Innovative, authentic and the real deal! Tony, I give you a big hand for expanding your fishing experience! You guys got some nice fish! Another awesome video!
Good job! As a fishing enthusiast who has never had a fishing rod and reel and always used this "primitive method" his entire life I have a few points to share: 1. If you are on a pier or on the coast for surf fishing, you should use the lasso method like a real cowboy! 2. Try to wrap the line around a stick or something to not let the fish steal your bottle all together 3. Use empty spray paint bottles, they usually have a ball inside that can alert you if something happens to your hook. 4. Hold the fishing line with your finger and you can sense smallest vibrations around your hook. 5. Wear a glove or wrap clothes around your fingers to protect them from being cut by the fishing line 6. In the end it is your bait and hooks that catch a fish for you not your fishing rod and reels!
@@FishGum fishing this morning just North of Flagler Beach in Beverly Beach. Slow morning with some annoying seaweed. Caught 3 decent whiting. Cool watching the bait pods of mullet come by with the tarpon crashing through. Great time of year to just to be out fishing first thing in the morning. Love when you quote scripture as part of your experiences. Unfortunately, not many places in northeast Florida carry fish gum, mostly fishbites. Love to combo fresh bait with a scented option. If I see your product I plan on buying some to check it out. Keep introducing new avenues to fishing, love it!
thats pretty cool ive seen islanders use them on youtube a while back and i thought that was fascinating how they could bring in huge fish without getting cut by their line! loved the video!
Awesome! Saw that same video you were talking about. Primitive fishing. Just goes to show you that you don't need the latest and greatest fishing equipment to get some good fish, but it does make it easier for sure! Awesome video my man! Keep up the great work! Fish Gum is one of the go to bait that I use here to surf fish in the Pensacola/Navarre area
I was teaching at an indigenous pastors conference in Nicaragua and we decided to do a fishing “charter”. They took us out in 12’ aluminum boats with hand lines. Crab shells were the bobbers. Craziest thing I’d ever seen but it was a blast!
@@FishGum it was an amazing time for sure! We actually moved to Santa Rosa Beach from Washington state because we felt a strong call from the LORD. We’re excited to see his kingdom advance here as well! Thanks for all you do! I’ve learned a ton from you and now have a new passion of surf fishing!
I wish i could of found this channel sooner you are one awesome guy brother i love the videos love the excitement love it all subscriber for life now thanks for being awesome
Love this idea! That’s amazing! Can we get a tutorial or something on how to set it up? It looks like you just put line on the skinny part of a bottle but I just want to make sure.
I love the video! The mantra of environmentalism is reduce, reuse, recycle (in that order!). This would count as an excellent reuse of a plastic bottle! Keep those plastics out of the ocean!
Great video, u never seem to amaze me how u can make surf fishing so simple and affordable for anyone that wants to give it a try, and bring home dinner,, what area were u fishing 🎣 that was some clean water,,, Stay Safe God Bless,,,,
The trick to using handline fishing is to use heavy monofilament line of about 80-100 lbs as the main line and suitable line for the hook snoods, paternoster rig with one hook or two are the best ways to do it,, one more trick, you don't have to wind up the line to what ever you're using that's your line is spooled on, just one hand over another until the fish is out 🙏
Loved it Tony!!! I too have watched those little boys bottle fishing and it just amazes me how young they are but carry dinner home on something so simple!!! Thanks for trying this because I have wanted to do the same thing for a long time. Just didn't think I could throw the line out far enough!!! LOL
I wish I could get FISHGUM in Texas as easily as in Florida. I might even be interested in repping the brand. I have used FISHGUM several times in Pensacola, and it does work.

I was standing next to a guy that was catching fish on a pier in Isamorada
that had a hand line wrapped around his beer koozie.🤣
Can you give an explanation of what your using for line and rubber band size and also the dowel rods. Thanks
Awesome!!

Yes! Thank you for this! I don’t know what I am doing but now I know. I’ll be trying your recommendations.
@@FishGum you did ok, thanks for sharing with us the modern improvements with targeting beach fishing, fisherman from East Africa 🌍
Do you use a weight?
@@jonblaze32 Yes, normally a 4 oz bank sinker,

Seen it all now. That is cool. When I think of all the money I've wasted on name brand tackle......
What beach are you on?
First fishing rod was a bamboo rod then I started using casters..could finally afford a couple decent rods Now, thank God.
Why don't you wrap up the stone with line and throw it farther but wrap it up so the line unwraps in air
Hey guy , where can I get some FISHGUM?
Would work better with more space
How is it in the US? Do you need a permission to go catch fish or something like that?
Someone on oculus told me to sub
Really? Who
Yes
😅😅🎉
Who's here from fb shorts?
