I would know your voice anywhere, dear Sir. So soothing, like your beautiful bonsai. I dreamed of moving to the UK, but my daughter is too ill to leave, so I have to say goodbye to that dream.Visiting Heron's Nursery was on my bucket list. I thank you for your videos. I can at least pretend I am walking around in the twilight with you, learning from you with every step. Blessings. From Kaye, Australia.
The UK is struggling now in several areas. As a wise man once said to me the grass is always greener on the other side. You live in a beautiful country. I hope you find peace in what you have. I dream of leaving the UK, where to I'm not sure. But life here hasn't been what I'd hoped. Alas, I'm stuck here too. I hope you visit the royal botanic gardens in Melbourne one day. They are truly beautiful
How I love all those beautiful colors, the sounds, the variety, diversity of all the plants..You are a rich man, dear Mr. Chan - not because you got all this, achieved all this but you can (still!) really appreciate and enjoy it all! 👍
Thank you Peter for this beautiful video. The landscape and the trees large and small are wonderful to see plus the sounds of birds and frogs. A visit to Herons is on my bucket list. Thank you so much for so many educational videos.
It was fantastic seeing you on Gardeners' World, you came across very well indeed, but I wouldn't have expected anything else. Thank you for your videos, all your insights and advice and experience.
I love the trees at this time of the day with the sun on the beautiful foliage of the trees, especially the Maples, the black fly and green fly are far less this year whereas the ant population has increased ten fold, all my Maples this year are clear of any type of flys, the birds are communicating with each other. This time in the evening is magical you get all the shadows from the trees and the sounds of the various animals, the frogs are in full voice almost feels that they are talking to other before bedding down for the night, I wonder if there are toads as well in and around the lake area. My son and his now wife were married on 21 June which was a beautiful sunny significant day, we had a host of now my daughters family here for the wedding from HongKong, the last couple left for home today, lovely people. The sadness to me was My late wife wasn’t physically at the wedding but I am sure she was looking down with pride that her youngest son of 56 had finally got married, it would be her 79th birthday today she is so missed as I know your wife is missed by you and your family. Thank you Peter for tour of the garden in the evening.
6:37 God bless you very, very much for this kindness, because many people have more urgent needs at certain times... 15:07 birds are essential for the development of my fruit trees or vegetable gardens... yes they eat some, but the "damage" is so minimal... 723:16 edit: 23:16 I hope the BBC allows you, Mr Chan, to show this video on your UA-cam channel so your followers have the opportunity to watch it
I love your nursery so much! I have been to the golden bonsai exhibit in San Francisco years ago and it was so impressive but nothing has come close to the garden you have and I have appreciated all the content you put out. It has helped us all so much! 🎉
Chào bạn, tôi làm người đam mê cây cảnh tôi mơ ước có được khu vườn giống vậy, nhìn thấy quá tuyệt vời, cảm ơn bạn chia sẽ chúc bạn thật nhiều may mắn. ❤❤❤
13:58 I have looked it up because I am interested in maples but according to Wikipedia it is not American. “Acer campbellii, commonly known as Campbell's maple[1] or Himalayan maple,[3] is a species of maple tree indigenous to mixed forests at altitudes of 1,800-3,700 metres (6,000-12,000 ft) in Bhutan, northern India, Myanmar, Nepal, and Vietnam, as well as southern Sichuan, southern Xizang, and northwest Yunnan in China.[1] It may grow up to 15 m (49 ft) in height.” Unless ofc I have misheard the name. Edit: btw, thank you for the lovely stroll, Peter. It’s always a pleasure to visit your nursery, albeit on video.😊
Sadly, I've reached an age where any day might be my last, so I've had to sell my bonsai collection, some I've grown over 45 years, to make sure of their continuation...
I love these seasonal walks! Each season is so beautiful, I really enjoyed the winter walk as well. I’d love a pond like that - is yours natural or man made? Fish? I can’t tell the size of your pond from the video…
Thank you sir, for a magical tour. The transition from day to night through dusk. Croaking frogs replacing calling birds, rising moonlight replacing setting sunlight, all upon your lovingly created nursery garden. What a gift!
Dear Peter, your strolls are always a great pleasure to me. They are so relaxing and peaceful and quiet. I dream of visiting Heron's one day, but as I cannot take anything home to Germany, I also fear the presence of your beautiful, beautiful trees 😉 Is there any chance that you will ever be able to export to Germany?

Incredible evening watching🙏

30ft? You need a good tree surgeon to prune it properly. Willow take well to heavy pruning

Hello, just wondering if it is possible to air layer a laburnum tree and if so when would be best time to do it. Love your videos also. Cheers
I have never tried Laburnum but give it a go and let me know how you get on.
Absolutely stunning.
