Part of tsuchinoko folklore says they are a talking snake creature known for telling lies. I think that matches its effect pretty well. “If you catch me in the hand i won’t be summoned, hah! Just kidding I’m being summoned either way. Gotcha!”
I personally want more support for this archetype that allows it to be its own deck, like a danger scientist and capture vehicle and maybe some extra deck monsters as well
They really need: Option a) a level 1 tuner and 3 Syncros that need a danger tuner Option b) a good rank 3 xyz that could bring back to the hand a danger from the graveyard or field in other to try to pop the effects one More time
@@leonardobianucci6218 I mean I’m slightly biased but I would be cool to have them as a fusion archetype that combines the appearance of two or more of the main deck monsters. Than with the newer main deck support it provides extra benefits to the monsters like a recycling effect, some kind of protection on field, and maybe like a search on destruction effect while both the extra deck monster and that card is on the field. I’m not sure if that would be broken or borderline useless but to me it seems like a fun idea of making more Cryptids and having a team to support them.
A pure Danger! deck I feel works well with Skill Drain. Especially if you're just looking to aggro with the big beaters. Also, an often overlooked card in my opinion to go side to side as a poor man's Skill Drain, Powersink Stone. Seriously , it's potential in general is underlooked.
As far as conceptual aesthetics go, I really like dangers. A cryptozoology themed archetype where the opponent gets a peek of the monster and then has to try and find it again is really cool. I just wish, as the opponent in that situation, the other player got a slight benefit for correctly picking it out. Like, if the opponent doesn’t find it again, the monster’s control gets a GREAT reward. But if the opponent does find it, then BOTH players get an OKAY reward. But that’s just what I think.
But they have a reward. If they pick it right they miss the draw 1 card so the reward Is that the effects become a neutral in card advantage instead of a +1
You missed a card to add to the deck A Feather of the Phoenix Discard 1 card, then target 1 card in your GY; return that target to the top of your Deck. Powerful in a Danger! Deck
Along the line of thought of Tsuchinoko still summoning itself by shedding and getting away, you can almost say Jackalope cries out for help and whatever it summons js what came to help rescue it! Awesome video my dude!
Pot of Desires might be 1 in the TCG, but in Master Duel its still at 3! Danger Gren Maju is a REALLY awesome deck and very fun to play. Big number hit hard!
another archetypes that dangers can go together are the ladies of lament, which synergies around normal trap cards and the virus traps, the ones that tribute 1 dark monster to activate their effect and last for 3 of the opponent's turn.
I played against someone who used pure dangers once. The next time I dueled that person, they were using danger pk so well I can at least say I've seen one of the rarest decks to see, pure danger.
Really hope they get some extra deck representation in the future (like a wendigo, a skinwalker, goat man or some other bigger name cryptid OR for a twist the capture team reviving them or placing them back to hand)
Flashbacks of when I bought the whole Danger package at 3 with the idea to build a pure deck... then realize the mistake of it and then mixed them with DW xD problem solved.
I’ve been playing dangers in super quants, the field spell can really take advantage of the discard effects. And since the most relevant(for the deck anyway)dangers are all levels that line up with a super quant XYZ monsters, you can also just use them as materials on board if you’re in a pinch
3:52 that’s something I wouldn’t want to experience BUT it makes for interesting monster effect “If this monster is targeted, move it to your empty Monster Zone and Special Summon a “Shedding Token” with the same stats as this monster in the previous zone, then switch the target to that token.”
You forgot the show off the sick alt art for Bigfoot, so cool and shows how popular it was in it's heyday. Although for a second I couldn't find the alt art and though I just Mandela effected myself.
I use then in my súper quant deck. I use the field spell from súper quant to discard one card and make and xy. Then the effects of the discarded danger Let me put then on field or other danger some times. I use that danger plus any other quant to go into another xyz. The swarming Is amazing even when i rarely get to use the for the draw one card effects. This play make one or two beastick in the field. Múltiple interruptions for enemy turn and push for the final goal that Is to invoke great Magnus with 5 materials. Not gonna lie i Will the ideal Is going for 6 materials but that hardly happens PD: the deck also have the plus that most of the súper quant like to be discarded to active their effects. And they dont mind the randoness of the danger because the main combo of the súper quant is súper random because you dont control wich 3 effects you Will active when using their starter
Dragged down into the grave is a good card for danger decks. Both players reveal their hand and choose for a card to be discarded then draw 1 card. Get rid of problems in your opponent hand while they basically pick an effect for you to take advantage of
As someone who is trying to play the Albaz associated archetypes in Master Duel due to this channel, I found that Thunder bird goes well with Tri-Brigade and Mothman works surprisingly well in Spirgans
