It cracks me up that Jacob gives the "recap" as if it was the kind of "story so far" that you would know if you'd just been watching Julia's current playthrough from the start to this point, when really it's at a level of lore that requires massively cross-referenced inspection of every scrap of information in the entire game and definitely not something anyone would know just from an ordinary playthrough to the point Julia's at...
My daughter is a little younger than Clara and a little older than Frankie so it's always so fun to hear their stories and think what my own might get up to soon or remember what she was getting up to at that age 😅
The story about their nephew reminded me of when I was a baby. We had a lab/dane mix (big) who was a couple years older than me so he was reasonably mature by the time I started testing out my limited motor skills on him. I would grab his face by the jowls with all my baby strength and, rather than risk hurting me by trying to free himself, he would just cry til my mom rescued him. He also would stop and wait for me to cross if I toddled by him; he was the gentlest big brother a baby could hope for ❤
The last egg hunt I encountered involved plastic eggs filled with small candies like M&Ms. My husband and I were simply walking by with our dog, and only became aware that an egg hunt was about to happen (or was happening?) because several of the eggs had been discovered by local squirrels and summarily dismantled to reveal their sweet innards. We kept the dog well clear, and as we were exiting the other side of the park, we could hear rising cries of disappointment. This took place in Toronto, in the U of T/Queen's Park area. For those who are familiar, the squirrels there are many and mighty.
I helped run a scavenger hunt last year at my job (a nature preserve) where we put the prizes in Easter eggs. Each kid was only allowed to collect a certain number of eggs, so that the really little ones would have a fair chance. Unfortunately, some of the kids figured out that they could empty the prizes out of the eggs, then put them back down where they'd been hidden. It took us hours to clean all the empty eggs up.

after Julia kills Rom and the moon goes red and we hear an infant cry it just made me so sad ಥ_ಥ partly because the transition in the story and atmosphere is a lot darker, but also this is another large stepping stone to Julia finishing the game
The way Julia just straight up refused to engage with the triple hunter chapel and the area before (didn't even turn the camera to look at the bell lady once) was weirdly cathartic in a way. Horribly inefficient and dangerous but definitely cathartic. It usually takes ages to clear that trio one by one.

Hearing so many interesting noises watching Blooodborne with headphones on. I had no idea The One Reborn made like... komodo dragon noises when it appears. Paarl is also very creaky/rattley, which is cool. Also one again recommending checking out the Chalice Dungeons.

About the beginning, where Jacob says "Shesus" that reminded me of the character "Jesusa" - the latin name Jesus + a - from the comic "A Louca do Sagrado Coração" (Madwoman of the Sacred Heart, in english), by Jodorowsky and Moebius, two great comic creators. The book is beautiful, strange and has some of my favorite drawings. Ps. Im brasilian and I don´t know how well the book spread in the US or Europe. Still, a fantastic read.

I left no part of my cheap $40 Memphis unmodded that i turned into my first fretless bass, so i just carved off like all of the headstock and have no memory of what not-quite-Fender shape it had before. Great cheap modding platform, those basses. Edit: Yes, yes it was. Great. Awesome lil short-scale. Memphises are cool. If it doesn't sound or play amazing, Julia can 1,000% fix that with a couple allen keys and a soldering iron.
I just started streaming Dark Souls and because I always farm a lot whenever I play any game, I farmed up about 20 levels before the gargoyles and then beat them my first try of the next stream. I get it, Jacob, farming was fun and relaxing so I didn't even notice how much I'd done until it was too late. Haha

About the beginning, where Jacob says "Shesus" that reminded me of the character "Jesusa" - the latin name Jesus + a - from the comic "A Louca do Sagrado Coração" (Madwoman of the Sacred Heart, in english), by Jodorowsky and Moebius, two great comic creators. The book is beautiful, strange and has some of my favorite drawings.

I went to see Joe Hishishi in concert and he also doesn’t speak fluent English and so instead of talking alot at the end of the concert he would point to each section of the orchestra, and the other performers, leave the stage for us to appreciate the musicans and than come back. D'awww is that a cute lil Memphis bass?! That's my best guess from what i can see of the headstock, though i don't remember what shapes they've used. I left no part of my cheap $40 Memphis unmodded that i turned into my first fretless bass, so i just carved off like all of the headstock and have no memory of what not-quite-Fender shape it had before. Great cheap modding platform, those basses.
Edit: Yes, yes it was. Great. Awesome lil short-scale. Memphises are cool. If it doesn't sound or play amazing, Julia can 1,000% fix that with a couple allen keys and a soldering iron.

I just started streaming Dark Souls and because I always farm a lot whenever I play any game, I farmed up about 20 levels before the gargoyles and then beat them my first try of the next stream. I get it, Jacob, farming was fun and relaxing so I didn't even notice how much I'd done until it was too late. Haha
