Gag orders are fundamentally unconstitutional. It violates the 1st amendment. It also violates the right to confront one’s accusers. Also grand juries are unconstitutional, because the accused is deprived of the right to confront his accusers. If you say the accused gets that chance after indictment, then you are ignoring that indictment is often tantamount to financial and reputation ruin, even if he eventually wins his case. Thus a grand jury deprives one of a basic right.

Does anyone really know what would happen if Trump went to jail. 1st, they would have to make sure the area he is in is totally secure. They would have to up the Secret Service protecting him. The floor or area he would be housed in would only be for Trump and all other inmates would have to be moved. The Secret Service would be in charge of that area that Trump is in and not the State or Local Authorities.
