Just to note, Hypnosis is not mind control. You won't do or experience anything you don't want to do. You have to *want* to do/perceive said actions/experiences in order for it to work. So the fact that she reacted to everyone being "naked" makes me question if she was just going along with it the bit but wasn’t really affected or genuinely wanted to perceive everyone (and even herself) as naked and allowed the hypnosis to work... and if its the later, then I have a lot MORE questions. Edit: Had recently watched the full video and he actually explained that after the matter. But yeah, as he says in the full video, if she didn't feel comfortable with that suggestion of everyone and herself being naked, she could've ignored the suggestion easily. .....But now I just have questions 😂

You are still partially concious so even they fell into hypnosis if you look at the silly act of your friend beside you. You could grin a bit but still you didnt notice that you are doing silly animal act too.
I'll never understand why these people choose to go along with such ridiculousness. Why not just admit "I'm genuinely not hypnotised, I'm returning to my seat". Because they WANT to be on the stage and they think it's fun, they're enjoying themselves. And to not cooperate would be a bit embarrassing. It's the only reason, There's no such thing as hypnotism.
I didn’t believe in this until I witnessed my students on stage doing things they would NEVER do in front of their peers. I had most of the students in class before and some were sooo shy. I was an instant believer. It was a different hypnotist but none the less. I fully believe

Ppl like to be the center of attention and most of all they don't want to be the asshole ruining the show and being in conflict with the magician that hundreds of ppl in the public came to see. If you interview them after the show they will just tell you usually. Yeah I was having fun playing along.
allafleche this is the correct answer. I’ve been studying this phenomenon for years. It’s basic psychology. Ego, empathy, obedience and conformity. Nothing more, nothing less. People want to be the center of attention, they don’t want to disappoint the hypnotist and ruin the show, they are naturally obedient to authority and conform like sheep with others.

The girl on the far left: At the beggining the suggestion is given in such a way, that the words imply that regardless of whatever she will try to do, in the end she will "sleep". The hypnotist is not the only authority, there are also the spectators who are eager and demanding that she will be put to "sleep". And if her free will will not sucumb into the psychological leveraging, there is the physical authority and manipulation, the hand of the hypnotist which by the command "sleep" casually will push her to the side, reminding us the proverb "actions are stronger than words" ...

That's a good theory, but that's not what research suggests. The way a subject reacts to hypnosis depends on the depth of their current trance state. The more hypnotised someone is the less they will be affected by their conscious mind. Stage hypnosis doesn't really offer a good showcase about what hypnosis actually is. Professional therapists that use hypnosis will spend HOURS inducing a trance, and they will make you better at entering a trance in multiple sessions, and they don't really care if you are a "sub" or a "dom". Sure, if you're a straight up arse who doesn't want to get hypnotized then you won't get hypnotized, but no one is claiming otherwise, it is widely known that hypnosis is reciprocal.
