything all you have to do is just negate scrap recycler
I dont think you run recycler, just chimera and you can end on dolkka, simorgh/scythe+tornado, conductor/pankratops and borrrel savage from your normal 2 dino opening
You mainly did dolkka with UCT and maybe Pank, but it's mainly Dolkka and UCT, which is good, but not good against every matchup. Scrap Raptor advances your end boards by giving you more extra deck options it didn't do before besides maybe artifact combo, like Borrelsword, laggia, Apolossa, tornado dragon, etc. If they negate your scrap part, you can still do the standard dino combo and vice versa, and scrap raptor helps you play through lancea like how Gilasaurus does.

Someone go to Konami HQs and tell them to ban Lost World and limit Baby I'm sick of how many stupid ways they can acquire full board.
Hitting babycerasaurus does nothing when peti is still there and lost world is a good hit I extremely over look. I say Konami Should hit misc or ovi plus dig. Of course with raptor people could use scrapyard and other things if ovi and dig was limited but it will force a small change. Than again with the lost world hit you mentioned I think pairing it with ovi or misc would probably be more effective. I'll definitely discuss hits with you but I'm also trying to not think hey immediately destroy Dino's because mega tin reprint and future ots reprint for raptor.
