Do you want to catch the biggest fish in the lake? Most likely it's a Carp! Common carp are known for being one of the hardest fighting freshwater fish in the US, and in this video we're going to look at the best rig I've come up with for Carp -- the Triple Swivel Rig.
In this video, I fished two locations -- the first I was solo at Jewell Pond, and the second was with a good friend. That's a big part of why I started this fishing channel -- to relive the experience of fishing.
I had an absolute blast fishing with my longtime pal Wyatt, and we were able to have an awesome fishing session at Johnson reservoir. The water was low and muddy -- just how carp like it, and the bite was on! If we had more time, I'm sure we would've caught several more!
E Park Fishing merch coming soon! Working on designs for hats and t-shirts, but I want to make sure the quality is good before I recommend any product -- even my own. Tight lines everybody!

Will try carp fishing. Question one hook goes together with the pac bait?? Sorry I am a noob

Yep! The triple swivel rig uses 2 hooks -- 1 shoved in the bait, and 1 free. You can also put both hooks in the bait. I've found it is the most effective rig for quick catches. Just be patient and wait till they really take the bait! If you move it to soon, it'll spoil them.

Carp are an invasive species here in Australia. If caught they can not be released back. Most dispose of the fish. I have heard that they can be eaten if you know how cook it. 😮

I can it, then make fish cakes, better than store bought canned salmon. Perch will also can and make good fish cakes.

You probably get in trouble releasing Asian carp back, being the most prolifically diverse invasive species to date. It's their feeding habits that make them so environmentally destructive. Primarily water turbulence that restricts sunlight to aquatic plants that provides water space oxygenation via photosynthesis that local biodiversity ecosystems require to survive.
Good ocean bait though, especially for snapper fish.

Carp in the video are common carp, not Asian or bighead carp. They are not considered invasive in Colorado and most states. Thank you for watching!

Want to catch a carp. See if it's worth catching carp. Don't know anyone that's eaten one.

They're definitely worth fishing for! I've only cooked a Carp once before -- you want to make sure it's out of really clean water. It was scaly, and bony, but the meat tasted good!
