So happy for Bublik, hope he maintains this form in WImbledon and not throw it away like he usually does
Bublik is like Kyrgious minus the arrogance, both are fun to watch though
1 week tournament 2 sets. Vs 2 weeks tournament 3 sets... Not sure he can be good for 2 weeks..
Hopefully he can maintain this current form!
In best of 5 sets in Wimbledon
It will be
1.Novak Djokovic
2.Carlos Alcaraz
3.Andrey Rublev
4. Daniel Medvedev
Imran Say 👍❤️🇨🇮
It's like watching a different player when Bublik is focused and not clowning about trying to entertain the crowd. Incredible stuff. If he stays focused like this he will go far at Wimby.
It’s actually even more entertaining like that IMHO.
@@iansmirna5183 More entertaining when he plays seriously you mean?
Yes, he changed the racquet and is an entirely different player. (Same medvedev, same swiatek).
@@iansmirna5183 Agreed. He could be a top 5 player challenging for slam titles if he continues like this.
@@rvtsecure7404 Not ambitious. He beat former number 2 Zverev yesterday in straights and a former top 5 player today. He's definitely top 5 material.
Congratulations Bublik on the biggest title of your career so far, way to go
Isn't this his second Halle title?
@@theviniso nah, second final but first title
@@tomassilva9239it’s his first final in Halle
Wimbledon's next. Only an on fire Carlos Alcaraz could/should/would stop him!
@rafaundisputedgoat4291 damn where’s your rafa this year ? Oh right he lost to McDonald at the AO, impressive from your “goat”
it's pure joy to watch Bublik play seriously like this. let's hope he does so week in week out.
I hoped he could do so in Geneva
Week-in, week-out might be too much to ask for immediately; I just hope we see this attitude from him at Wimbledon.
I think he's permanently changed, he'll be serious all the time now.
He won’t he’s a professional match fixer like karatsev
@@blucat4 Carlos/Sergei final!
I never thought he’d ever be able to play seriously long enough to go deep in any tournament! I love the joy he exudes while playing. So happy to see him win one of these things!
+@thomaskorah4115 You love the joy he exudes while playing but he's the one who said he really hates tennis and is only playing it cause he needs more money, lol
@@eyeofhorus1301 Like the Australian clown Bernard Tomić
@@eyeofhorus1301 However during the game he seemed to make it with pure joy. At least that's what it looks like in this game.
@@zencosuzuki8496 Maybe hes starting to like tennis now that he's playing this well
@@eyeofhorus1301also he said that he loves to hit the ball :))
To be honest that is some of the best tennis I have seen in a very long time. Refreshing to watch. Bublik has that thing you know - rare grace, that eventually shines through in moments like this. It’s the reason I watch any sport.
This was jaw-dropping and near tear-inducing to watch. This is the kind of performance I've always known Bublik could do, but have never actually seen. I hope this is just the start
Jar (jaw) dropping indeed 🙂
@@sohailhines good catch. Thanks 😂
Absolut worldclass by Bublik. Great tennis by Rublev. Today Bublik was the better player and wins a well-deserved ATP title. This match shows his amazing skill when he is focuses and fully committed.
rublev needs to finish more points at the net. he hits great balls from the baseline with fine margins deep in the court but almost never comes in to finish with a volley even though the return from his opponents is a very passive slice traveling high above the net.
I'm crying i'm so happy for Bublik!!!! What a legend! Mega congrats champ!!!!!! You deserve it so much!!!!!
Crying? Seriously?
The bar of becoming a legend ain't set that high for ya mate.
@@tomastoth3839lol legend 😂 maybe for Kazakhstan
@@tomastoth3839 What have you done in your life that's better?
@@blucat4 whine.
My new goal in life is to be as relaxed at work as Bublik is on the court. It's refreshing to see an ATP player not taking himself too seriously. He was on fire today, enjoying himself and thrilling the rest of us. Well done!
Change then your boss as Bublik changed his racquet!😂
@@antonydandan6255 I don't have a boss. I'm self-employed and my clients are great. :) You could say deadlines are my "bosses".
Lol...would like to agree on the "relaxing" thing, if I didn't think that being too relaxed was his biggest problem in the past. However, this week, I seen an intensity in him I didn't think existed. Go Bublik Go.
