Where the fuck is "Prisoners"?
I was thinking the same fucking thing!
That was a good ass movie i think Denis Villeneuve should direct the new season of True Detective :)
BasedOnParody season one was amazing, and Villenueve can make the second even better!
:)
in prison?

You should put the list in the description, cause whenever I find something interesting from hearing how you explained it, but I don't want to rewind it
***** its the last of us
should have done by category .. :(
2013? I never would have guessed...seriously, why did you mark every movie in the list with (2013)? Are any of the movies in the list NOT from 2013, or do you just think we're idiots?
This is my personal list:
Honorable Mentions:
The Wolverine
The Wolf of Wall Street
American Hustle
Pacific Rim
Rush
The Great Gatsby
World War Z
10. Oz The Great and Powerful
9. Gravity
8. 12 Years a Slave
7. Captain Phillips
6. Star Trek: Into Darkness
5. Frozen
4. The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug
3. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
2. Iron man 3
1. Man of Steel
Do any of you guys agree or disagree with this list?
No I don't agree with 12 years a slave
How about Frozen as a dishonorable mention on the worst movies of 2013 list
I actually really liked man of steel
Gravity? Iron Man 3? The Hunger Games? Frozen? What the fuck.
***** Um all i have to say is watch the wind rises then you'll agree with me. And all musicals are cheesy who on earth sings when ever they re talking and their voices are very ordinary in my opinion
Why does everyone hate Frozen so much? It has a good plot, good characters, and a heartfelt ending. So what's the deal? And don't say "because it sucks", real reasons.
I agree with you, it's not the typical Disney Princess that we see (no offense I love all the Disney Princesses) but I'm stating facts.
NO PRISONERS????? first time to be this disappointed Watchmojo.
The oscars snubbed it.. I expected better from mojo tho :'(
This channel never seems to talk about this movie. At all. Why? It's an great movie!
I agree! Prisoners was a masterpiece!
The Wolf Of Wall Street was way better than American Hustle in my opinion
agreed. American Hustle is a bit overhyped for the cast. Not that i mean the cast is bad, it is terrific. And not to say one is better than another but surely American Hustle does not quite live up to the expectation.
Critics disagree. American Hustle 93% on average while Wolf of Wall Street is only like a 77%. Only seen American Hustle, so can't comment my own opinion.
agreed
mjello506 "only" .Well, most of the time I don't agree with critics anyways, so I don't really care too much about ratings, but you should definitely watch The Wolf Of Wall Street it's a great movie ;)
American Hustle is not a bad movie, just overhyped imo.
Critics always overrate some movies(American Hustle). The Wolf Of Wall Street was much better than American Hustle. But both movies were awesome.
Wolf of Wall Street no.1
Lone Survivor should have been on this list, or in the honorable mentions. Mark Wahlberg and the rest of the cast did an awesome job portraying the soldiers who carried out Operation Red Wing.
Fick that baby killer American
Prisoners was wayyyyy better than anything on this list, that movie was a real thriller. I was literally on the edge of my seat throughout the whole movie.
It's probably one of my favorite movies of all time, the script was excellent, the suspense was intense, and Hugh Jackman's performance was astounding. This movie made the situation so realistic.
WatchMojo shows a clip from Pacific Rim for the best movies of the year but then shows a clip from Man Of Steel for the worst movies of the year...are you kidding me?
God, frozen is the most over rated fucking film.
It's so overhated just for being popular
Yeah frozen really sucks
Justin Burke Tangled had a much better story. but people seem to care more about songs...
Justin Burke i agree with you! Frozen is overrated! Big Hero 6 and Wreck it Ralph was way much better!
Yeah it is fucking overrated!
My Top 10 Movies of 2013

9. Captain Philips
8. Nebraska
7. Prisoners
6. Her
5. Gravity
4. 12 Years a Slave
3. American Hustle
2. Dallas Buyers Club
Honorable Mention : Wer're The Millers Before Midnight World's End Blue Jasmine
1. The Wolf of Wall Street
gatsby?
@@hristogeorgiev3203 no
so all the best pic noms
Rush?
Gravity should've been in the top 10, but not number 1, I feel like a lot of these films were on here because they're good indie films instead of good mainstream films, I was actually surprised a movie like Frozen (though I do agree with it's placement) was even considered judging from the adjudicator's point of view.
... What's wrong with a good indie film though? 8| Should we just ignore them in lieu of the mainstream ones? Is it bad to appreciate both?
VenomousSoliloquy I don't think there's anything wrong with an indie film, but remember that mainstream films are mainstream for a reason: popularity. Some of history's most mainstream films are considered "indie." The best example I can think of are the likes of Terminator and Rocky, very low budgets and breakout or not as well known stars that became box office favorites due to their roles in those films. The reason nobody calls Terminator an "indie" film is because of how big it got, but technically it is just as indie as some of the films featured on this list.
