  • First proper jam for me with the ALM / Busy Circuits Dinky's Taiko module.
Here's what's going on in the patch:
Pamela's Workout is the master clock, triggering my euro Klee on drum-duty with the Hexinverter Mutant Bassdrum, Clap and Hihats.
The Music Thing / Thonk Turing Machine with Bytes, Pulses and Voltages expanders is doing the main sequencing of Dinky's Taiko via... a Toppobrillo Quantimator + RYO VC Sequencer combo to scale up and down the Wave control on the Taiko. Pulses is sending triggers to the Choke input and Accent input via MATHS to widen the gate trigger.
I've left the settings on Dinky's Taiko pretty minimal so the above could do the main business. though there is some filtering via an STG Sea Devils Filter - the frequency inputs controlled by both a Wogglebug and an ALM Pip Slope envelope.
Finally, Dinky's Taiko is going through an Echophon for a little bit of spaceyness.

Forgive me but to clarify, you're not using Dinky for the drums? Tried to sort out what exactly you were doing with it based on your description above but was a little confused still, sorry

Hi, yeah the Mutant Drum modules were making all the percussion sounds - you can see their LEDs flashing in time - Dinky's Taiko is the 'tune' that changes a little as the Turing Machine is controlling it's pattern and pitch. About a min in to the vid you can really tell here. Hope this helps :)
