    I just wanted to point out that there are several instances in your video, where you use the words country and Africa in the same sentence, and where you speak of Turkey (not Asia) in comparison to Africa (rather than the DRC). I know that you specify at the beginning of your video that you went to the DRC. It would've have been good, though, if you could have remained consistent in speaking of the DRC, and Kinshasa, rather than "Africa". It's tiring. It is so tiring hearing people speak about the continent as a whole, as if it is a country. As a Congolese person, I also disagree that Kinshasa is not touristic. There are numerous touristic sites that you can explore in and around the city; however, it is true that the city's economy is not built around tourism. Many touristic sites are privately owned and operated.

    Hi,
    I am running a UA-cam channel that aims essentially to tell the positive story of Congo and I would like to translate some of your videos about Congo in french and then share on my channel.
    Would you allow me to do so ?

    • @warmhearttravels1
      @warmhearttravels1  Рік тому +1

      Hello 👋👋
      Not all my videos are super positive, as you've seen I guess. I tried to be realistic and objective.
      But if you want to translate some videos and share them, you can do so, just mention my channel in the description as an original source.

    • @jeunemaisambassadeur5591
      @jeunemaisambassadeur5591 Рік тому

      I noticed that not all of them are positive 😁
      But still, I love these realistic points of view. At least they are not misinformation.

    I am from Burundi (East Africa) and I would like to thank you for sharing your experience.
    French language is really difficult, you learned it pretty fast.
    I attended Patrice Lumumba University (now People's Friendship University of Russia) in Moscow from 1971 to 1977. I remember how the first months were hard. In the stores, fortunately all the prices were displayed, so I would just hand the money over and wait for my change.

      Wow, how interesting! I'm from Brazil and I really liked your story.
      Could you tell us more about how you went to study in Russia, even though you are from Burundi?

    • @stansiyomana1239
      @stansiyomana1239 11 місяців тому

      @@Mateus-ir3vv Thank you for your interest. Patrice Lumumba University was created in 1960 to help train young people from newly independent countries. Patrice Lumumba is the hero of the independence of the Democratic Republic of Congo or Congo-Kinshasa (he was assassinated). Actually in our geology group we were like 8 foreigners (including Carlos from Brazil and others from Colombia and other Latin American countries and India and Sri Lanka) and 6 other students were Russians.
      The first university in Burundi was open around 1964: students would do two years there and then go to Belgium or France for another two years. There were just a few departments. So the Soviet Union was helping by taking students fresh out of secondary school. I was about 3 months from graduation that the school principal (a Belgian Salesian priest) told me and another classmate to start gathering documents for a scholarship in Soviet Union.
      At the recent Russia-Africa Summit in Saint Petersburg in July 2023, it was announced that about 3,500 Burundians have been trained in Russia. And recently it was announced that scholarships will be increased to about 100 per year.
      I don't live in Burundi so I can't be sure, but I think there is some cooperation between Burundi and Brazil in agriculture and education.