Nick Akers I think the term indie is used too loosely. Actual indie films are made by nobodys with $2 budgets, while these would be classified as limited released films. Having a star like Justin Timberlake or Scarlett Johansson in your movie makes it far from being a real indie. Also some "indie films do not get popular because of their limited releases, so not everyone can see them.
Nick Akers You have have absolutely no idea what an indie movie actually is.
Am I the only person who thinks that Gravity is quite overrated? IMHO, I think that the movie was just a theme park ride filled with lots of 3-D & one shot gimmicks with annoying dialogue from Sandra Bullock and thin plot. The visuals and sound design was awesome though. Not trying to hate but just saying.
concept is cool but then it just suck donkey sized dildos
chromefox4
Truer words never spoken.
gravity is SOOO OVERRATED. its effects were amazing.. but honestly. its simply about how only on astronaut made it back home after floating in space throughout the whole movie, after an accident in space. the end. point blank: the plot is weak.
It's actually about loneliness and survival, which are pretty universal themes.
Thankyou, I totally agree with you, the effects were good but the science in it (exluding the "Sound can't travel through space") was absolutly rubbish. Also the plotline was boring with no real soul or point. Please, watch Interstellar if your looking for a good space film.
I don't think is something like number 1. But, it is good, not because "it is about this and that". Is good, because of the experience it provides. At least i came out of the theaters amazed and dizzy.
Laurie Petrucci Interstellar was awesome.
Sandra Rose agreed
U put gravity on first place and not even a mention on prisoners u guys put this list based on what stupid people watch and not in what is supposed to be a good movie!!!
Man of Steel, Captain Phillips and Rush need to be on here
Both Man of Steel and Rush has a love/hate following. Some think Man of Steel is so far from what Superman really is, that it doesn't feel like Superman anymore, and others don't like Rush (me included), because it paints James Hunt as a hero and Niki Lauda as a bad guy, when it should have been about two equal rivals competing for the championship
How does rush paint the characters like that? It shows how Hunt was all about living the life while Niki cared about being the best
skynet091287 I think Man of Steel is a fantastic movie and I feel losing some of Superman's cliché hero characteristics in order to create a more moving and interesting epoch was a good choice.
Credit to you sir
Captain America 2 or 1?
To the people who say Gravity sucked, the reason why Gravity was such an amazing film was due to the cinematography, soundtrack, effects, and the way it was written. The film was designed to make you feel just as tense and feel the anxiety of the astronaut which other people clearly felt as they were watching (or else the film wouldn't have done so well). The story was also subtle but not non-existent. It was very well done.
Also, just saying, but you may notice that most of the people who criticize Gravity for being "boring" are of a younger generation. Not saying that's bad, but our generation is just not used to this type of film with subtle plots and tension that gradually builds up. We're exposed more to the high-paced, fast-action, in-your-face plots that are just handed to us, type movies that honestly aren't very good quality as works of art. That includes films like the Avengers, etc.
My parents even said it was boring and they play shirades for fun.
D2 Productions i wouldn't trust their judgement if they play shirades for fun
Perfect way to put it. People need to see the deeper meaning in this movie. It appeals to the people who think outside of the conformed society and the ones who ask the questions. Get unplugged from the fictional mind control and try to experience something incredible. Breath, feel, vibe, and look at the deeper meaning of this movie.
Oh looks like someone can’t accept the fact people don’t like Gravity. Maybe you should just accept that other people have opinions. I didn’t like Gravity, just accept it. To you, I’m not saying no-one should like Gravity but I don’t and you should just move on rather than try to make everyone change their opinion and get angry when people go “No, maybe I don’t have to like Gravity”. We don’t all have to like Gravity. I personally didn’t like it because it was really boring and tedious in my opinion but I get that people like it. So maybe you shouldn’t watch movies if you’re gonna get this cross about the fact people don’t like flippin Gravity. We’re not hurting anyone saying we don’t like the movie. We’re just saying we didn’t enjoy it. Also, big-budget Hollywood epics can be art! The Avengers was a great movie and so were the Iron Man movies. We didn’t just like them because they were in-your-face and fast-paced movies, we liked them because they were well-acted, well-written and above all, enjoyable. And if you just write of all big-budget Hollywood epics as “never any good” and “not high quality works of art”, you’re gonna miss some great movies. So maybe start accepting opinions and stop writing off all big-budget Hollywood epics as terrible. After all, are you going to dismiss something like Inception as not good art and tell everyone else to not like it just because it’s a big-budget Hollywood epic?
1. The Place Beyond the Pines
2. Dallas Buyers Club
3. Prisoners
4. Wolf of Wall Street
5. Her
6. 12 Years A Slave
7. Inside Llewelyn Davis
8. Blue is the Warmest Color
9. Captain Phillips
10. The World's End
HM: Hunger Games: Catching Fire,
Rush, Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug,
Pacific Rim, Gravity, The Conjuring
Apparently Gravity and Frozen are highly overrated, but over 90% of the comments I've read about either movie mention how overrated they are, and less than 10% actually praise them...Overrated my ass, more liked over-hated.
