Here is the process to be followed in Texas middle school and high school football games, as prescribed by rule: If a player tries to enter the game with knee pads in pants that do not cover the knees and/or with no knee pads covering the knees, he must not be allowed on the field.

Sure, Duncanville has whipped SLC the like 4 times they played each other but they didn’t play each other last year and they aren’t going to play each other this year either.
Duncanville is the Division 1 6A TXHS football state playoffs bracket and SLC is in the Division 2 6A TXHS football state playoffs bracket.
SLC is in the same bracket as De Soto and Cedar Hill. They play Bryon Nelson and the winner will play the winner of De Soto and Cedar Hill.
Dville plays Houston Westfield and the winner plays the winner of Allen and North Crowley.

@@trioproductions5403 SLC’s school population is in the 2000s, that’s the standard size of a typical 6a school in Texas. Many schools are in the 3000s several are in the 4000-5000 range. The biggest school (Allen) has over 6000. Divisional placement for the playoff depends on which two schools are the biggest. In SLCs UIL district, Keller high school (population 3100) and Keller Timber Creek (also 3100) were the 2 biggest schools to qualify for the playoffs in their district. Which pushed Byron Nelson (2700) and SLC down to D2.
I don’t think it matters anyway. DeSoto is in D2 and they may be the best team in the state.

He's right to a point. The best football is played down here. Meaning the best coaching and some of the most elite athletes etc... And the big reason for that is it just means more to us down here. That's why it's the best. Sure the rest of the nation likes to assemble these little mini colleges with some of the best athletes but we see that as a weak cop out. We want to know what your local community has to offer on the field. Its personal for us down here. We dont want or need anyone from outside our communities. Sure we welcome anyone willing to man up but we dont go searching for players. And 9 out of 10 times you guys are levels below. And that's OK. It just means more to us down here.
