    man this is legit one of the best things I've seen.
    no cable connecting the boards, no cable to the PC.
    amazing.

    I would love to have a crockery keyboard, a pity that I live in Brazil and with the current situation, and taxes that keep rising the next day, a keyboard would come out with a very salty price, mainly due to the high dollar in my country, but like every Brazilian he is stubborn, and he never gives up and in his own way I will do something as cool! thanks for the video, u gave me some ideas!

      Yes. this was done before I was made aware of these 301230 batteries. They indeed fit perfectly and probably have higher capacity than these LIR2032 too!

    Well done on your build. What kinds of latency are you getting? When I checked the latency for BT5.0 I thought it was too much and would hold the experience back. Would be interesting to know if you have done any end to end latency testing.... Still impressive though! Well done!

    Hi, I got a question, can I use a configuration for Spanish? haha, I really need the "Ñ" so, can I program the keyboard in Spanish ?

    • @jolarful
      @jolarful 4 роки тому

      Creo que la configuración es casi la misma a excepción de la distribución de las teclas, es cuestión de comparar el teclado inglés con el español y percatarse que tienen la misma cantidad.
      Simplemente te compras el Corne split sin las keycaps para usar un set de estas en español, el resto supongo que es cuestión de configurar el teclado en español desde la computadora.

      This is the corne keyboard that's available on multiple stores. All you need for the conversion are the controllers, battery and switch. I won't have this board available on my store. I do have the BlueMicro840 available. If they are out of stock, I will be building some more over the weekend. I have all the materials to make 50 or so without me ordering more parts.

    Any idea on the latency?
    From what I saw in the video, the typing demo was overlaid and played early, so the frames don't match (play the video at 0.25x, play from 0:29 and pause at 0:31. The Y already is registered but his fingers are no where close to the key).

    Any documentation about this??

  • @MicCheckOneTwo12

    This is brilliant, however one thing that occurred to me is an issue with modifiers. I'm assuming anything you do with QMK and function layers only work on each side. Since they both connect via bluetooth to the pc, whatever is sent from each side is isolated and could theoretically have lag issues with modifiers like shift and ctrl. Is this correct? With a keyboard like this having a layer function on the right side and using layered keys on the right side is crucial to having enough inputs.

    • @BlueMicroWirelessKeyboards
      @BlueMicroWirelessKeyboards  3 роки тому

      It's not QMK - It's using my firmware: BlueMicro_BLE: github.com/jpconstantineau/BlueMicro_BLE

    • @BlueMicroWirelessKeyboards
      @BlueMicroWirelessKeyboards  2 роки тому

      I don't really recommend to use these coin cell batteries as they can't supply current for very long. I usually recommend the larger 301230 lipo batteries that fit under the controller, between the sockets.

    I'm new to building custom keyboards. From reading the other comments, it appears as though I can take any corne keyboard and add these pcbs that are available on OPs store for $25 each. How would I program the keyboard then? I'm assuming I can use QMK to program this? @BlueMicro Wireless Keyboards

    • @BlueMicroWirelessKeyboards
      @BlueMicroWirelessKeyboards  3 роки тому

      QMK isn't recommended for nRF52840 chips. There are forks out there that are old and QMK won't ever support it because licensing of the SDK isn't compatible with QMK.

    • @BlueMicroWirelessKeyboards
      @BlueMicroWirelessKeyboards  3 роки тому

      Not really. The sum of all components do add up very quickly and unfortunately, the two BLE controllers make a good proportion of it. Even wired with pro micros, the Corne keyboard with switches and keycaps would be more than 100$

      Soldering small lipo batteries underneath the controller is much better (and smaller). Large 3000mAh batteries would make these RGB LEDs last much longer...