You make sense
While I agree, I wouldn't say they're over hated. Approximately 1,000,000 people use youtube, and that's 1/7 of the worlds population, or approximately 14%. You say that approximately 90% of those comments say they're overrated, and 90% of 14 is 12.6. So if we assume that EVERY SINGLE UA-cam USER is in those comments, it's still only 12.6 percent of the global population at maximum. No disrespect, just facts and figures.
+Surf John I meant 1,000,000,000 instead of 1,000,000
The funny thing is that watchmojo praised these movies in this video and on their TOP10 OVER-RATED movies listfrozen and gravity took place in it, what a hypocrites xD
fares issa That doesn't mean they're terrible lol. I don't even think that movies can be overrated, people like what they like, and if they become very popular, then that's alright.
No Prisoners or The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug? :'(
Do not agree with this list. Sorry WatchMojo.com.
My top 10 that I saw
1- The Wolf of Wall Street
2- American Hustle
3- Frozen LMAOOO
4- Fast & Furious 6
5- Anchoman 2
6- Prisoners
7- 12 years of Slave
8 - World War Z
9 - Captain Phillips
10 - Man of Steel!!!!
I know its 5 years late but i think you put these in reverse order
no fast and furious 6 it is overrated
you should replace gravity instead of fast and furious 6
Prisoners should be 2 even though in 6 years late
I was agreeing with this list until i saw Gravity at number 1.
I mean, it was the most BORING movie of 2013.
To each his own, i guess...
It's just 75 minutes of Sandra Bullock screaming:" HELP HELP HELP AAAAAAAA I CANNOT BREATH AAAAAAHHAHA HELP AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HELP JESUS HEEEEEEELP AAAAHHAN I CANNOT BREATH!"
Yet it won 7 Oscars.
People are so dumb nowadays.
When i read that people say that this movie was boring, i think that really moviegoers are in extinction.
The effects were cool, but the story sucked.
I play a lot of video games and I care about gameplay more then story (just what I like best), but in a movie I really care a lot more about the story and characters, gravity had no character development and a stupid plot hole filled story. All character traits I can think of in Ryan stone are that her father wanted a boy, her daughter died (which is done poorly without any flash backs or detail) and that she is a doctor. Also she gets angry a lot. And is complete useless in times of trouble.
Arlindo Melo It's like in the episode of Last Airbender when they were leaving the show. "... but the effects were decent"
Ironman 3, The Hobbit 2, Man of Steel, and Thor 2 don't even get an honorable mention? Not one of them? Really?
***** True True. Even Know I think it wasn't that bad.
What about the wolverine?
Christian Stotts
haha your funny!
lol because they're all fucking terrible
Man of Steel was just boring
Don't a lot of people hate gravity?
I do not like "Frozen". I think it's seriously overrated. The rock trolls are annoying, the songs are bad (though memorable), the drama and such feels too forced, and the animation is wrong--this film would have worked a lot better with traditional Disney 2-D animation. The only thing I did like was the villain.
jw8395 I hated every part of the movie. It just doesn't make any sense.
SMUS16475
We get a small clue about Hans' evil when he says he's got a bunch of older brothers, and thus can't inherit the throne. That's actually kind of realistic.
jw8395 I don't even feel like talking about the godforsaken movie. That's how bad it is.
SMUS16475
Eh, as bad as it was, "Home on the Range" and "Chicken Little" were even worse.
jw8395 Chicken Little was not worse than Frozen.....why would you think that?
My 10: 10) The Hobbit: desolation of Smaug 9) enemy 8) prisoners 7) rush 6) frozen 5) 12 years a slave 4) gravity 3) the tale of the princess kaguya 2) her 1) the wolf of Wall Street
Prisinores is probably in my TOP 5 of all time.
I just KNEW you guys were going to have Gravity at number 1. Most overrated movie of 2013.
Catching fire was better
So, you basically put Gravity on the number 1 spot because of its realistic attributes, but won't even put Pacific Rim into honorable mentions? Thanks for the logical list.
Gravity isn't realistic in the slightest! The ISS is 420 km up. The Hubble is 590 and much more inclined. Medical Engineers don't go to space, let alone to replace computational hardware. Critical comms satellites are not 400-600km up. A debris field with a 90 minute orbit period is moving in the opposite direction to craft with a 90 minute orbit period. They should collide once every 45 minutes, not every 90. The Tiangong station is 300 km up at least by the film's standards of distances in orbit, yet enters the 100km atmosphere without thrust applied. If comms satellites are knocked out, there is no reason that a Greenlandic Inuit can contact a spacecraft when NASA, the bloody space agency, cannot.
Dude, Pacific Rim was pure garbage. The only thing it had going for it was massive amounts of CGI, and even that wasn't as good as the hype. It was a Micheal Bay-esque special-effects romp with way more flash than substance. The plot was ridiculous, the acting was sub-par at best, and the writing was atrocious. Just because a lot of people went "Oooooh, pretty... robots killing monsters... )drool(" doesn't mean it was a good movie.