FINALLY, he stayed serious through an entire tournament, and his style and talent showed through. I hope this is his new persona and he soars. So happy for him.
Bublik looks like he got back in shape it was immediately a game changer at 00:26 , outrageous point.
1000% agree. Old Bublik would have thrown away that point already 10 times but now he dug out all the balls and even won the point. ITS SUCH A TREAT to see someone of Bublik's talent and caliber be serious and reach his potential.
Never seen bublik run like murray for a point. I was sure he was gonna win the first set after this, but he won the whole final!!!!
The shot of his family was amazing, most players have troubles with consistency and motivation cause they are top lonely or just with their parents/coaches, i think for guys like bublik having a family on their own it's a Game cjanger in regards of their potential, Focus and drive to work
Bublik was on FIRE! So happy for him. When he has his mental under control he can do big things. Rublev has grown on me too but Bublik was AWESOME today!
The best match of his so called life.
Bublik is one of the few tennis players that can still do something else other than pure baseline Ball bashing
I'm sure that's just a typo but it made me laugh!
So true. I like Rublev, but someone so utterly terrified of the net being in a Halle final is a sad indictment on the sport. Glad Bunlick won.
@squorly yeah sorry 😅 just amended
The BEST of "old school" tennis coming back by a superb player, the great Bublik!
Got goosebumps watching this. Probably the best start of a final for first 3 games in 2023! And bublik didn’t abandon his tactics and those crazy gap btw his drop shots and lobs and slices vs his killer flat shots were so hard for anyone to get into good rhythm
bublik has been a beast this tournament, very pleased to see it
I always knew bublik had so much potential. The power he processed behind his shots and the versatility too with slices and drop shots but he could never pull it together consistently. Both of these guys have great personalities. I enjoyed this final I was rooting for both guys.
Bublik....the talent....the fresh air in tennis....❤❤❤
Bublik is actually a guy that you just naturally route for. Extremely happy for him and hope for all the best in those weeks to come!
There are such players as Dustin Brown, Nick Kyrgios and Alexander Bublik blessed with an unbelievable amount of talent and imagination but only Federer translated that into greatness... Imagine what would happen if those three would put their mind into it, how tennis would become far more interesting and much less "mechanical"... Kudos to Bublik for proving he deserves to be there, now please try to turn that into a habit.
Dustin had heavy injuries.
@rafaundisputedgoat4291 cope
Wow what a moment for Bublik! Loved watching his wonderful game in this tournament, he very well deserved it. Was hoping he at least gives a good fight in the final and now he's won it! A player who's thoroughly entertaining when he's in full flow and when he's a little serious
It's rublev not zverev what kind of shit you're smoking😂
@@dedd.7909 Sorry I dont understand Ruasian
@arslaanpasha3334 you can still use the translation to English that UA-cam provides. If that is not enough then you can learn some Russian.
@@arslaanpasha3334I mean this is a free world, not to mention It was a match between two Russian players, then why should someone choose English as a language to express their feelings about the match?
He was just incredible the whole week. A dialled-in Bublik with his variety of power, touch and variety... it's almost unplayable for opponents on this surface. And threw in a few Dustin Brown like rocket returns for fun as well.
Dustin Brown sucked as an ATP player, not even winning 30% of his matches! Clown act!🤡
@@quentincrisp6933 but so fun to watch
@@writer684 Yes! I use to love watching the Harlem Globetrotters and the Washington Generals play each other. It was hilarious and a great time even though it was a meaningless game. Kinda like Dustin Brown.🤔
But he ll take it as he has upset nadal himself !

IM SO HAPPY FOR BUBLIK BEING SERIOUS AND GOING OUT THERE TO REACH HIS POTENTIAL!!! Got a new fan. HOPE TO SEE YOU KEEP FIGHTING BUBLIK!!! LETS GO!!!
Bublik is amazing on grass. I wish he'd take himself more seriously. He is such a different player from most.
It's a new Bublik, he's been serious for a bit now, it was only a matter of time before he came through.
WOW! His hands are ridiculous! The best back to back matches I've ever seen him play. Great guy always in good spirits even when mostly losing! I hope he goes far at SW19!
Bublik is EPIC! What a fun player and AMAZING talent.
