I just watched her video, Tina, because I was intrigued by this...she attached the butterflies with glossy accents....She also used a used laminating sheet and the glossy accents held! Thank you!
My apple tree was literally covered with butterflies for the last couple of weeks so I’m obsessed by their beauty at the moment! Thanks for bringing this lovely little project to us!

If you have any teacher friends, I am sure one of them will have transparencies. Although overhead projectors are not as widely used these days, teachers will still have transparencies in abundance.

I actually knew where they were, which is a miracle -- I'm thinking of buying a lottery ticket myself !! -- and none of the pages were bent and were just a pleasure to work with -- before I knew it, it was dark outside, and I'd watched an entire season of this show -- so you win the grand prize for inspiration of the tidy kind !! Oh how gorgeous 😍what a great idea 💡. I always use double sided red tape for plastic but you have to cover the back. I made transparent Christmas cards one year and it was tricky lol I had to print a mirror image of everything to hide the back😄. I've never sewn acetate before, must try it. I saw a similar video, can't for the life of me think who it was, but they had butterflies on strips of acetate coming from the centre of the signature, and when you opened it up the butterflies were bobbing about as if they were flying. I'll try and find it, it might be one you'd like to try as well 😊 these turned out gorgeous, love the wine labels xxx
Yes it’s Carol Tinson. It was beautiful wasn’t it. She attached them with glossy accents, it was for the first Rock my journal series. I think they are really pretty but I think perhaps the lace although lovely, took the illusion away. Loved the label underneath
