This is like Avengers assemble for us younger Architects🤩.Have been following your videos and you are amazing in your work.So much to learn from you guys.😇
It you work in a large firm and everyone must be connected via network then revit and autocad shine. But that's not to say it cannot be used elsewhere.
I hate to find each single model for a part online using websearch to search among companies. Can't they develop a system that acknowledges your current position and locates local manufactures and offers these models in revit as example usage. Like Imagine having a built in market in revit, and to join it as a company you just need your own recognition and revit models and upload it to this market of models, and then you can use a website company link to get the prices/contact information. I also wish it had test models so you can learn building in revit without a school.
Back in my archi school project, I only found SOMA (local product) indoor sketchup pack, and now they have brand label in 3D warehouse. But for designing detail and plan for building, I am agree whether AutoCAD or ArchiCAD don't have it, or just me? correct me :)
@@intanmustikasari8367 I meant it mainly for the expenses and availability like local things are faster to deliver and take samples from, and they might be cheaper to get in price of transportation. but yeah It also should help local start ups and inventions. Big companies will appear sooner on worldwide webs like google, than smaller brands with a less known name. Like as a newbie idk whats available on the market, so I can make ideas and suggestions in my mind, but I have no guarantee I can get it, which was my biggest problem, as well as not being able to recognise whats going on in the builders market. You probably have to search for everything yourself and meet things by change, which to me is kinda time consuming and in some sense boring/ineffective. People in the work itself will know everything by experience, but if I have to design something as a freshmen, I want to use everything available and not spend years learning on what might be possible.
@@NothingBootz that's true, like we have to make Ikea product to spread all over the world because we have no choice but to choose them. I think it's possible to developing kind of digital catalogue in it, yet we keep learning for their benefits and maintenance in school. :D Please correct me if I'm wrong.. XD
@@NothingBootz FYI we like playing design game like 'the Sims, but it never told us a lot of importance aspect such as ergonomics and responsive environment.
Hey oliver, quick one... I work with archicad 18 on an (i5) dell latitude e643 ,thinking of getting an updated version. Any suggestions, considering the laptops strength. And what rendering software would go best... thanks for the video by the way, really helpful
Hi bro! I want to enrol myself in your Isometric Diagrams Masterclass but am unsure if I have to have V-Ray? Is this essential for the course? Thanks a lot in advance for your reply! :-)