Fuck you Pacific Rim was awesome. Shut your piehole
The reason why we don't like movies like Pacific Rim is because we've seen the same... exact...thing...every time. But just different plot. That's why the younger generation prefers Pacific Rim because it's more of an action time flick, rather than the older generation, which prefer movies with more "realism" because they've already seen the same movie.. over.. and ...over again
Colin Taylor-McGrane Easy now keyboard warrior. Pacific Rim is just a generic blockbuster.
My Best of 2013:
20. Joker Rising
19. Iron Man 3
18. Thor: The Dark World
17. The Way Way Back
16. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

7. The Spectacular Now
6. Man of Steel

WTF! FROZEN?! 2013?!
LIKE THAT IS SH*T! I watched Froezen like 2 days ago...
The world doesn't revolve around you. A film's year isn't based on when you personally watched it. What an obnoxious idiot you are.
I really don't like Frozen!!
Chill.
Was Frozen really THAT good? Come on now.
I couldn't agree more! It's good to know that I'm not the only person that thinks this
Frozen was AMAZING. Le it go ftw!
I can't describe how much i fucking hate you "Mistr Gaming"
Spineshot25 And I can't describe how incorrect you spelt my UA-cam name. It's Mistr Gamer.
Ben Frey After I watched this list the first thing I did was watch the movie and I have to say that it is an actually pretty good movie. Well it does not really fall into my area of interest but I think I know why this movie is on this list.
The Hobbit was the best movie of 2013. It was on bar with the Return of The King. Are you kidding me? Giving the 1st spot to a over-rated movie because Clooney and Bullocks are in it? That's some bullshit.
Also, where's Prisoners? That movie was just amazing.
Neither of the Hobbits come anywhere close to any of the movies in the original trilogy; but hey, that's just your opinion. It's definitely wrong, (wrong like how it's not "on bar", but "on par.") but I should still respect your opinion.
The hobbit had to be the fucking worst movie of the year sorry bud :(
While The Hobbit was good, all of these movies were better. It would probably be number 11. And honestly, did you just compare The Hobbit to ROTK? No movies will ever come close to Return of the King, ever.
It's their opinion. Stop getting so butthurt over it....
Yeah you're right, didn't mean to sound so upset.
Interstellar was a million times better than gravity
It was also made in 2014.
No, Leon, shut the fuck up.
Interstellar was still way better
Well yes, but it didn't receive that much critical acclaim than Gravity
Interstellar: 72 percent loved it
Gravity: 97 percent loved it.
DavidMMM Well at least it's #26 on the IMDb top 250 list. Gravity is not even in there.
The Wolf of Wall Street and Man of Steel were my two personal favorites.
I really don't understand why Prisoners doesn't get any recognition anywhere. I think it's one of the top 5 best movies of 2013. It was extremely well acted by the entire cast, it's a well-written, extremely suspenseful movie, and is just overall well done. I really have no idea at all why it hasn't gotten any attention by the Academy or anywhere else.
I was thinking the same thing, at least an honorable mention, the film was amazing. I think it's definitely the most underrated film of 2013, even though it was acclaimed, it was quickly forgetten.
The rest of this list is perfect but GRAVITY?! It was unwatchable! An hour and a half of Sandra Bullock being scared. That's it. No plot.
good on ya! i hated that fucking movie!
WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT
Keith Carlson
what? please dont...
CharlieStoleMyCookie Find your cookie first you dumb girl, and then come here to talk about movies!
CharlieStoleMyCookie Oh ! would you care if I do it or not ?
There are a lot of movies I think should be on here, for example, Captain Phillips and Rush, but if I were to re-arrange the list it would look like this:
10. Gravity
9. Frozen
8. Before Midnight
7. American Hustle
6. Inside Llewyn Davis
5. Her
4. Catching Fire
3. Dallas Buyers Club
2. 12 Years A Slave
1. The Wolf of Wall Street
+Michael Erhard Nice list. You need to watch Prisoners with Jake Gyllenhaal
+Nick Chavez Ya I've seen that, that should definitely be on this list, it's very good
Indeed. Also another movie that is probably one of my favorites from this year is The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. People have had mixed opinions about it but I really loved it. Check it out for sure if you haven't seen it. :)
Haha I've also seen that, really good too!
Look, "Gravity" is a great film, but "12 Years a Slave" deserve the 1st place
Agreed
PoderosoAnime3103 Nah I dont agree with that, The wolf of wall street should be number 1.
Nope! Gravity is the true phenomenon! Not 12 Years a Slave!
KnogbA You're Crazy! The Wolf of Wall Street was the worst! I 80 percent disliked it! It was 3 hour longs for a comedy movie! And besides, American Hustle was way much better! !!
DavidMMM I don't agree with you, I still think the wolf of wall street is the greatest movie of 2013 :D. I enjoyed the wolf of wall street more then the other movies in this list. And yes sir maybe I'm a little nuts ;). Thats maybe why I've watched the wolf of wall street about 7 times or something. Still love it :D
Captain Phillips is the most underrated movie ever. So much better then most of the films on this list.
