The student did a great job. He applied right physics. He shaked the bottle and tried his best. Due to shaking the particles of water molecules rotated and he gave some initial velocity to water particles to flow in high velocity. But Teacher applied physics which is not bad but teacher took more time to prepare the physics based models / assets to insert inside the bottle. It's more time than 6.97 seconds.
The pipe is passing the air from outside the bottle to inside the bottle which decreases the air resistance which occurs when the bottle without pipe is flipped
In 1st scenario the water was coming out and air is going in through the same hole. That's why it's little slow. In 2nd scenario the air is passing through the pipe, therefore, water is freely flowing from the hole. This technique was used by my father when emptying coconut water 😂 when i was child he used to put two holes in the coconut so that the water comes out quickly and easily.