Bublik is an awesome guy and this had already been an exceptional week for him before the final. But this match was special. The first three games were some of the best I've seen from any player this year. His style of tennis on the grass is great to watch.
Lots of love for Bublik! A brilliant play with the best hands in the game. Let's hope he stays focused ahead.
Congrats, Sasha Bublik! His tennis reminded me of how the game used to be played on grass courts in the 80´s and 90´s - Bublik was up there with McEnroe, Becker, Edberg all week. Hope he keeps it up. Because you don´t have to be a clown to play attractive, entertaining tennis.
So great to see Bublik refine his game, cut out the extraneous stuff and still keep all the talent on display. That was a pleasure to watch - truthfully a talent. I hope he does well at The Big W
Some shots was jaw dropping 😮
It’s not shown in the highlights but the last game was pure Bublik living on the edge. He started it with two double faults, then he made another one at 30:30. All of those were basically two first serves. But despite facing break point it never felt he wasn’t in control. And the best thing is the match point ace was actually a second serve as well :) So gutsy after three doubles that almost cost him the game.
I’m really happy for him, gotta love his entertaining game and personality. He started this year with losing in the first rounds every week but made up for it this week. Hope it will start him up for more success.
I am crying!!! He actually cares! Someone like Rublev is 100% dedication, but maybe 10% talent. Whereas Bublik is 100% talent, and 10% dedication. Talent is finite, so when Bublik actually puts more dedication, he is going to be so good !
This is all kinds of wrong 😅
@@lurpakspreadable4994 nope, op is right
Congratulations for winning Halle Alexander!! What a monster of a tournament, and you frustrated some of the worlds best players, while making it look pretty easy, lol. You make tennis fun, interesting, and exciting- love the focus and determination. Well done and very well deserved win (finally)!!🎉🎉🎉
I am dreaming! Beautiful disciplined tennis from Bublik. So wonderful to see. Please play like this from now on!
Glad to see him win another tournament. The current grass court season leading up to Wimbledon is his best chance. I hope he can carry this momentum through bigger tournaments because it will not only be good for him but for the tennis game too.
Absolutely love Bublik, such a wonderful and colourful character. Hope he wins more. We need more characters like him in the world.
To be very honest, Bublik is a very dangerous opponent in fast surfaces like grass. Firstly he has got an incredible athleticism . Secondly his snappy , stretched forehead is very much well suited for grass , packed with sudden dropshots from the baseline . And as these surfaces makes the ball bounce less and therefore allow Bublik to enhance the chances of his unpredictable shots, unlike clay where you always have a chance to defend .
I am really happy for Bublik, and really want him to get success in Wimbledon and other events. Every player has there own strategy for the mental part , and Bublik can be a bit "young" in that side . But each time he gets within himself, he goes way farther.
Best wishes for upcoming matches ! And congratulations for the first ATP 500 title . You deserve this buddy !! 🇰🇿🇰🇿🏆🎾🎾🌠
You forgot that he has one of the biggest serves on tour, which is significant on grass
Great final. Two quality players. Good luck to them both.
he was damn focus. that was damn mature. how he control he's inner dialogue was really professionnal. this serve and volley game plan that was hold from end to end.
Alexander Bublik, Congratulation, this is a fully deserve title ! Hope to see more victory like this one in the years to come !
What a win for Bublik! Such a nice guy. Really happy for him 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
best tennis moment of 2023. Been smiling from ear to ear watching him play on grass
Bublik is so entertaining to watch. A real throwback. What a return game! He was a giant killer this week!

This is what I am expecting from A. Bublik, happy for him winning the tournament 😊😊😊
Bublik is like a magician out on the grass, congrats !!
So happy for Bublik. So we’ll deserved. His antics are entertaining but it’s even better when he knuckles down and get serious and let’s his tennis and results do the talking. Such a talented player hope he can go far at Wimbledon.
Most talented attractive player in the circuit with golden hands
Congratulation to Alexander Bublik on his first biggest title in career. You have been playing stunning, beautiful, breathtaking, fabulous and incredible tennis today, you have showed that you are one of the best and most skillful players on tour, that you can play on highest level. I think that this is not your last title and you will win many more titles in the future. Your tennis art and masterhood is enjoyable, I like your creativity in every shot. Enjoy trophy with your family, friends and your team.🎾🏆
Bublik's anticipation at the net is great to see. I hope he can stay focused and keep playing like this. Bravo!
