    I'll second that about getting lighter monologht flashes! Using a Flashpoint 600 is something I'm pulling out only when I need to as I get older. Lighter with some punch is the way to go!

    Good stuff. Can you use the splitter and the legacy mode on the Godox trigger?

  • @easy1easy1

    Thanks for the content. Can you just stack the XProii right on top of the YN shutter release?

    • @NathanCoolPhoto
      @NathanCoolPhoto  6 місяців тому

      YN triggers don't work well as a pass-through and could increase the chance for a misfire. It's best to keep shutter and flash triggers separate, not stacked.

    Hi Nathan, what don’t you like about video using the Nikon Z 5 and or 6II

      Cropped video, can't do 4K 60p uncropped....Lumix can. These are some of the critical things covered in my upcoming course on videography...stay tuned...

    Thank you very much Natan! One question please: Is the Laowa 12mm good enough for interior photograpy?

    • @NathanCoolPhoto
      @NathanCoolPhoto  Місяць тому

      No. These are things I cover in my course on interior photography, here's a link if you'd like to check that out: learnre.nathancool.com

    Thanks Nathan! In your book about video, you said that Blackmagic is a good option to consider. Do you still recommend them for video, and if so, in your opinion what is better: the BMPCC 4K with speedbooster or the BMPCC 6K?

    Do you have any recommendations on a good monitor for editing? I'm new to REP (6 months) and looking to upgrade my monitor. Looking for a good balance of quality and price. thanks!

    Are you worried about poor low light performance with a micro four thirds camera? I use full frame and still have some issues with darker rooms. I can't imagine halving the size of the sensor.

    • @NathanCoolPhoto
      @NathanCoolPhoto  6 місяців тому +1

      Nope. MFT has twice the DOF: f/8 on a FF camera is the same DOF as f/4 on MFT, so you can basically cut the ISO in half by using a "wider" aperture on MFTs to completely avoid high ISOs. Besides, I've shot with ISOs well over 2000 on the GH5ii with no problem, so not worried at all.

    I have not been able to find a hot shoe splitter that will work with my Sony a6500 any help would be appreciated, thank you in advance.

    • @NathanCoolPhoto
      @NathanCoolPhoto  6 місяців тому +1

      For Sony, get a camera cage like this one that has a cold-shoe mount amzn.to/3tNhdol and put your shutter release trigger in that cold shoe. Then place your flash trigger in the hot-shoe, I recommend this one for Sony amzn.to/3NWAlai and enable "Legacy Hotshoe Mode"
