A fitting raag for the sad occasion. You and your surbahar will be missed Ustadji. RIP.
Difficult to get this raag out of one's mind once it is afflicted with it.
I have fond memories of the ever smiling Imrat in Calcutta during the 60s and 70sEnd of an era
The transition from the jod to the jhala was uncommonly smooth and seamless. His style is far too sublime compared to other veenkars. He weaves an universe out of a single stroke by sheer left hand finger jugglery.
A giant. He never got his due. Koti koti Pranam.