Congrats, Sasha!!! Bravo!!! Greetings from Kazakhstan!!!

wow what tennis from bublik, just pure class when he is on song and doesn't throw the matches away as he usually does. Prolly the best bet for the quarters in wimbeldon after novak and carlitos
Damn, this guy deserve a GS title,so happy for Bublik, don't spend it all in one place dude
I must not be the only tennis player & fan who's SUPER stoked at Bublik's victory!!!! Such a great personality.
Never seen people play tennis like this, this is completely amazing.
He is amazing when he is focused ... great win Sacha Bublik. He will cause stress for the top seeds at Wimbledon
Halle should be a masters 1000.
Totally agree. There are 28372773 Clay court masters 😂 we need more grass tourneys! 🎾
0:27 That 1st point on Andrey Rublev's serve showed that Alexander Bublik is committed today🤘🤘
1000% agree. Old Bublik would have thrown away that point already 10 times but now he dug out all the balls and even won the point. ITS SUCH A TREAT to see someone of Bublik's talent and caliber be serious and reach his potential.
@@recration He is a serious prospect on grass court given the kind of serve and imagination he has. Only thing is the will power.
Love to see Bublik in beast mode like this. He is so talented and so entertaining and he doesn’t need to go for the cutesy shots to be so. He just oozes entertainment and it’s so wonderful to see him put it all together with this kind of lockdown play.
So awesome. Love them both but so happy for Bublik!
Bublik would have ranked much higher if there were grass court ATP 1000s. The guy is unstoppable.
+taoxuanminh huh what?! No grass 1000s exist? That should literally be illegal, wtf is that BS? You can't not have ATP 1000s on any of your 3 primary surfaces

Power. Playfully . Alexander was playing with a spark .
We are waiting for interesting matches in London .
I recall Halle's trophy was way bigger when Roger won it. Did they change the trophy? Also, Bublik played real grass tennis, very awesome!❤
I must admit. Bublik went to god mode in this tournament. This shows how he can turn tables when he wants to play the game with serious intentions.
it just made my day!! what a game Sasha! Was smiling all game through!!
Congratulations Bublik. Can really sense he's in a correct zone. Nice balance between seriousness, playfulness and creativity.
When bublik goes God mode, nobody, i mean nobody can stop him

Brilliant. No idea why he switched on but it seems that Bublik just needs to decide to win matches to win a tournament.
Love watching you play, I'm really happy you Bublik!! Keep it up!!!
His second serve for the title was 221 km/h!!!! My goodness! I'm not sure i've seen something like this ever!
Bublik truly deserved this title. He's the only player who presented something different than the baseline style made popular by Novak among the young gen. It's been too long.
@rafaundisputedgoat4291 really, is he's legs getting better? Haven't heard news about him in a long time
sometimes we manage to win title, sometimes not. You have begun grass season fantastic, I think that you can be proud of yourself Andrey. One of the best talent and i'm happy for him. He play tennis to enjoy , look like doesn't take the game really focus but that's the way he like and make show. Congratulation Bublik.

He is so joyous to watch. An entertainer and a pure and brilliant tennis player. Brings a smile to my face.😀
Omg 😳 what a match that was
something great clicked in Bublik mind. Tennis needs his talent badly.💪
Man, that kid is crazy, but when focused, he shows an incredible tennis 💪. Congratulations to him and rublev, who had a good run.
Congrats to Bublik, one of the most likeable guy on tour and so unorthodox! Been rooting for you for a long time! 🎉🎉🎉
I saw the good form shining through last week, he is always a threat on grass but I definitely didn't expect him to be lifting a 500 trophy, he was so focused out there which is great to see, effort pays dividends, bravo!
What a performance in this Final and in whole week Bublik had! It has been extraordinary journey and also the feeling with his new racquet seems now great! I hope in Wimbly he can go deep therefore each game is set on five sets instead of three like here in Halle. The second serve was amazing, powerful and consistent just like the first one which can be his added weapon in Wimbledon, at least I hope so.
