But later a year or more when I went to the rail factory I saw there were many express and also local coaches which were just glazing in light and bright and the insides were also fantastic. As a child I asked my father and he explained me the things. Now while watching this video idk why I'm feeling like after this train being used regularly it'll have the deplorable conditions that I don't like to think..
Any luxury finally depends on how the general public uses it . Basic improvement in the use of rest rooms will go a long way in keeping it clean..Otherwise they will need a housekeeping team totally dedicated to keeping the rest rooms near and dry...

Later learnt that it belonged to a co passenger who is from USA visiting his parents 😛 How people behave differently in USA and in India 😛 I publicly shamed that country brute😡

Lastly people should at least educate themselves while onboarding this kind of trains, sounds not good but it’s truth. Also, IR to establish a quality system for maintenance of the coaches after every journey completed like washing, cleaning coaches internally with help of vaccume etc. It will really help to reduce the cleaning time and bring the good quality of cleanliness.
2nd AC cabins should have curtains like other express trains and Rajdhani's for some sense of privacy, other wise there is no such difference in 2nd & 3rd AC of this Vande Sleeper

Yes exactly. Even the normal seater Vande Bharat has the highest occupancy and revenue in Kerala compared to other states. It means malayalis will pay any money for better travel. People in other states want freebies and will travel even ticket less.

Every long distance train should have a pay and use type premium toilets. It can be on a separate 'wash room' compartment which can house 5 to 8 toilets cabins. The management of this can be through private party.
Now that we've an upgraded train for long distance travel, the next challenge is to 'upgrade' larger part of commuters' use and care for it, just as the need for India Today to hire reporters who have a sense of structured reporting in good English keeping the volume to a decent level. This is not luxury I would say this is basic amenities required in modern trains. Automatic transparent ac doors. Clean and working toilets, wide comfortable seats, Usually seats are either not wide or not comfortahle, better quality of food( That is atmost required), a open footstep to eliminate the gaps between platform and trains, Escalator in every foot over bridge required for old age peoples(Must to have). I personally prefer 1ac or 2nd ac because good civilians travel in them, still lack these servives