I LOVE THAT MOVIE!
(It's 34 Times better than''Gravity'')
***** I mean C.P had:
better story, better actors, likable characters, better action, better dialogue ,and one of the best endings of 2013.
Again 34 times better than that ''Movie''called ''Gravity''and all those other ''movies''(in my opinion)
I agree!
Frank Dujardin What about The Wolf of Wall Street? That movie was a masterpiece.
Michael Colby That movie is a masterpiece.
Gravity is soooo fucking over-rated. Also, Lone Survivor & Prisoners should be on here, at least an honorable mention.
lone survivor honourable prisoners top 5 gravity 10
ye lone survivor was probably the best war movie in a long long time. imo it is better than saving private ryan and I loved that film.
Okay we're the millers should be on here and wolf of wall street should be number 1
+Julie Bieber YES, but your name makes me think otherwise DAMMIT
+Justin Troll lol
why does everyone love gravity? that movie was horrible. all it was was sandra bullock floating through space for 2 hours. frankly i think after earth was a pretty good movie and the best of 2013
After Earth was on the Worst Films of 2013 list.
said the 5 year old
Not two hours 75 minutes. That movie was good but it was way too short.
I agree about gravity, but after earth is
Pretty bad. But, you can have your own opinion.
BurnTheController I didnt watch after earth but the acting looked awful from Jaden.
Puts Man of steel in Worst Movies of 2013
Puts Iron Man 3 in Best Movies of 2013
Cool Watchmojo
No, they didnt. And no they didnt.
They have a list of 10 Best/Worst movies and the rest are just movies from 2013. Basic logic. Same here.
Did you watch this video? Iron Man isn't on there.
Nelson Cruz TheLoneWolfCz They didn't put Man of Steel on the list but they had a clip in the video of the Worst movies of 2013 at the end. And in this video they put a clip of Iron man 3. So while they're not the the list they are still in the video which is Watch Mojo's way of saying "we didn't forget about this one"
Yea, they are showing the clip of IM 3 in Best Films, and showing Clip of MOS in Worst Movies. The Heck does that mean ?
***** It means they showed a clip. The clips are just filler, but if it wasn't named then it's not on the list.
1. 12 Years a Slave
2. Dallas Buyers Club
That's all you need to know.
Frozen ,the hunger games catching fire ,The wolf of wall street ,This is the end and gravity was the most amazing movie of this year
Gravity is undoubtedly the giant of 2013. In a time of total absence of good and original ideas, that film speaks and stands for itself. The technical aspect and the very risky option of setting the action in space, around realistic space exploration, a choice allowing much less sci-fi, not physically posible is just mind blowing. In this film, many of the human virtues can be found, and just space exploration as background, showing how one of deepest human aspirations is to transced our places of origin and the need to know about what is out there, is utterly glorious. A film for history.
geez. .serious? gravity.. lemme guess.. Avatar was your #1 pick of that year too
Gravity was pretty amazing. There are some hidden beautiful symbolic meanings that you get only when you watch the movie a second time.
Nirinsanity i noticed some already just like how shes a fetus etc.. but ya.. everyone has their own preferences its fine.. the only thing i hated about the movie is that i felt like... i was FORCED.. to feel like im watching a dramatic scene... if that makes sense.. not like just letting it be natural.. too much over dramatics in this movie.. and dont get me started w/ the satellite debris that rotated around the world every hr.. yet only engage and become a problem to her as she gets to each station... which somehow all survived the 2-3 other rotations of the debris and didnt get impacted or destroyed.. UNTIL she got there. .. ya.. dramatic
WylunCustoms its gonna win an oscar.. just accept it
Why do people have problem with Gravity? Its a brilliant movie. In my opinion this list is done really well. People are just pissed that it didn't have Iron Man 3 or some other action blockbuster. Get over it!
Shahriar Syed Thaaaank You.
My Top 10 Movies of 2013:
Honorable Mention: American Hustle
Honorable Mention: Despicable Me 2
#10 Dallas Buyer's Club
#9 Philomena
#8 The Wolf of Wall Street
#7 Captain Phillips
#6 Ender's Game
#5 Gravity
#4 The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug
#3 The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
#2 Frozen
#1 12 Years a Slave
Pain and Gain
I love it !
vusal mamedov Huh, I never saw that one.
I respect this list!
TVBnine Why, thank you :)
You put Ender's Game HIGHER than Wolf of Wall Street? I'd change that.
I think having Captain Philips as an honorable mention is doing the film an injustice.
yes tom hanks and barkhad abdi performance is good
I seem to be the only one who liked We're the Millers...
Icebomb5 I though that movie was great. I laughed the whole way and enjoyed it sooooo much.
Icebomb5 it was so fucking stupid XD
It was so good.
no it wasn't
It was okay
I loved Pacific Rim and think it deserved a spot on the list....but then again I'm a sucker for both sci-fi and alien invasion films.
