It seems like the objective of act 5 is to complete the monument. The gleamers took some 1500 food from my stores before that section was completed. They also took over 1000 wood, and 300 stone.
I don't think the cataclysm ends on it's own. I think you have to have massive stores of every resource, including copper and relics. I have no idea what those numbers could be, but it seems like some optimal play is necessary.

The only thing that stopping me from using beacons to expand my people to gather my herbs or hunting etc was it drain my wood sooo freaking much. Tbf i dont know how to do a good start yet 😂

Cool game, thanks for showcasing it. City-builder roguelite business is a-booming and I'm all for it. Already wishlisted in the past but a welcome reminder. You should check out Against the Storm for yourself, it's great, many similar mechanics to The Tribe so I immidiately thought of it.
