it's a shame premiere doesn't have more customisation functionality with this. it would be so easy to integrate effects that use graphics/text like this with Premiere's native "Essential Graphics" tab for font, colour, etc.

I totally agree, premiere should have the ability to do that and to animate text like in after effects would be great feature to have.
