Is it any good? Fly6 Pro Footage Test 4K 30p

I bought the Fly6 Pro which now has a longer battery life and 4K capabilities. The real question now is, can it actually do what it says on the tin? Will it actually capture a numberplate or resolve enough detail to see if the driver was distracted or on the phone?

Hey Dan, Thanks for sharing our first video review!
Thanks for the feedback with the Lock Footage button. To lock footage on the Fly6 Pro you only need to quick press the Q button then you will hear a confirmation beep. When turning off the device you need to hold down the power button for a full 2 seconds, this is to stop any accidental power downs.

Thanks guys. My issue is the placement of the button and the fact that it is not easy to save footage without getting off the bike. Camera controls via the headunit would have been the best way but I believe this doesn't have ANT+. Honestly I'm not sure why you couldn't have implemented a visual radar alert through image recognition of cars coming from behind, a future firmware update where it beeps if a car is coming up on the 6?

@@ItsDanKReviews I'm not from Cycliq, but I can answer the latter part as an engineer - it would be prohibitively power draining to run an image classifier on-device, if there's even processing power enough to do it in a timely manner. It would be easier to add radar hardware a la RCT715, but this doesn't appear to have it. Maybe next generation...

No ant+ support to control the rear light with a head unit, shame at that price I will wait untill you get up to speed with safety technology
Having the capability to adjust the light setting from the head unit from solid to flash on the fly is a safety feature in it's own because if you are riding with a friend you can use flash off the back and solid with a friend behind you so you don't blind him
