When I was a kid all the barn roofs along I-40 said ‘See Rock City’. I would beg my parents to take me. When I got old enough I finally went!
Some of the best childhood memories.
😊
😊
🙂
I remember seeing the barn roof advertisements for Rock City. I've never had the pleasure of actually going there, though. Thank you for sharing your adventure with those of us who are physically unable to go to such places ourselves. It is definitely BEAUTIFUL and very much appreciated.
❤
🤗
🙂
The views are just amazing. You had a wonderful day for this latest adventure. Thank you so much for taking us all on this lovely walk/hike. I now have another place to visit on my travel wish list.
❤
❤
🙂
Aw, yes. The painted barns. It’s a lovely place.
❤
🙂
🙂
I'm in Europe so far away from there. I wouldn't see that nice place in my life. But you took me with you for free. Thank you so much!
🤗
All the nursery rhymes I hadn’t thought about in decades and pretty much forgot about. I remember 😊
😊
☺
🤭☺
What wonderful memories I have of going to Rock City as a girl with my parents and grandma. And years later taking my kids. My daughters reactions reminded me of my own at her age. Now, I’ll watch the video!
❤❤
☺
🙂
Not what I was expecting.
Stunning views.
💥
Thank you for this great tour! It's a great that you are in a healthy condition to do this!
❤😊
☺
I remember the barn roofs...I will put that on my bucket list when I get back in the area. Thanks for sharing; loved the trail walk the best.

You are taking a walk!

🤭🙂
Thanks for letting us tag along. Very cool. I've seen the "See Rock City" barns for decades, but wasn't really sure where it actually was.
❤
🙂
☺
What an amazing place! They have truly left a legacy for all to enjoy.
😊
☺
Wow!!! Thank you for this interesting tour!!! Have never been…totally enjoyed, both the amazing views and your informative commentary along the way! This was time well spent today. Again, many thanks for sharing with us, Tim.😊
❤😊
☺
I don't remember the last time I was there during daylight hours. I used to go for the Christmas lights every 3rd year or so. These days there are too many stairs and not enough handrails for some of the people in my group so I'd say I may have been there for the last time. Once in my early 20s, I snuck in well after hours and managed to get back out and down the mountain unarrested. Thanks for the tour, Tim!
❤
😆 that was a fun story!
😁 oh well....😅
So happy for you! I like your steady hand videoing. I am a little nervous about some of those tight spots…I can fit just seem a little claustrophobic in some spots. Otherwise very beautiful and peaceful and a nice choice of music too! Thank you for another adventure! One day…maybe I will get to travel. Those views!!! Spectacular! ❤

😊

so pretty. Thanks for taking us along.

Like Many have Commented, You'd Make an Excellent Tour Guide. Without You, Most
of Us would Never Get to S👀 the Fantastic Thing's or Place's that You have Shown us. Rock City is a Cool Place as well as the " 🧚♀️ " "Fairyland Cavern's"at the End of the Video. The Type of Music 🎶 is Great throughout, with the Different "Change's" of Thing's you were "Showing" us. Hope you Enj😋ed the BBQ.

🤗
Fascinating! I thought the bonus at the end was going to be a coffee shop (in true Tim style). 😊
LOL

😊
🙂
Loved this video! Great tour, Thank you!!! My family is going to visit Rock City for sure!!
Have fun!
😊

We love your videos of the different destinations. I have been to the Grand Canyon (south rim) 3 times, once by car and twice by train. Each time it is busier then the last. I live in NE AZ, my next trip will be the north rim of GC. The Skywalk looks interesting but scary. TFS👍
😊

☺
Thanks for sharing! It's been many years since we've been to "See Rock City" and last time it was cloudy/foggy so we didn't get the 7-state view. But still a beautiful place! Ruby Falls is an interesting place to visit as well!
❤😊
🙂
☺
Thanks so much for this video. I have seen the signs on roofs see Rock City. Probably more than one. Now i know what to expect. Its just beautiful. I gotta try to go there. But if i don't i can always go back to your video and get a glimpse of the beauty. Thanks great video.
😊

🙂
I loved all of it but the fairy tale cavern was like nothing i had ever seen before! wow. I do know most of them and you filmed it very well giving the viewer time to actually look at it😊
😊
☺
☺
I think the barn roof painting to advertise was brilliant! It is nice there are roofs still intact. Joan
😊
😊

❤
😊
Thanks for sharing your film of Rock City! It's beautiful and I love your history story along with the film❤
❤
☺
From the 1970's through 1990's you would see the Rock City sign for hundreds of miles around there. My first time there was 1969 and was there as recent as 2021. Nice memories. 👍
😊
😊
☺
Fun gardens!
😊
👍💚
Amazing! great video! Hopefully I will have to time to explore this next week when I am in the area.
😊
🙂
🤞💚
I visited Rock City, I think, 50 years ago during a family vacation. I was terrified at the swing bridge, and I remember the nursery rhymes. And there seemed to be hundreds of gnomes back in that time? What a trail down the past. Thanks for the remberies.
❤
🤗
🙂
Loved it Tim !! Amazing place!👍
😊

Thanks for braving the heat to film this video. I'm guessing the was some relief in the caves tho.

Amazing views !
What an achievement to get that built in the 30s. Both were Visionary’s.
The advertising on the barns genius!

nice tour!

I finally made it to Rock City and brought a bird house home to prove it. LOL. You did an amazing job on the video especially with the lighting in the Fairyland Cavern and the metalwork in front of the vignettes. You captured the beauty and uniqueness of Rock City.
I have a bird house from Rock City as well!😄
❤
🙂
🙂
this was the closest thing we did that resembled going on vacation.
Thanks foe the memories
❤
😊
🤗
Great video. Some of it was a little scary. Small paths. I remember going to salt mines a mile underground and all i could think was I hope the elevator doesn't die.
😊
😊
🙂
That was great.
👍🏻
😊
👍
This was so great to see. I knew all the fairy tales so that makes me old. Ha!
❤
😊
🙂
All i could think about is being claustrophobic and afraid of heights. You tour is much safer on the nerves ❤
😂❤
🤗
☺
One of the few memories I have before 13, is Mom doen on her hands and knees crawling across the stone bridge. She was petrified of hieghts. I am not great with them either, and it has just gotten worse as time goes on.
😮😢
so sorry...
very challanging....sorry you have to go through this
Great video! I can check rock city off my list of places to visit now that you visited it for me. Lol yes I don’t like those swinging bridges either. Noticed you have a thing for fairies too. Lol jk. Great vid 😊
😊

Fun video, Tim! It was relaxing & the music just added to it. Thanks!

I love all the channels that I’ve subscribe to. But I have to tell you when your videos pop up. I get a little bit more excited than the others. Don’t tell them my secret. I don’t want them to be jealous lol
Awwww! Thank you!!!
Great Video! Now I have to get there😊

I know all the Tales, Mom read us lots of books. That was so fun- thank you!
Am I allowed to ask questions about some things I saw outside?
I like your shirt- matches your shades. Great vid!

@@kzZnAT0r Guess that meant: "No." 😉
@@kzZnAT0r Did you notice my message to you a few days ago about the little bug?

@@amritabhattacharyya4882 It's hard to tell. Should I raise my hand?
I loved this video. Thank you for sharing. Would you mind sharing your video setup info? (Equipment & attachments... I was thinking my husband would enjoy doing video on travel and you make it look easy)
This video was made entirely with the DJI Pocket 3 Creator Combo.