It was one of my favorites, if not my favorite, but don't think the writing and story is good enough to be on the top 10. The movie is wicked awesome, and the CG easily the best I've seen. But the plot was a bit predictable, and the writing a bit cliche. Still a great movie though.
I'm surprised the Hobbit wasn't on here.
haha i watched gravity for 5 minutes then walked out...
The opening shot itself is 17 minutes so obviously you're an idiot. You can't judge a movie by less than a full scene.
Shouldn't have walked out on the trailer. Might have saved you the trip.
I'm sorry that you only like Adam Sandler comedies.

Neither Frozen, Gravity, Only God Forgives, Star Trek Into Darkness, Iron Man 3, Man of Steel, Monsters University are not that great at this decade. They're all overrated and suck. Thank you.
Nah I don't think sooo they deserved what they got to be honest just saying, thank you next.
Never heard of #10...
Never heard of #9
Frozen was good, until you've watched it so many times and so many say it it's the first movie to Blah Blah Blah...
Frozen. first movie to: Show sibling relationships: "Lilo & Stitch." To show are girl can fight for themselves: "Mulan" First movie to show why getting married to someone on the first day: Enchanted.
Catching Fire was AMZING. No more words needed.
I wouldn't mind seeing Dallas Buyers Club... but my parents say not until i'm older...
Same with Wolf Of Wall Street...
Never seen "Her"
I really wanna see American Hustle
I want to see 12 years a slave so badly, I love history, I hate racism, It looks so emotional, it's only MA and I'm not aloud to see it because it's apparantly really graphic.
Still need to see Gravity.
Looks like you've only seen movies that were directed towards teen girls, and by the way you described Frozen, you wouldn't like the others. They're a little too mature for you. And you seem to be a teenage girl as well, so...
You say I like Teen Girl films I will kill you. I hate a lot of films my classmates like! Too mature? Really? I have now seen 12 Years a slave and WOW! powerful movie. The only reason I see movies directed towards teenage girls is because my Dad likes me to watch those films where as my Mum will tell you otherwise. Seen Gravity now. That was an amazing movie. I prefer Powerful films or Horror Films compared the movies everyone teenage girl loves. An if you say I watch Horror Films for actors or adrenaline because the thing is Horror Films don't scare me one bit. Please keep from calling teenage girls who hate teenage girls, teenage girls.
Natasha Chase Whatever floats your boat Snapback Princess lol
You should watch Her, I even recommend it for the 'simpler' kind like yourself
;)
Only joking, sort of
jack napier She won't understand Her. I recommend How To Train Your Dragon 2 or The Fault In Our Stars for the Princess.
Gravity as number 1?
Where on earth is 'Prisoners'? Not even as a honorable mention?
I mean Jesus...
ikr!!! I can't believe Prisoners wasn't mentioned!!! It was one of the best movies last year in my opinion. And I personally think the cast did an amazing job acting
Same here! If anything I would say that the acting was the best part of the whole film.
*GRAVITY?* Motherf*cking Gravity? That movie had no plot whatsoever. The trailer is basically the whole movie.
Yeah had a couple hours worth of heavy breathing and screamin and speach
You must see it as a fight for survival, SPOILERS: She lose her daugther, drive her car everynight after work to nowhere expecting to die, go in space to help future generation and expect to maybe die, then shit happen and in the scene where she enter the station and sleep like a baby in a woumb she make the decision to survive and fight for her life, then at the end when she go out of the water she walk like a newborn for the first time. It's a beautifull metaphoric story about survival, human will and relation between human and nature/space. Sorry bad engligh but you get the point ;)
Literally, the only movie I've saw or even heard of was Frozen....
Gravity was boring as hell and the main woman was horrible, it gets way too much credit.
sums up as AH, AH, AHHH, AH, AH, AHHHHH, anyone copy, AH AH AH AH AH AH AH UH UH UH UH I CANT BREATH AH AH UH UH
Niksy has written the lyrics to the gravity soundtrack.
Oh come on! The only reason Gravity gets as much praise as it does is because it actually managed to put 3D to good use, but take that away and you're left with a poor man's Moon
Literally the same thing as Avatar. Brilliant 3D and effects, but take that away and its just Pocahontas with aliens.
Gravity should be in the top 10 of the worst and bored movie 2013
It was kinda boring and didnt make sense
Colin Goins space cowboy was 100 times better then this movie :)
Pacific Rim should've been on this list, or at least an honorable mention. Very successful movie and so many people loved it. The video added a clip in the beginning but it was talking about mediocre movies. A bunch of bullshit to add PR. It was a thrill ride from beginning to end.
+Alexis Yeah. Replace frozen with pacific rim please.
What is everyone's problem with gravity? Great movie
The Hobbit Desolation of Smaug should have at least made top five and I didn't even see it on the list, not even an honourable mention. Shameful. Otherwise great list.
