Please be careful with this FX product!!!! It can be very hard on sensitive skin and it can injure you if you don't have the proper removal tools. Look this stuff up before putting it on your face!

that scarring stuff is AWESOME
I was wondering the same thing and I tried it. I bought a latex and added brown foundation to it. Then worked with my skin tone. I am more of an olive brown. Obviously since we are darker work with dark reds and purples and browns around the scar area. If you want veins look at the inner part of your wrist and match the vein colour there. Mine is olive green and for some people it is purple or blue.

If you have had a scar before you will notice that it can be quite dark depending on your skin as well as the type of scar such as fire burn, a cut or tear. Don't use light pink unless you want it to look fake. Follow the technique she uses but with darker tones. And if you want to create depth around the scar use brown and purple on the edges but lightly. Studying colour theory and mixing colours really helps here.

Would this work if you wanted to use it for a Joker/Harley Quinn look? Or would the facepaint not work over the top of it? Or would it just not look as good, since the coloring of the scar is what most of the video is about?

Ok, here's a tip! Use this effect, then add the sewn up mouth fx and it'll look really cool if instead of making it look like a scar, you can turn it into a fresh wound look! Just a tip for anyone doing special fx Halloween looks! ❤️

I used Rigid Collodion for a marionette costume and I'll warn anyone who is going to use it: Eat before you apply!
I made the boo-boo of not eating before putting my make-up on (Because it was a barbeque as well as a costume party) and every time I opened my mouth to eat the collodion would rip off and it would sting like hell.
Though it is a very good item to use and can be bought on Ebay quite cheap.

If you're a deep colour, maybe go for a medium shade? Then you can use a deep purple or even a deep red colour. I wouldn't apply too much concealer on top though, because if you apply a light pink like that on a darker skin tone it might look a bit more artificial. I would powder it, and maybe, touch up with a darker pink shadow or even a purple. Just my interpretation xx.

I have used collodion on aloy of diffrent occasions and I love it to bits!! but the only problem I have is when using it anywhere close to the corners ov the mouth or where the skin moves alot because it more or less loosen by itself because it gets so stiff when it contracts the skin. it's sad really because I love the depth you can achieve with it without building outwards from the skin.
@muse151rock go to the mehron website and go to store locators and check call the store listed in your area. Call first though because just because they carry Mehron products does not mean they carry this product. I found out the hard way, but I did find a store that had it in stock :)

Go on amazon and look up mehron rigid collodion, you'll find it!
Just adapt the colour palette for your dark skin - e.g. the foundation and concealer as dark as you need them to be. Maybe experiment with the colour inside the scar to see what shade you like best. The scarring liquid itself is clear, and hence usable by all skintypes :-)

id follow all the steps she did and picking a foundation that is slightly lighter than your skincolour for the sickly look and a darker red to mark out your wanted scar

That's not at all rude ^^ I think you can just follow the same steps but alter them to your own skin tone. You know, just use darker shades of makeup to go with your complexion. Hope this helped~

NO! not only is polish bad to put on the face, its just start cracking and flake off and just doesnt do the same as the rigid collodion which was designed specifically for this effect
