Gosh, that's a dramatic look! Was looking for something simple, yet effective for Halloween. I feel confident enough to give this a try. I just wanted to say how much i appreciated your video!
It’s been a few years since I’ve used my training, so I looked up some videos to help for a Halloween look for a client in the morning and I’m so happy I found this video. So straight forward and you are so sweet 💗
Glad I stumbled across this video. I'm dressing up as the Joker (Heath Ledger version) and was wondering if you have any tips on what to do with the scars on his mouth
You can use the same stuff, just use a pen that’s a few shades darker than your natural skin tone (or try to match the colors of your own scars if you have any).
Your English is perfect! Rigid Collodion does not dissapear by itself. So dont worry about sweat. Your need to kind of pull it of to remove. Just get the first bit loose with your nails and then you van take if off in one go.
Can you use this stuff as glue for fake stitches, or is it better to stick with spirit gum? And can you use blood gel for the color, or stick with makeup?
I wouldn't recommend using it as glue because it simply tightens the skin and doesn't make it sticky. And blood gel will look like blood, if you want it to look that way go for it but if you want something to look bruised I'd suggest using make up or other face paint.
That's actually a quite nice idea, I don't know if it works though. If you should try it please tell me if it worked! I know that latex works great too but I haven't tried spirit gum yet (I don't know if it's simply not available in Germany of if I just haven't been lucky enough but I haven't found it in stores)
You can make the pulling skin effect with Rigid Collodion. Yes. But the stitch, you will need to glue it down. Use spitit gum or proa-aide for the this.
@@SchminkenGrime I'm using Mehron. I've tried it on my arm and the upper part of my leg. I hadn't put it on my face yet b/c I wanted to make sure I wasn't allergic.
Mehron is great so that can't be it. Did you wait a few minutes every layer? And helping it dry with an air-flow can help. Use a fan or a blow-dryer (on cold). This always gives me the feeling it helps the effect to be bigger and better.
You can also use remover or alcohol to get rid of it (remover can cause irritation, but if you don’t get a reaction from applying it in the first place, reactions to the removers are rare).
this video need more views you deserve it with the crazy cool design for the eye
Thank you!!!!

Thank you!
Does it just wash right off after? How’s the removal process if not that simple?
Thank you so much for this, it helped a lot, I'm definitely using this for Halloween this year!!

Can you make a removal video? I tried some scars and.... I am having a hard time trying to peel them.
Use spirit gum remover.
They make a remover specifically made to remove colidian.

Thank you so much for this tutorial
im gonna use this for the joker dark knight the scar mouth
Amazing work
What would you use if you have darker skin? I wanna go this for a cosplay of a character of mine

Hi, I have a question. If you sweat. that this product dissapear by itself? And how long does it stick on our skin? (sorry for me english :S)

@@SchminkenGrime Thanks a lot! :D
SchminkenGrime tg o da
Quick question do you know if you can use this over liquid latex and have it do the same thing?
+Lauren Abundis good question! But i think it would not act the same on latex. But i never tried.
You can, but putting it over a layer of prosaide adhesive makes it easier to remove and helps protect your skin.
Just discovered you. Love your videos and your accent
Thank you 🥰

I meant covering the thing with it, so it's pulled against the skin. I probably will stick with spirit gum though

I'll try to remember :)

I have a question. How do you remove the liquid off your face?
Check our recent Rigid Collodion video. I talk about that at the end of it 😘
@@SchminkenGrime Ahh, okay thank you so much :)
is there anything i need to pay attention to when working near the mouth area?
I would not put on your lips. Getting it on is okay. But removing it realy hurts like hell.
can i put it on my brow? or the hairs will come off?
No you can't. You will remove the hairs
Not recommended, but 8f you use remover specifically made for colidian you can.
nice!!! this was super helpful :D
Thank you
I did 4 layers, and I'm still barely getting anything. What am I doing wrong?
What brand did you use? And where on your skin did you try making the scar?