Are you kidding? That movie was a joke. I left the theatre feeling like I had just watched a five million dollar fan fiction. Peter Jackson is pissing all over his legacy.
SarcasticShannon You are a fool
Prisoners? Most underrated movie of practically all time. And Gravity is only good for theaters.
My personal list:
10. Pacific Rim
9. Thor: The Dark World
8. Star Trek: Into Darkness
7. Hunger Games: Catching Fire
6. Man of Steel
5. The Wolf of Wall Street
4. 12 Years a Slave
3. Captain Phillips
2. The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug
1. Gravity
Thor the dark world better than The Wolverine or even Iron Man 3 are you mad
I was with ya up until "Gravity", which I just didn't feel cut the mustard. Compared to space epics like "2001: A Space Odyssey" and "Apollo 13", this one seemed flat, with an uneven plot and lack of suspense. I'd agree that the performances were good, though.
Rush is the best movie I have ever seen. It is the movie of the year, movie of a lifetime and that is just my opinion. Went to see Rush and I was blown away
when i saw the wolf of wall street at #5 i paused the video, typed this comment and now im going to turn my computer off... bye
Why
I've seen 59 movies from 2013 so far. Haven't seen Dellas Buyers Club or Before Midnight or Inside Mr. Davis, but here is my personal top 10 as it stands.
10. The Family (73/100)
9. Her (74/100)
8, 7 and 6. We're The Millers, Paranoia and Oblivion (all 75/100)
5. Blue Jasmine (76/100)
4. Lone Survivor (78/100)
3. Catching Fire (79/100)
2. Frozen (82/100)
1. Gravity (88/100)
Rush is still one of my fav movies ever. It captures the 1978 Formula 1 world championship perfectly, and the relationship between James Hunt and Niki Lauda
I disliked Gravity. Bullock's character was stupid (taking her helmet and only source of oxygen off in a capsule filling with fire and water - as a firefighter I was screaming at the screen, and that's only one offense) and the fact that despite almost all momentum being taken out of his movement, Clooney's character drifted away into space in a meaningless death. If he was pulling her off with enough force to dislodge her from the ropes of the parachute, his sacrifice means nothing because it wouldn't have removed her momentum and she should have drifted off too. Sorry if you liked the movie, just my rant. My wife thought much better of it.
Really Gravity is your number one? And Her at number four? Why is The Hunger Games even on here? This whole list is invalid.
Because hunger games deserves it.
Really hurt that Snowpiercer did not make the list. My favorite movie of that year.
Am i the only one that actually enjoyed watching Gravity?
Pipsty you are right
Yes..
@@faizahaseeb5319 I liked it too....
@@michaelbozas i liked the movie too... But the commenter is saying that he ENJOYED the movie!! He did'nt said that he liked it... He enjoyed it... I did'nt enjoyed it but I LIKED IT!!!!! 😊
@@faizahaseeb5319 Most of the time liking something equals enjoying it. Some times not if it's depressing, but I bet the commented was implying that he liked it.
Not even an honourable mention for the Hobbit? Seriously? Look I know not everyone liked it, but come on, you have to admit that it was a marked improvement over the previous movie which I feel was already a great movie.
the first one was kinda wack.it was boring but the desolation of smaug was kinda nice but nothing major.
A marked improvement over the first one is really saying something since the first one was effing awesome. :)
They were both shit films
I fall asleep during the last half part of the movie.. point made.
What point is that? That you were tired while you were watching a 3 hour long movie?
I am offended that Iron man 3 shows up in this list
Congratulations! I dont´t give a fuck
Why did u hate it so much? I thought it was great.
he is just jelous that it made so much money
iron man 3 was shit and 2 was only a little bit better
Zingol Glom I am not jealous of a director that kicked the balls of half of the fans of Ironman and The Mandarin...
Gravity was boring. Half the movie was about her spinning and breathing hard. But whatever
You probably would've preferred mindless action. You people are so easily entertained.
Gravity summarized: [Breath hard], [someone dies], aaaa aaaa aaaa aaaa, [floating around], more aaaa aaaa aaaa, [somehow makes it back to Earth], and... the end.
Ya and those visuals can be made by a 5th grade teacher right. No movie has been made where 99.99% takes place in space. It’s a big leap in cinema. Every other space movie started on land. Gravity started from space and ended where we belong on earth. It was not just visually stunning, it was an emotional roller coaster. No wonder why it got the most Oscars that year.
GRAVITY?! #1?! THESE PEOPLE WOULDN'T KNOW A GOOD MOVIE IF IT BIT THEM IN THE ASS!!!
No Man of Steel?!
Man of Steel was one of the biggest piece of shit let downs I've ever seen.
skitzopanic97 agreed, man of steel was a very disappointing movie. Gravity in the other half was acclaimed by the critics.
Man of Steel was shit, The Best super hero movie i ever seen was The Dark Knight. The Joker just made it so good, the way he defeated Batman made it awsome, he blew up a hospital and Batman couldnt do a thing to stop it. Man of Steel feelt like other super hero movies, at the end i knew he was gowing to win, kiss Lois and fly in the background.
