Hi, I tried the app today, here in Italy, in the mountains on the roof of a Chalet, and it gave me 1.78% of obstacles, I think it's good. Otherwise I have to cut down trees eh eh eh eh but I don't want to. Thanks a lot for your sharing, it helped me!

That percentage shouldn’t give you to much trouble. I don’t blame you there! You are very welcome, thanks for watching :)

you know there really should be a video with clear instructions on how to use the obstruction app. For example, at what angle do you hold your phone? If you point straight up, that can't be right. Then again, you can't point it direction at ground level? So how do you point your phone?

You do literally that point it up and do a circular radius are the area the dish would be pointed..Why would you do it at ground level it’s a satellite 📡

11.27 pm I'm in Florida guys and exactly what you said sort of happened to me I put it up it was pretty clear I was getting about eighty-five 90% clear I had speeds like 100 + and then it started fluctuating and I was sitting there thinking about it and what came to me when I put the satellite on my roof the trees were awful scrawny it was winter time here in Florida yes we don't have a winner but the trees think so they shed their leaves and now they're big and green it has to be them interfering in my view the do power lines interfere if they're about fifteen feet away appreciate if you could let me know

I think the only thing I could do is come back about 20 ft and hope that helps but I'm going to put it on a 20-foot Paul to be about 4 ft higher than my my roof what do you think

Thank you for the video. How long did the interruptions last and how frequently did they happen?

Hello Athanasios, the interruptions were short but consistent. Outages were only blip on the map…1 second, but always there making things like Zoom calls or gaming very difficult. The consistency comes into play with every time the satellites pass over the blocked area in the obstruction viewer, the larger the blocked area the more downtime you will have. Hope this helps!

You guys are lucky. I'm at 100+ degrees open sky and got error messages that my Starlink is "Unsearchable." I can't even get online during my initial setup. Have tried factory resets, stowing, moving the Gen 2 Dish with zero results. Probably have defective equipment. My tress are much further away than the poster. Connection failure couldn't be because of one obstruction to the north. I should at least be able to get a signal. Starlink is a chunk of shit product. Will be selling it and going back to DSL where I got a blazing 3mpbs download and wheel of death all day long.

Hope you figure it out because Starlink is damn right amazing..Idk what you did but it sounds like it’s either defective or user error…Currently in the UK for a few years and I have mine sitting right in the ground in the back yard with zero obstructions.