I think Gravity is overrated as hell, but saying Man Of Steel... No. NO. NO FUCK NO.
The characters are flatter than chest of an olympic swimmer, the plot doesn’t even start until half way through the movie, and the whole thing is so predictable that, even if you lived under a rock for the last hundred years and you didn’t know what Superman is, you would still had known how the movie would end.
Also, sorry not sorry, but Superman blew my Gary Stu O-meter (Google “Gary Stu” to see what I’m talking about).
The ONLY things that saved the movie were:
1. The special effects (or maybe it’s that my expectations on them lowered thanks to some movies).
2. The soundtrack is my guilty pleasure. Some found it annoying and ridiculous, but I found it fitting.
3. The sort-of-logical explanation behind Superman’s powers.
That aside, Man Of Steel was BUH-LAND.
Hahaha! Man of Steel! SERIOUSLY?! That's your defense?!
This comment is so ironic!
Aparently thousands of kids were expecting to see Man of Steel, Iron Man 3, Thor 2, Star Trek or Fast and Furious 6 insted of films like American hustle, 12 years a slave, etc.
Lol, why say kids? Most of those movies originated in the 70s-80s, superman: 80s, iron man: 80s thor: 80s Star Trek? well, its the 80s im pretty sure, but Star Trek and Man of Steel deserved spots on this list. FAF6 was good, but not top 10 of the year. none others deserve it but i think Man of Steel and Star Trek do.
COD71248 Man of steel was so bad it took me 3 attempts to stay awake till the end. However, i did like the scene where laurence fishburne was risking his life trying to save his co-worker. imo that was the one good thing out of the entire movie
Where da hell is Pacific rim? It aint on honorable mentions or the list >:(
I don't get tired of Inside Llewyn Davis, the soundtrack is straight up perfect
Not much mention of it in the comments but Her really was fantastic.
Johny40Se7en It is awesome, go watch it :)
Top 5:
5. World War Z
4. Iron Man 3
3. Man of Steel
2. Catching Fire
1. The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug
Man of steel?
Superman man of steel
Leon Yong I know what man of steel is I'm saying why did u included it
Oh i see
"The Butler" had me crying more than "12 years a slave".
My top 5:
1. The Butler
2 12 Years a slave
3. The wolf of Wall St
4. Grown Ups 2
5.Captain Phillips
Dallas buyers club, Hunger Games Catching Fire and The Wolf Of Wall Street still remain as some of the best films of the 2010-2019 era of pop culture
You put a clip of "Man of Steel" in worst movies, and now you put one of "Iron Man 3" in best?
LOL ikr
Iron man 3 had structure to it's story, Man of steal had nothing on what the first film involving Zodd had to offer.
yeah but that Iron Man twist with the mandarin made almost all fans so angry.they made it look realistic but it ruined everything.
they where both good movies in my mind.
Pazzo MC
Just because a couple fans are pissed off doesn't mean it's a bad movie. They did something new and fresh with an old, outdated villain that would probably just seem racist today if they did it exactly like the comics. Also seeing as its the highest grossing film of the year, people oviously weren't too mad at it
How dare you to not include the hobbit 2 come and not even a honarble mention WHAT THE FACK
it deserved a 10 at the very least but imo it really peed me off with that cliff hanger. I did enjoy it though.
i completely agree. it is in my top 5
I can't believe this is the end wasn't an honourable mention , in my opinion I would of put it in the top 10 , I loved it so much
Her was absolutely incredible. I was so skeptic to it but the movie brought me to tears. Everything about it was perfect.
To be honest, I didn't think Gravity lived up to the hype. Granted, it had good effects, and excellent acting on Bullock's part, but the plot was not my favorite.
Gravity was a fantastic experience but you cant compare to most other films on the list, should have been number 10 maybe. and American Hustle was pretty close to being terrible :/
Wolf of wall street is a master piece.Di Caprio's character was hard, complex.I loved everything about that film. Her and 12 years of slave ware good too
my list
10. Now you see me
9. Carrie
8. Prisoners
7. 12 years a slave
6. Warm Bodies
5. Stoker
4. This is the End
3. Her
2. Kick ass 2
1. Rush
Honorable mentions: Place beyond the pines, Inside Llewyn Davis
12 years a slave should be #1. People just like Gravity because it looks cool. 12 years a slave is based on real historical events and brings up many themes and emotions, and it should beat Gravity by a longshot.
Meh Gravity and American Hustle are overrated.
true.
You're not wrong there.
This is kind of a stupid question, but are the honorable mentions movies that didn't make the list but were close (if that makes sense), or are they honorable mentions for the #1 spot?
gravity was extremely bad and boring, It was many times worser than I expected before watching
You're wrong, Gravity was an amazing movie
It was a good movie but it's completely overrated and it shouldn't be number 1. Maybe top 5 but no way in hell number 1.
AlejandroBoyII totally agree
